Chapter 1186: 401. Damn, how did you guys ruin another Novice Village again! - [Extra 8/10]_2

Yes!

Existence is the most realistic and most important thing.

Existence is everything, everything for existence!

In such contemplation, Hog quickly finished telling the young ones about the third Black Disaster.

This "storytelling" method was accepted by the youthful Jackals who disliked studying. These were the most relaxed moments in their educational journey, but after the story ended, they had to learn writing and reading. For the Jackals, learning the Transia People’s script was difficult as their throat structure made it hard for them to pronounce words like humans do.

However, the helpless situation was that the local Jackals had no script of their own, and the Jackals of the Dark Mountain Range could not possibly teach them the Jackal language. Hog forcing them to learn was also a measure of desperation.

After a morning of reading and writing practice, there was "skill training" at noon. Depending on the young Jackals’ areas of expertise, Clan members taught them skills from skinning to herb gathering, and even fishing and egg picking— all to ensure they developed a useful skill.

In the afternoon, the Clan’s Barbarian Soldiers and Hunters would teach them combat, which would continue until night fell.

Hog’s "class time" was completely modeled after the educational pattern set by Professor Malcolm at Crimson Castle for the human children. He thought this was a very good way of passing down and nurturing skills, effectively preventing the young ones from growing up to be as foolish and stubborn as their parents.

The educational outcomes during this period were remarkable.

Although the Clan’s young ones looked no different from other young ones, they were already able to effectively complete the tasks assigned by Hog. Upon the arrival of Transia’s Warriors at the den, these young ones would communicate with them in broken Transia language, gaining "favorability" while also obtaining some "feeding."

It was truly a win-win situation.

Nevertheless, today was a lucky day for the young ones as Chief Hog had business in the swamp, so the morning literacy practice was handed over to the Chief’s confidant, an Elder Gnoll named "Gold Teeth."

Although Gold Teeth was also strict, he was not a Jackal and couldn’t employ the physical punishment that Chief Hog did, making it much easier for the young ones.

After two hours of "morning reading" ended, Hog finished his deer meat breakfast and casually checked the young ones’ homework completion from the previous day. Seeing no one had slacked off, he left very satisfied, gathered his troops and once again entered the Polluted Swamp with Nash.

Their objective this time was very clear and they quickly reached Plague Town without any detours, as Hog had gained acceptance from the Plague Warlocks, allowing them unobstructed entry into the town.

Riding on a Seat Wolf, he ignored the fierce and venomous glances from the Bone Biter Barbarian Soldiers, heading straight for the Construct Tower and finding the mad Lame Claw who had just completed a dissection.

At that moment, only one day remained until Hog’s poisoning worsened, and Lame Claw was surprised to see him.

He thought Hog had already died.

"Here! What you asked for."

Hog, visibly annoyed, threw a dirty Psychic energy bag at Lame Claw, who caught it and upon opening, let out a joyful howl. Inside the bag were several petrified Vampire hearts, the heart-shaped gemstones radiated midnight power and a bloody scent, satisfying Lame Claw.

"You truly are a miraculous creature, Hog."

Lame Claw moved its iconic eyes, which lacked a common focal point, and praised Hog:

"I have never seen a Jackal manage to hunt Vampires so cleanly and still live so well. But I smell more blood on you. Do you have more Vampire hearts?

Why not bring them out?"

"I can’t just give these to you for nothing."

Hog then took another bag from behind his waist, within which were the remaining Vampire hearts.

Over these six days, he had used the Festival wand he received from Lame Claw as a reward for the "Smugglers’ Forest hunting activity," exciting the Psychic players into fervor.

They formed several temporary teams using maps provided by the Jackals and crossed into the Kato area from the Polluted Swamp, initiating a frenzied hunting mode on the peripheral members of the Wolf Poison Vampires. In six days, Hog managed to acquire 25 Vampire hearts.

Of course, his Festival wand inventory was almost completely depleted.

Now Hog urgently needed new rewards to maintain the "enthusiasm of the Warriors" he had finally stirred up. This was his second purpose for visiting Plague Town, besides detoxification.

The Blood Claw Chief had fully realized the terrifying potential of the players.

He had become addicted to this super useful, powerful workforce and had no intention of letting go.

"You need to offer something good in exchange for these Vampire hearts. To obtain them, my Clan has suffered greatly and even made enemies with the Vampires in the Kato area. Now, apart from the Vulture Vampires of Transia wanting me, the Wolf Poison Clan also sees me as a thorn in their side!"

Hog cursed:

"The Skeleton Army and Festival wands you gave me have been all used up in such campaigns, I even almost died in that damned place. So, Lame Claw, if you want more, you’ll have to give more.

I need compensation too!"

"Let’s detoxify first, my capable friend."

Lame Claw let out a strange laugh and tossed an oddly colored Potion at Hog.
