Although they were not about to lose their fighting abilities immediately, the perceptible weakening of their senses and strength signaled impending trouble.

"Boom!"

Jed, who had only sipped a cocktail, reacted the quickest and was in the best shape.

As one of the most formidable among the Clan Leader’s personal guards, he transformed into a shadowy cloud of bats and broke through the window into the night sky as soon as he sensed danger. But he was promptly hit by a crimson spear, spiraling several times mid-air before finally steadying himself as he expanded his wings.

He looked upwards, his bloody cheeks lifting. Above he saw the spread of Blood wings and Miss Phemys, her long black hair dancing in the wind, clutching a Psychic Wand.

From her high perch, she looked down at him, a coldness etched on her baby-fat cheeks that was almost a mirror image of the indifference displayed by Salockdale.

"Murphy!"

"Bastard!"

"That damn ..."

"Traitor!"

Miss Phemys gritted out through her teeth.

A shudder ran through Jed at the sound. Then from below, he heard an odd, piercing, yet rhythmical music.

He looked down and saw more than thirty fully armored individuals sprinting from three different directions towards the House of Darkness, as the strange music of "tick-tick-tock-tick-tick~drip-drip-tock-drip-drip-drip" played. They were yelling in a strange language that Jed didn’t understand while they charged.

But from their tenacity, it was clear they have truly no fear of death!

They dared to directly challenge the vampires, who were far superior to them in strength. Were all these fellows mad?

"Boom!"

Another vicious Psychic burst exploded in front of Jed. Using his bat wings as shields to protect himself, he managed to avoid the impact.

Miss Phemys’ icy voice carried over to him:

"Are you still preoccupied with others? You shouldn’t have shown up... but now that you’re here, don’t think about leaving!"

While Miss Phemys, perched in the sky, was confronting Jed who was stronger than her, the battle on the ground was even fiercer.

A familiar battle cry echoed strangely in this different world setting, but rather than sounding inappropriate, it made the fighting gamers baying for blood look brave and fiercely determined, as if they had been given a Battle Buff.

They charged from three directions, just in time to meet with the disoriented vampires who had been blown out by the alchemist bombs. Bull Bull, leading the charge, bellowed and slammed his shield into a hapless bat that was trying to take off, effectively grounding him.

Then, four or five spears brutally stabbed into him, lifting the hapless enemy only to impale him even more savagely into a wall.

But even weakened Black Iron Rank vampires were formidable opponents. Bull Bull’s badge shield was quickly knocked out of his hand. Fierce claws wreathed in blood light scratched madly while more Psychic Spells burst forth, effectively reducing Bull Bull to half his health after a single direct attack.

However, the duty of a Tank is to create opportunities for his teammates.

And Bull Bull did just that!

Just as he fell heavily due to his injuries, a lean and sharp figure rushed into the vampires’ midst. With less than 10 minutes of the game time left, Sister Pomegranate was seething with rage.

Although she knew it was just a game, seeing her little brother beaten into such a state had triggered a "Blood Rage".

Only I can bully my little brother!

You bastards are all going to die for the old lady!

"Boom!"

A cruel punch hit the female vampire right in the face. The three piercing claws of the Psychic Fist flew out and cruelly ripped out the latter’s eyeballs. Another roundhouse kick to the vampire, followed by a punch forward, ripped open the flanks of another vampire.

Such injuries won’t immediately incapacitate a vampire.

It can’t be considered effective damage as the base of these supernatural beings was stronger than normal.

However, after seeing Sister Pomegranate’s ferocious combat stance, her classmates also issued wolf-like howls. In response, they, too, charged in and surprisingly pushed back the vampires into the house again.

It’s Strategy!

They had to limit the vampires’ flying abilities. If the Vulture Vampires couldn’t fly, their threat would be halved.

Ayu’s short-range shotgun blast surprisingly missed the target, drawing immediate ridicule from his peers.

But the brave Ayu just pursed his lips, reloaded his gun, after Coo Coo Chicken knocked over an attractive short-haired vampire with his half-sword. Ayu pounced and forcefully shoved the hard, thick nozzle of his gun into the seductive female ghost’s mouth.

"Open your mouth! Swallow it!"

He growled ominously before pulling the trigger at point-blank range.

With a muffled ’boom’, half of the female vampire’s head exploded in front of Ayu.

As warm blood splattered all over his face, Ayu withdrew his smoking gun barrel nonchalantly, turned to Khaki Tontita and Ni Gei Lu Da You, who were both stunned, and casually gave them the thumbs-up. Uttered in a nonchalant, yet highly pretentious manner, he said:

"It doesn’t matter if you can’t aim well, as long as you’re close enough. Isn’t my execution move cool?"

"It’s cool, but I wonder whether this can make it past the censor..."

Ni Gei Lu Da You, wielding the single winged blade his buddy got him, was about to say a few more words when he saw Ayu, who was still striking a pose, was tackled down by a vampire from behind. After a couple of screams, there was silence.

Dammit!

Is he already dead?

What are you, a freaking three-minute Superman? Die after launching your big move?

"Why are you dawdling? Get him!"

It was Khaki’s quick response, grabbing his double-handed poisonous ax and slashing at the mad vampire who was tearing at Ayu’s body, as Ni Gei Lu Da You quickly followed.
