Out of the appointed 45 Civilian Protection Officers, more than two-thirds are former Witch Hunters, with only a very few being players.

Among them, the most famous five are naturally Brother Cat and his four brothers, who all have the Civilian Protection Officer secondary profession and are seen as apprentices and escorts to Lord Kuder.

However, apart from them, the backgrounds of other Civilian Protection Officer players are a bit "subtle."

For example, the "Black Cat Sheriff" currently putting Broken Sword Master, guilty of "seduction" and "gossip," and Hundred forging big horse into the enforcement carriage, along with his best bud "One-Ear," although independent players in the game, are rumored to be quite close with Loyal Brother and his crew.

Another example is the game’s only female Civilian Protection Officer, "Stepping on Snow in Search of Plum," who is Master Yang’s wife and Pantless Demon’s mother, Lady Mei.

Lady Mei’s rise to prominence under Lord Kuder’s attention is hot on the heels of Brother Cat’s group of five, causing Roar of the Lion in Hedong and the other "seniors" to feel great pressure.
