Chapter 1410: 475. Driving away wolves and chasing tigers, meow! _3

"Stick Brother said the most optimistic progress for today is only to clear the second floor of the Wizard Tower, brothers, it’s our time to shine!"

In the Swamp Forbidden Area, sitting in the giant serpent’s den, Ayu logged out of the forum. He turned to look at his fully-armed brothers behind him, then picked up a stick and pointed at the makeshift map underneath, saying:

"Stick Brother’s strategy will last for six hours, and two hours have already passed, so we’re leaving in two hours!

From here to Pestilence Town, it’ll take at least forty minutes of flying, and we still need to attract the giant serpent’s attention along the way and lure it from this path to the west side of Pestilence Town, waiting for the lady to complete the Spiritual Energy countermeasure before letting it charge in from the west gate.

Whoever takes the final relay, remember to throw that egg into the Wizard Tower!

That way, the giant serpent will definitely attack the tower ferociously.

I’ve already said hello to Teacher Li and Zou Lan over there, once our ’Nash Baron’ starts charging the tower, our people will also start attacking the town simultaneously.

If all goes well, the giant serpent charging through will be enough to detonate all the traps on the road, thereby eliminating the problems that trouble us!"

Ayu threw down the stick and rubbed his hands, saying:

"So, the most wonderful outcome is that the Wizard Tower gets completely destroyed, and all that remains in front of everyone is the last small structure tower in Pestilence Town.

Inside, at most, there’s one last BOSS, with eight days left we could even grind it to death!"

"But the giant serpent will die, right?"

Meow Meow Shark, the animal-loving Vampire Hunter, said with some reluctance:

"It’s already injured, and attacking a Mage Tower will likely lead to its death, aren’t we going too far?"

"Do you think if we don’t do this, the ’Nash Baron’ could survive?"

Cheche sighed, reached out, and put his arm around Meow Meow Shark’s shoulder, saying:

"You’ve seen how those Jackal Warlocks ’exploit bugs’ outside, although I don’t know why the giant serpent doesn’t cross the forbidden zone to deal with them, the fact is if this continues, the serpent will grow weaker and eventually be despicably killed by the Jackal Warlocks.

One could say the serpent’s death is certain under the current situation.

Its injuries are not naturally formed; this serpent has many hidden stories. Our current power is weak, and we can at most give the serpent a dignified death.

Letting it perish along with those malicious Jackal Men is at least better than letting it die so stiflingly.

Besides, haven’t we all accepted that quest?"

Cheche reached out and touched the stone giant egg placed before everyone, whispering:

"We will definitely complete this hidden quest, hatch this millennium egg, and let the progeny of the giant serpent continue to live in this forbidden zone!

It’s like we’ve signed a contract with the serpent..."

"How about we try it first?"

Coo Coo Chicken, stroking his chin, said:

"We can’t be sure that the giant serpent will definitely follow us because of the egg, so it’s better to go outside first and see, use this egg to lure the giant serpent over the forbidden area to kill those damned Jackal Warlocks, consider it a way to let the serpent vent its anger?"

"Good idea! Let’s do just that!"

Gebao looked at the time on the player interface and said:

"Everyone log off for a meal now, meet up online in an hour, we’ll first test the giant serpent’s capability, and then start this grand strategy to drive the wolves and chase away the tigers."

"Ugh, what kind of gourmet meal do you need an hour to eat?"

Cheche contemptuously said:

"Thirty minutes for a plate of fried noodles is enough, I can hardly wait to see those damned Jackal Warlocks get a taste of their own medicine, brothers, hurry up and do it!

And we can also pick up some loot along the way.

We’re probably going to lose several people this time, might as well recover some blood in advance."

"Who needs to eat? Peh, I, Coo Coo Chicken, have always despised such bullying of simpletons, and carrying out this act of justice fills me with strength.

Let’s eat after we finish this!

After we clear the dungeon, tonight’s barbecue is on me!"

Coo Coo Chicken stood up and patted his chest, his high-spiritedness eliciting cheers from his dormitory brothers.

They all helped Coo Coo Chicken clumsily strap the stone egg onto his back; because it was a "special item," it couldn’t be stored in the Psychic package nor could it be teleported, so they had no other choice.

