Chapter 1036: Chapter 370: As Expected of the Divine Oracle High Priest, You Are Too Strong_3

As far as his mastery of magic was concerned, this level of fatal injury was not lethal to him at all. He simply raised his hand to seal the toxin.

In mid-air, a black shadow was cast downwards.

Weiwen only heard the hissing and howling of the wind before a succubus wielding a black flame greatsword struck from above. He lifted his left hand, and the Elemental Authority Ring morphed into an energy shield, blocking the attack in an instant. With a fierce glare, he looked upwards.

The terrifying mental assault pushed the energy shield to accelerate instantly.

Odilia’s black flame greatsword shattered upon contact, and her body was flung high into the sky along with the shield.

Weiwen teleported away in an instant, reappearing behind Odilia. He drew a silver rapier from his sleeve and thrust it directly into the back of Odilia’s heart.

With a "puff," the hilt disappeared into her.

Weiwen snorted coldly, dropped Odilia’s corpse, and repeated the move, teleporting and backstabbing Regina, turning her into another corpse.

The two silver rapiers came with a sealing effect, isolating thoughts and ignoring the enemy’s self-healing abilities. With the right tactics, a mage of the same realm could be swiftly killed.

He was absolutely certain, the hearts of the two Lords of Lust containers were pierced; they were dead beyond doubt.

"Damn Party Guard Corps, even the method to break Life Force Field has been figured out by them..."

Although Weiwen had won, his face was darkened. The legendary Mage’s proud Life Force Field had been completely analyzed. If not for the mediocre strength of the two succubi, it would have been his doom today.

No wonder they dared to assassinate right at the doorstep of the Church headquarters. It turned out that they didn’t see him as worthy of recruitment, but rather wanted to kill him to make room for The Church’s Insectoids.

A chill ran through Weiwen’s heart, not because of the assassination, but because his proud Life Force Field had been negated. As a deeply skilled mage, he was very aware of the terrifying impact that the research of Prussia would cause.

It was enough to change the whole structure of the Magic Realm, no, the entire world.

"No, it can’t be that terrifying. Only two succubi managed to do it. The container of the Lord of Gluttony doesn’t have this capability..."

Weiwen comforted himself constantly, clutching his neck stung by the toxin, and teleported in front of Wayne, "Tell me, where is the lab that made you?"

Wayne, with a face full of loyalty and fanaticism, replied, "Reporting to the great leader..."

Smack!

A black thorny whip came again, sweeping a strange arc, striking towards Weiwen’s neck.

"How can he still be alive?"

The sudden turn of events shocked Weiwen, just as he was about to extract the information, it was frustratingly interrupted.

He didn’t have time to think, and teleported quickly backwards.

Upon landing, a black figure swift as lightning pounced towards him again.

Odilia, wielding a black flame greatsword with a silver rapier still stabbed into her back, ignored the sealing and inhibiting self-heal effects, acting as though she was already dead.

Weiwen could not understand; he grew more wary of the research conducted by Prussian authorities, feeling that the world’s best experts on devils were not the devils themselves, but the Prussian Party Guard Corps.

He teleported again, but in a blink, Regina approached with a thorny whip in hand, a silver rapier likewise stabbed into her back.

Rather than remark on the succubi’s incredible speed, it was more apt to say they were baiting, having clearly seen through the Life Force Field.

Realizing that teleporting was useless and his unpredictable Life Force Field couldn’t disturb the two succubi, Weiwen was incredulous, refusing to believe it, he applied several common tricks in quick succession.

Legendary mages could always bully the weaker ones, and they had plenty of tricks.

Unfortunately, they were ineffective. Odilia and Regina, guided by an expert, seemed to have activated a full-map hack, making Weiwen’s excellent micro-movements completely visible to them.

Just like a certain transport squadron captain, his operations were fierce, but looking back, utterly foolish.

The two shadows, like specters, crisscrossed around Weiwen unleashing a fierce torrent of attacks, during which Weiwen tried to regain the upper hand with his maneuvers, but their advantage only widened.

Weiwen had never felt so suffocated since becoming a legendary mage; the two succubi were decent, but he hadn’t really taken them seriously. He was confident that if he got serious, he could win just by waving his sleeve.

But before that, he had to prove that his Life Force Field was still the pinnacle of combat power in the Mortal World.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t sleep soundly ever again!

At the same time, Wayne, seeing the two succubi secretaries struggling, and drifting further away from the original script, gave them another buff.

A red glow flickered in Odilia’s eyes as she shouted lowly, waving her long nails to sling out five red arcs.

It was like a switch had been flipped. Wayne, who hadn’t moved, looked up to the sky and let out a peculiar giggle.

Accompanied by a torrent of foam pouring out, a faint whisper spread and dissipated with the Life Force Field. The surrounding energies gradually solidified, seemingly drawn by the whispers, stopping to carefully listen.

The Listener was not the Four Elements, but Weiwen, the owner of the Life Force Field. As he heard the whispers near his ears, about to refuse, he suddenly found them quite reasonable.

With his attention swayed, his movements slowed down, and his thought process stiffened leading to a reduced reaction speed. Odilia and Regina seized the moment and launched a series of successful attacks.

Regina, wielding the long whip, coiled it around Weiwen’s neck, injecting the Sonata Toxin, turning his neck and entire face a dark purple-black.

Odilia leaped over Regina, pulled the silver white rapier from her back, rushed in front of Weiwen in a flash, her hand twitching mercilessly. The rapier flashed coldly, and a glaring flash of light passed as the blade pierced Weiwen’s body.

Weiwen, half his mind still agreeing with Wayne’s reasonings, realized the impending danger but was already a step too late, getting the silver rapier thrust into his neck.
