Chapter 1074: Chapter 380: Divine Realm

The roaring thunder!!

A furious storm howls like a raging Giant Dragon, bringing endless violence that rampantly devastates the entire world.

Dark clouds, as if ascending from Hell, obscure the sky and usher in countless lightning bolts that slither like silver serpents, intertwining with the tornadoes rising from the ground to paint a heart-stopping picture of the apocalypse.

Lightning roars, the world trembles, a wild wind devastates everything in its path, leaving the earth in disarray, the stench of scorched soil lingering in the air.

Wayne stands within the dark Barrier, gazing up at this peculiar space.

The Barrier, erected by Anastasia, has helped recover his body and set him on the path of Void Evolution. His long-stagnant Cultivation Realm has made steady progress, and with the consolidation of his state of mind, he has reached the threshold of the Demigod Realm.

The Barrier she has established can withstand the invasion of lightning and storms.

"This world... it seems somewhat similar to the Grey Space."

Wayne thinks of the world inside the Obelisk, which appears similar yet fundamentally different, and feels momentarily perplexed.

"It’s a False Divine Nation, also known as the Divine Realm," Idinis advises.

"There’s a false Divine Nation?"

Wayne expresses his surprise, asking, "Only gods can establish a Divine Nation. What does a false one mean? Like a false god?"

"Subsidiary Gods are also gods, but they aren’t true deities. They establish their own Divine Realms based on faith," Idinis elucidates.

Indeed, that makes sense.

Wayne nods, realizing he had trapped himself in a fallacy, having forgotten this detail.

According to Hell’s records and other ancient texts, The Seven Demon Kings each have their ’Divine Nation’, and the Giant Dragon has its Dragon Kingdom.

But these aren’t genuine Divine Nations; they are solidified from the Life Domains of Demigods through faith. A Demigod capable of this is almost stepping into the domain of gods.

They are just short of igniting the Divine Fire to become true deities.

"A Demigod is a very ambiguous Realm. Some Demigods, with their strong foundations, forge Divine Realms, while others use faith as a shortcut, becoming hollow on the inside. At this stage, they are entitled to be called gods but are not truly gods."

As she speaks, Idinis glances at Sarosia. The Sky Goddess is hollow inside, forging a Divine Realm through faith and harboring the delusion of ascending in one step. She was shattered to pieces for being too weak.

The lesson from the past is clear before their eyes. The Sky Goddess desperately warned her peers: either you’re capable or you’re not; puffing up one’s face to look fat will only backfire in the end.

Unaware of Idinis’ glance, Sarosia says to Wayne, "Boss, the Storm and Thunder Lord is reshaping his Divine Realm, and I can feel it. The entrance to the Divine Realm is above us; once we break in, I can take him down."

And then what? You’ve been searching for three months and still haven’t found the entrance?

Wayne looks at Sarosia with compassion. As she said, she can sense the Storm and Thunder Lord, and vice versa. If both are squeezed onto the same path, neither can hide from the other.

Could it be possible that the Storm and Thunder Lord saw Sarosia and deliberately led her down the wrong path?

Wayne, feeling sorry for the honest ones, doesn’t want to speak up and embarrass her. He just watches Sarosia, hoping she will realize herself.

Sarosia is full of question marks, not understanding what Wayne means. She touches her face; all the ash has been cleaned off, it’s not dirty.

"Pfft~~"

Idinis chuckles: "Idiot, if you can see the other party, they can see you too. In my opinion, it’s clear that he predicted your prediction and intentionally led you to a wrong path."

Because it’s Idinis, her sarcasm is full-on, and even good words sound extremely unpleasant coming from her.

Sarosia snorts in contempt, immediately retorting, "I am the Sky Goddess; thunder and storms are under my control. Could they fool me?"

The affairs of lightning and storms are highly specialized; Idinis plays with darkness, so she shouldn’t pretend to understand here.

As they argue, the two Goddesses start bickering again.

Idinis sticks to her usual routine: first draw aggro, then use reverse psychology. This tactic never fails, and she manipulates Sarosia perfectly, with the latter setting several wagers in anger.

In such a state, Idinis can stuff the bed of Wayne nine times in a single night.

Wayne says nothing, knowing Sarosia is a good mule, loyal as a retainer, and her devotion compares well to Ah Bin’s.

Considering Ah Bin is a bitch and Sarosia is a Goddess, Wayne is even more pleased with her.

Such a mule is hard to find even with a lantern.

The only downside is that Sarosia is too naive; without supervision, she’s prone to being taken advantage of. Wayne hopes the headmistress will train her well, not to be savvy but to learn from her mistakes and not repeat the same error.

The two women continue their dispute while Wayne looks down at the land beneath his feet. If the upper path is impassable, the entrance to the Divine Nation might very well be below.

"I’ve heard that gods are invincible within their own Divine Nation. Is there such a saying?" Wayne turns to the two Goddesses, specifically to Idinis.

"There is such a saying, but it’s not absolute. Each case should be analyzed specifically. Take Sarosia here, for example; her Divine Realm was once shattered by a formidable enemy, and even her Laws were taken from her," Idinis says ambiguously.

Sarosia, feeling her face lose honor, hurriedly pleads, "Boss, my situation back then was different; there weren’t many cases to learn from, so I made a big mistake. I’m really powerful, not as incompetent as she describes."

Taking the initiative provides an advantage, allowing one to quickly dominate and maintain a competitive edge.
