It had only been a few days since they got married, so how had she ended up lying in Fu Chenlie’s bed?

He replied, "The bedroom."

"The master bedroom?"

The old lady smiled, "Will you take me to see?"

Fu Chenlie stared at her, "What are you implying?"

The latter chuckled lightly, not at all displeased by the insinuation, instead openly stating, "I want to see how my granddaughter-in-law sleeps. Or perhaps you’d prefer the meaning you’re guessing at, to see if you really slept in the same room as my granddaughter-in-law?"
