My Hitman System -
Chapter 191 - 191: Wooden Crates
After a restful night, Jin wakes up at around six in the morning. Does some exercise and stretching, and freshens up.
He then goes outside for breakfast and finds a secluded place to change his appearance.
He had morphed into a localite. His skin tone appeared dark, and his pupils had turned a deep brown.
He had saved this appearance on the system during his time in Umroi. It was finally time to utilise it.
With his appearance similar to everyone, he didn't attract much attention and soon made his way through the streets and towards the coastline.
Rupiya Harbour
Seeing the signboard pointing in the left direction, Jin entered the narrow pathway which led him to the harbour.
The next moment, the stench of rotten fish and piss entered his nostrils.
'Just where is this coming from?' Jin thought and looked around. He could understand the fish smell since this was a fishing harbour, but what he couldn't understand was why it smelled like piss.
In front of him, one fishing boat after another was docked in the wharf and to his left was a fishing boat the size of two storeyed buildings being constructed.
'So they are that big when not submerged in water,' Jin thought in an impressed manner and made his way along the wharf.
Many fishermen were standing near their boats. Most were doing some last-minute maintenance before setting sail.
As he passed one ship after another, he soon got the answer to the question that had been bugging him.
From the deck of a boat, a man with a drunken and unkempt appearance was pissing down the gunwale.
Seeing the piss mixing with the water made Jin realise the reason for the stench.
'Dirty bastards,' his eye twitched as he looked at the disgusting sight.
The man was confidently pissing while flashing his little dongle for everyone to see.
Jin averted his gaze from the man's dongle and then looked at him.
"What ya staring at, punk? Want to give me a good suck?" The man spouted.
Knowing that it was best to ignore such folks, Jin just continued to walk forward along the wharf.
"Yes, walk away like the bitch you are!" the drunken man exclaimed while laughing, but seeing that Jin was still unresponsive, he just clicked his tongue and focused back on finishing his piss.
Ignoring the man's provocations, Jin glanced at his mission panel.

He had opened the location, and the map was visible to his eye.
The unnamed ship mentioned as the target was just a hundred meters away from him.
Jin soon arrived at the location and looked at the ship. The deck was mostly empty, and there was just a man lying on the deck.
On the man's arms, a tattoo of a Scorpion was made. Seeing this, Jin was reminded of Brown's words.
'Scorpion gang?' Jin thought to himself as he continued to walk forward without stopping.
'Since they are a gang, they'll most probably operate at night,' Jin thought to himself and soon left the harbour.
Having nothing else to do, he just explored the city.
From malls to gambling dens. He met quite a lot of people, bought them drinks and exchanged words with them.
By the end of the day, he had acquired quite a lot of information about how the city operated because of this.
There were two main gangs that controlled the city.
One was the Scorpion gang, and the other was the Cobra Gang.
Under them worked all the several subsidiary gangs, the number of which could be counted on one's hand.
Drugs and Alcohol were their main source of income, but despite doing the same business, the Scorpion Gang was manyfold larger and more powerful than the Cobra Gang.
'They must have an income source the other party is not aware of,' Jin concluded with information he had acquired so far.
After having dinner at a restaurant, Jin returned to his hotel. Of course, he changed back to William's appearance before doing so.
In the room, he freshened up to wipe away the sweat and then changed into a dark set of clothes.
When the clock was nearing half past eleven, Jin's figure leapt out of the window of the first floor and landed on the ground.
Little to no sound came from his landing.
Then, using his Concealment and Stealth skills to the fullest, Jin made his way towards the harbour.
There were still quite a lot of people on the streets, but no one noticed Jin's figure, which stayed close to the shadows.
After entering the harbour, Jin soon reached the boat.
Just like he had predicted, there was movement around the ship.
Seven men were offloading wooden crates from the back of a small truck and loading them on the boat.
When Jin saw this, the mission panel soon updated.

'So not only would I not get rewarded for this mission, but my previous reward would be stripped off if I fail??'
Jin sighed in frustration at the system's antics.
The least the system could do was give him additional rewards.
Keeping that matter at the back of his mind, Jin then focused on the men.
There were around 50 to 60 crates, and they all had the same dimensions of 2x2 feet.
He watched them and waited for a chance to come.
And it soon did. After finishing with their loading, one of the men suggested.
"We still have 15 minutes before departure, let's have a smoke."
They agreed and moved to the truck's front to chat and enjoy their earned leisure time.
Jin's figure rushed onto the boat's deck the very next moment and then entered the lower deck through the access door.
An oil lamp was hung on the ceiling, and with its help, Jin approached a crate and opened it up.
A purplish glare made him squint his eyes and turn around, but the next moment his eyes widened.
'Devil Crystal!' Jin exclaimed and once again turned towards them.
The gems were shimmering with their purple radiance, and seeing it, Jin couldn't help but feel a sense of anger welling up in him.
If not for these cursed items, his relationship with Diana would not have failed!
Just at the moment, he received another follow-up mission.