Luckily, even though it was huge, it wasn’t heavy— not even as heavy as the missile they had carried during the previous massive bombing.

"I’ll go first; you guys follow behind. If I go down, you keep flying with the egg."

Coo Coo Chicken hopped around on the spot, testing the strength of the bindings, and after confirming everything was all right, he flapped his wings and took to the air, calling out to his brothers:

"Given the current situation, this might be our only chance to take down Plague Town before NPCs intervene! Brothers, no matter the cost, we must capture it! This first Hall of Fame entry, it’s ours for sure!

So...

See you all in the Hall of Fame, gentlemen!"

Coo Coo Chicken, fueled by passion, shouted and took on an accelerating pose in the air; then, like the ridiculous speeds seen in cartoons, he zoomed off, with his brothers forming a "protective escort formation" closely behind him.

Under Murphy’s watching eye from hiding, his brave players flew over various parts of the Forbidden Area, even the little animals around seemed to sense that something significant was about to happen.

The monkeys screamed from the trees on the sides, and even the Swamp Tigers let out deep roars as if blessing these Vampire warriors.

"Those bastards are still bullying that dopey giant snake! I see it!"

A few minutes later, Cheche shouted from mid-air:

"Go! Coo Coo Chicken, show them some color! Let those evildoers buy sunflower seeds for the dopey giant snake!"

"Here I come!"

The Vampire warrior carrying the giant egg sped up again with a sinister smirk.

As he approached the edge of the battlefield where Ningkinanka and the evil Jackal Warlocks were entangled, the giant snake, furiously attacking the undead fodder, raised its head with a roar, its black gemstone-like eyes staring intently towards Coo Coo Chicken.

Obviously.

It sensed the scent of the egg from its nest drawing near.

Driven by its maternal instincts, the giant snake became even more frenzied, breaking through the carefully laid traps and defensive lines of the Jackal Warlocks, screaming and spewing venom towards Coo Coo Chicken.

The horrifying venom rain even stained half the sky dark green, totally unavoidable!

Cheche and Gebao, two Psychics, sped forward, simultaneously raising a Defensive Skill, using the pale red, shield-shaped Spiritual Energy walls to block the toxic spray for Coo Coo Chicken, crafting a safe downward path through the narrow space between green poisonous clouds.

The Vampire warrior, after three speed boosts, broke the sound barrier, shooting past the roaring giant snake towards the hiding spot of the Jackal Warlocks like a loosed arrow.

The giant snake followed closely.

It hesitated for a moment as it neared the edges of the Forbidden Area.

Ancient memories restrained it from crossing the boundary set by the "Curator." However, the scent of the giant egg drew it like bait, pulling it over that ancient, ineffective frontier in less than two seconds hesitation, marking its first time actively stepping outside this boundary.

This scene shocked the Jackal Warlocks exploiting the "bug."

They couldn’t grasp what had just happened.

But they knew they were doomed.

Seeing Coo Coo Chicken carrying the giant egg and laughing wickedly in the air, Jackal Warlocks, one by one, looked shocked as those with quick wits were already trying to open a teleport, while the slower ones still attempted to raise their Bone Staffs, directing the surrounding undead to block the "easy prey" Coo Coo Chicken.

"Idiots, maliciously exploiting bugs comes at a cost! Let me punish you harshly on behalf of the developers! Die! DIE!"

Coo Coo Chicken deliberately slowed down as he approached the Jackal Man formation.

He made a throat-slitting gesture maliciously towards the Jackal Warlocks below.

Just a second before the giant snake behind him recharged to spray another rain of venom, the agile Vampire made a prefect high-altitude climb to dodge, yet as the venom rain fell, it ’melted’ three Jackal Warlocks who didn’t dodge in time.

"Ha! Operation Drive Wolves and Tigers, first phase perfectly successful!"

Coo Coo Chicken shouted:

"Brothers, Plague Town is now in our bag... Oh shit! How can it still teleport? Damn, I’m blinded. Quick! Meow Meow Shark, take over! Brothers, I’m going down; it’s all up to you now!

See you... in the Hall of Fame!"
