As your bloodline pact with Melia Corando is incomplete, the two of you cannot maintain a normal symbiotic relationship.

At the current intimacy level, you can force Melia to fight for you, assist or complete assigned tasks, but you cannot force her to engage in interactions beyond the current level of intimacy.

Your current intimacy level with Melia Corando is ’Unfamiliar Stranger,’ and the types of interactions available are: Weak Commands, Combat Assistance, and Ongoing Duties.

Since the intimacy is at a minimum, some commands that conflict with Melia Corando’s own values will be rejected.

This long string of quest explanations and tips made Happy Stick realize he might have snagged an "arduous task" unimaginable to other players, and the combat power boost from the three pacts and the Talent and strength feedback from the First Embrace made him aware that his combat ability had increased by at least a fifth in an instant. Not to mention, he now had Melia Corando, the "special summoned creature" as backup in battle, essentially gaining a formidable helper out of thin air.

In other words, the dev team wasn’t joking; this "First Embrace" gameplay probably wasn’t supposed to be a high-level feature to be released at this stage, and his and Wumeioge’s bug adventure had earned him the duties of a Tester.

Filling out an observation form every week and exploring the various effects of the Blood Pact sounded tedious, but when he looked up at the respectfully present Melia, a sense of "achievement" surged in Happy Stick’s heart.
