My ‘Healing’ Game
Chapter 816: 51st Floor

Chapter 816: Chapter 816: 51st Floor

Han Fei still hasn’t met the conditions to exit the game. No matter what happens in reality, he can’t leave.

Though feeling uneasy, he decided to continue exploring. If he can’t take care of both reality and the Deep World, he will choose to stay in the Deep World because there are too many things he can’t let go of here.

"The items left by the Dancer are in the Safe House on the upper fifty floors. Why don’t we go get that thing first?" Mr. Mo held the radio that was about to shatter. "The Dancer said that the items in the Safe House might help us leave the skyscraper."

"Do you know exactly which floor it’s on?"

"The radio can be used one more time..." Mr. Mo made up his mind. "I now have a very bad feeling, as if my whole body is soaking in an invisible sea, and there’s a force pulling on my flesh, making me continuously sink. So I want to complete the last task the Dancer gave me while I’m still sane."

Mr. Mo was also affected by the Unspeakable. The others didn’t even see it. Just stepping foot in the upper fifty floors, where it resided, crushed them mentally. This is the true strength of the Unspeakable.

"Alright." Under the pressure brought by the Unspeakable, everyone prepared to first determine the location of the Dancer’s room.

Han Fei found an empty room, left Big Evil to guard the door, and let the others guard the passage.

The almost broken radio was placed in front of Big Evil. Mr. Mo took off his coat and laid it under the radio. Black fire instantly ignited. "Now, inject the Soul Poison and obsession into it!"

Screams echoed from the radio, and its edges started to crumble.

The Soul Poison fell, and the screams from the radio grew louder. When the radio’s shell completely shattered, everyone saw an ear stained with a Curse and half of a disfigured face.

It was still bleeding, just as if it had been cut off moments ago.

"Is this the radio’s true form? The Dancer held onto a severed ear every day? What was he listening to?"

"That was a gift from his best friend! Quickly, ask for the Safe House’s location!" Mr. Mo, his body burning along with his coat, looked almost like a book filled with the word ’death.’

"We’ve reached the upper fifty floors. Where is the room you used to live in?" Han Fei shouted at the ear.

The half-disfigured human face trembled in the black fire and Soul Poison. The Dancer’s voice came from the torn mouth.

"I live on the eighty floor, the first Safe House is on the fifty-first floor. It was the Taboo on that floor that helped me. Don’t disturb anyone there, secretly find a Grave House full of tombstones! Remember! Be careful of mirrors! The mirrors inside the skyscraper are unclean!"

The Dancer wanted to convey more information, but that half human face seemed to have suddenly seen something extremely terrifying. It voluntarily dissolved in the black fire, turning into a puddle of corpse water.

"The Dancer was able to escape the skyscraper because a Taboo helped in secret. I’m getting curious about the identity of that person."

"Don’t get curious about others yet, let’s manage ourselves." The fear-struck boy beside Ji Zheng seemed about to lose control again. Ji Zheng hugged his head, but it had no effect; it seemed like something invisible was continually provoking the child.

"What do you think the Divine Spirit’s Ability is?" Han Fei noticed he was getting lost, an irreversible process. He himself knew this was in the Deep World, but everything around him was slowly approaching reality. Maybe at some point, he would become immersed and never be able to leave.

When facing the God Statue before, Han Fei remembered clearly that just one statue could seal all his Abilities, trapping him in a certain special domain.

"The biggest difference between the Unspeakable and ordinary Hatreds is that the area they reside in belongs only to themselves." After burning his coat, Mr. Mo became much weaker. "If this world is compared to an ultra-giant First Generation Ghost, then we’re all Souls living inside this Ghost. We need to live according to the rules of the First Generation Ghost. But the Unspeakable have already broken free from the constraints of rules, they could be considered new Ghosts."

Hearing Mr. Mo say this, Han Fei suddenly recalled what he heard about the classification of Ghost and Monster strength when he was in Happiness Residential Community.

Regret, Grudge, Hatred, they were not called Ghosts, merely emotions that kept fermenting.

"You two better not speak recklessly, saying such things in the Unspeakable’s territory, are you courting death?" Ji Zheng kicked the ashes on the ground and walked forward with the fear boy in his arms. "Since we know the Safe House is on this floor, stop dawdling, this kid can’t hold on much longer."

Even if he had become a Night Watchman, the soft part of Ji Zheng’s heart remained unchanged. He was not the best journalist, but it was undeniable that he had once been the most popular one.

