Chapter 1449: 488. Exhibition hall... Why don’t you just say it’s a zoo? _2

The residential area’s bathroom also showed signs of use, and in the rest area’s wardrobe, a set of clothes was missing.

All these details indicate that someone had been here before Murphy and had tried to make this place their home.

But that guy clearly didn’t know how to use the various devices here.

At the very least, he didn’t know how to use the microwave to heat food, and the washing machine was not activated but was in a "waiting for command" state.

"Locals! No doubt, they can’t handle this ’future technology’."

Murphy soon had an answer.

He opened the washing machine and took out several articles of clothing, then saw a handwritten label on the collar of a white shirt:

"Witch Cafe, bartender Wally?"

Murphy looked at the embroidered words, guessing this was a "uniform"? He knew about the "Witch Cafe"—the name had been mentioned when the Plague Rat King died.

That was Origin’s main base in Charldo Harbor.

If so, then that weird guy who had come here before and sent off a group of students was someone from Origin.

Getting this information made Murphy feel his trip was worthwhile.

He threw those clothes into the trash can and returned to the data desk. After careful identification, Murphy also smelled a hint of blood at the authentication hole of the data desk.

This meant that the previous guy had tried to bind a Grand Apparatus here!

Not only had he gotten hold of the Grand Apparatus, but he even knew how to bind it to gain more power; if it weren’t for the preset binding permissions, he might have actually succeeded...

Hiss, these Heretics are really something!

Where did they get all this information left behind by the creator?

This knowledge should theoretically only be known to Murphy, the "administrator".

The new discovery made the Vampire Lord furrow his eyebrows.

He realized that his previous understanding of the Twilight Organization was too one-sided; these guys were not simply hot-headed and blindly calling for the destruction of everything left by the creator—they clearly had a profound understanding of the creator’s power and knowledge.

He wondered what bizarre knowledge they had learned during their studies that made them hold such great hatred towards the artifacts left by the creator?

With such thoughts, Murphy took out a handkerchief to clean the hole on the data desk before inserting his left middle finger into it.

A slight sting indicated that blood was flowing; after a few seconds of waiting, the nestled Grand Apparatus emitted a soft click.

Its shell’s four hidden lights flickered green, indicating the binding was complete!

At that moment, Murphy’s will actively extended like mercury spilling over, quickly sensing the Grand Apparatus forming a connection with him at a conscious level.

Just like the feeling when he first bound himself to the Necessary Evil.

But before Murphy could carefully perceive more, the scene in front of him abruptly changed, as if some distant illusion was projected right before his eyes.

Image after image flashed by like a revolving lantern, strikingly similar to those strange, incomprehensible fragments that had flashed before his eyes when he directly faced Salockdale.

He saw the scenes of world collapses.

Not one, but many.

Worlds destroyed by plagues, by fire and comets, by earthquakes and magma, by tsunamis and hurricanes.

Even worlds swallowed by dim nebulae and the horrifying scenes when the sun extinguished.

A completely black sun, with only its coronal rim emitting dying light, stared at Murphy with countless crimson eyes opening at its core.

The Vampire Lord immediately stepped back.

He recognized the presence before him; he had faced the same subspace presence when he executed those four Chaotic Swordsmen.

This was "Original Sin"!

It was that self-styled "Original Sin" subspace shadow.

"Alpha! Dog of the creator! I see you..."

A malicious voice surged from the illusory surroundings, like a mental tsunami hitting wave after wave, attempting to pull Murphy into that storm of the mind and completely tear his psyche apart.

However, this time Murphy handled the oppressive force with ease.

He merely felt a pressure, but it was not unbearable.

Perhaps it was because of the power given to him by the [Data Deleted] soda he had just had, which even allowed him to raise his middle finger towards the subspace shadow’s illusion trying to harm him.

Fear tried to crush Murphy, but he remained unmoved, and soon the fear ebbed away, and in a mere moment, the illusions around Murphy quietly vanished.

Leaving behind just a lingering echo...

"Aiding tyranny! You won’t die well!"

That was the last "warning" Original Sin gave Murphy as it receded.

The message from the subspace shadow was quite clear—Murphy should not comply with the creator, for the creator was a big villain.

"Tsk, my eyes aren’t blind yet."

Murphy stepped back, rubbing his slightly swollen forehead.

With a slight gesture, the Grand Apparatus in the recess levitated and under Murphy’s command rapidly transformed in front of his eyes, eventually shrinking into something resembling a USB drive.

It fell into the vampire’s hand and Murphy pinched it, inserting it into the sealed console’s input slot, like starting a car with a gentle twist.

"Beep, beep, beep... Whoosh"
