My Love Debts Are Everywhere! -
Chapter 720 - 720: Complete Blindness
"It's dark... it's hot... and it hurts! Someone, help me!"
In the midst of endless darkness, Leon felt his body bound by chains, unable to move.
A searing pain scorched his skin and bones, forcing groans of agony from his lips.
No matter how hard he struggled, it was futile.
The chains were too strong, and he couldn't sense even a flicker of his holy power—nor his chaos power.
The pain was unbearable, as if he were trapped in a furnace burning at hundreds of degrees Celsius.
Strangely, his body didn't burn or melt. It remained intact, yet the torment was overwhelming.
A day, a week, a month... maybe even a year—Leon had no idea how long he had been imprisoned here.
Time had no meaning in this dark, twisted space, as if he were in a different dimension altogether.
Just as despair began to consume him, a streak of white light appeared in the distance.
It was small at first but gradually grew larger until it revealed the silhouette of a tall, faceless man.
Without a word, the man raised his right hand and launched a sphere of white light toward him.
*Boom!*
The light struck Leon, and he braced for the worst. But to his surprise, it didn't hurt—nor did it kill him.
Instead of pain, there was the sound of metal shattering into pieces from all directions. At that moment, the chains vanished, the agony ceased, and Leon was finally free.
A wave of relief and calm washed over him. The torment had been so intense that even someone as strong as he was nearly broken.
If not for his sheer willpower, he might have surrendered—lost to death or banished to some unknown place.
Slowly, he raised his head, uncertainty flickering in his eyes as he looked at the figure made of light.
"Who are you? Why did you help me?" he asked cautiously.
There was something strange about the man—both familiar and unfamiliar. His posture, even his hairstyle, closely resembled Leon's.
"Is he... another version of me?"
The thought made his heart pound violently in his chest.
It could be true—or not. He wasn't certain, but something deep inside him whispered that it was the answer.
Still, the man said nothing. Instead, he raised his left hand and pointed to the side.
Leon instinctively turned to follow his gesture.
A moment later, his eyes widened in surprise. A golden door stood open, radiating brilliant white light that was too blinding to see past.
"Is that the way out?" he asked again.
This time, the man slowly nodded.
Leon took a deep breath and stepped forward. But just before crossing the threshold, he looked back and said softly, "Thank you... for helping me."
"You're welcome," the man said calmly. "I was merely doing my duty. Now go, Leon Kruger. It's not your time to die—the world still needs you. And please... don't repeat the mistakes I once made."
Leon's eyes widened, his heart racing. But before he could say a word, the door pulled him in, and in an instant, he vanished—like he had never existed.
The man watched him disappear, then slowly began to fade. Just before his form dissolved completely, he smiled and whispered, "This timeline is the turning point. Change is coming. And those wretched gods... they'll meet a miserable end. That much is certain."
*Whoosh!*
His form dissolved into countless points of light, swallowed by the eternal dark.

"Haaah!"
Leon jolted awake, gasping for air as he sat up abruptly, his face pale and filled with fear.
Clutching his pounding chest, he gritted his teeth and whispered to himself, "Was that really just a dream? Then why did it feel so real?"
The memory of the torture in that dark, unfamiliar place came rushing back, making his entire body tremble.
He had always possessed a strong body—never once flinching in the face of pain or torture. But in that place... all his strength had vanished. His body had been no different from an ordinary human's.
That was what made the suffering unbearable—it had carved itself deep into his mind, like a wound that would never heal.
But then, Leon sensed something was wrong—his surroundings were pitch black.
"What's going on? Why can't I see?" He shouted in panic.
He rubbed his eyes and felt that his eyelids were open. There was only one explanation—he was blind.
"How is this possible? Could this be a side effect of using the Eyes of Chaos at full power?"
The moment that thought crossed his mind, a tightness gripped his chest.
Never in his life had he imagined losing his sight. And what terrified him even more... was that this blindness didn't feel temporary.
"This is seriously messed up..." he muttered under his breath.
Was he panicking? Of course. But he wasn't the kind of young man who collapsed under pressure. He had already lost his strength to the Devouring Poison—and survived far worse.
Something like this wouldn't bring him down.
After all, dragon blood flowed through his veins—and as far as he knew, dragons possessed extraordinary healing abilities.
If he could tap into that power, he was certain his blindness could be cured.
Unfortunately, for now, that power was out of reach. Whether it was due to the strain of his forced transformation or some other cause, his dragon power was completely sealed.
For now, he had no choice but to wait—his body needed to recover before he could access that power again.
"At least I haven't lost my chaos power," he muttered, clenching his palm.
A purplish-black aura emerged, wrapping itself around his body.
Just as he was lost in thought, he heard footsteps approaching—followed by the sound of a door opening.
A young woman, around eighteen years old, stepped into the room. She was tall, beautiful, and striking. Her skin was tanned, and her black hair was cut short, just brushing her shoulders.
Her hazel eyes shone with spirit and determination—an expression that seemed far too mature for someone her age.
She wore a unique outfit made of coarse brown fabric, covering her chest and lower body while leaving her slender midriff exposed.
On her cheeks and forehead were streaks of white and red—distinctive markings that clearly identified her as a member of some unknown tribe.
The moment she saw Leon awake, her eyes widened in surprise, and she quickly walked over to him.
"You're awake, sir?" she asked cautiously.
Leon was taken aback for a moment, then turned his face toward her voice and asked, "Who are you? Did you save me?"