"If you’re looking for the Grave House, I can help." Li Rou slit her wrist and held the blood flowing from her veins. As a Half-deformed Ghost, she could sense the location of nearby large Grave Houses. "There aren’t many Grave Houses on this floor, they’re concentrated in the north."

Han Fei and the others initially headed south and encountered nothing unusual, but when they started heading north on the floor, all sorts of bizarre things began to happen.

The Papermen originally staying inside their homes hid behind the door panels, peeking at Han Fei through the gap. It seemed like they all came alive the moment Han Fei made his decision, pointing and gesticulating at him.

Even though knowing they were Papermen, Han Fei still felt a delusion, as if he had returned to a day in reality when everyone regarded him as an outcast.

"Verbal violence is really scary, luckily I’ve gotten used to it."

In Han Fei’s mind, the fifty-first floor felt like a child’s playhouse, maybe the Divine Spirit only constructed this place as a toy for itself, coming over to play the family and friends game with Papermen whenever it wanted to experience certain emotions.

After crossing two corridors, just as Li Rou was about to move forward, a ball suddenly rolled out from a door.

The security door was opened, and a red-faced Little Fatty ran out, shyly picking up the ball. "Sorry..."

Before he could finish apologizing, Little Fatty saw the menacing Big Evil, and he froze in place, wetting a large patch of his pants.

"Why is there a kid on the Papermen’s floor?"

"Don’t drop your guard!" Ji Zheng took out his camera and took a picture. Little Fatty’s figure was pierced by two completely different colored strings of fate, one pitch black like ink, the other crimson like blood. "This kid seems to be Extreme Authority!"

Along with Ji Zheng’s warning, Little Fatty’s scream also rang out. He was so scared that he sat on the ground, shouting for his mom and dad.

The imposing security door was fully pushed open, and two papier-mâché Monsters crawled out.

The mom looked like a centipede with a hundred tiny claws, crawling with a twisting body, her mouth continuously cursing and laying a Spell on someone.

The dad was a one-legged, yet muscular like a Monster, dropping a lot of black paper scraps every time he jumped.

"This kid seems to be a childhood playmate of a Divine Spirit. As one of the Divine Spirit’s friends, that Divine Spirit killed his parents, turning him into someone like itself." Ji Zheng seemed to have heard this Little Fatty’s story before. "All the Papermen on the fifty-first floor seem to be heading this way, don’t linger on him, there’s no point."

Han Fei nodded and signaled everyone to stay close to Big Evil. "Charge through! Find the Grave House first!"

The wound on Big Evil’s head had already healed, and everyone ignored Little Fatty, charging north with all their might.

Ignored, Little Fatty cried even louder in his place, as one Paperman after another emerged from the rooms, watching Han Fei’s departure and their facial features gradually starting to change.

Some slowly began to resemble Ji Zheng, others started to grow more and more like Mr. Mo, but the majority of Papermen started to have features similar to Han Fei.

Tears fell down his cheeks, Little Fatty raised his head slowly, his face was full of tears, but the corners of his mouth tugged to the sides, revealing uneven teeth.

"Mom, Dad, I don’t want a birthday gift anymore. I want you to kill him for me."

The mother made of Papermen cursed at the boy, and the one-legged father didn’t move either. The two family members that looked most like Monsters wanted the boy to change his mind, but the seemingly most normal boy had a sinister expression. "My best friend said you will definitely fulfill my wish!"

He took out a seemingly ordinary card from his pocket. The pattern on it was a Club K.

"Kill him! Just like you ran over that pedestrian with the car before! Kill him!"

Little Fatty’s emotions grew more intense. He twisted the Club K and covered his brain while repeatedly ordering his parents.

His mind seemed to have been damaged a long time ago, and only like this could he become a friend of the Divine Spirit.

The secrets that shouldn’t be spoken of were all revealed by Little Fatty, making the Paperman parents lose their rationality. They turned around, wanting to chase Han Fei, but at that moment, on the fifty-first floor, an extremely dissonant footstep sound rang out.

Wherever the footsteps passed, all Papermen, who had morphed into Han Fei’s appearance, were mercilessly torn apart, as a crazed woman came following.

The black fire of Hatred spread, and Little Fatty’s body trembled slightly. He truly felt fear.

The expression on his face started to contort. He sat on the ground, loudly calling out his best friend’s name: "Gao Xing! I’ve done as you said! Help me! Please help me!"

The best friend didn’t appear, but the parents who had long become Monsters returned, standing on either side of Little Fatty.
