Li Chen walked over, and then Lin Xiaoxiao had him start arranging the clothes on display.

Upon that smile, the student was momentarily stunned. This girl was really pretty.

"Rented to you, huh." The student chuckled, "Actually, I was thinking of renting this shop too, but since you’ve rented it, I guess I’ll let it go."

"Thank you so much," Lin Xiaoxiao smiled again, then resumed her busy work.

"Let me help," the student also started assisting and simultaneously asked, "Which department are you from?"

Damn, hitting on my sister-in-law right in front of me? And completely ignoring me?

"Buddy, we don’t need your help here for now," Li Chen said with a smile.

The man turned around, saw it was Li Chen, and instantly changed his tone, "Whoever you are, you had better stay away when I’m talking to the junior."

The man harshly said, "Kid, let me tell you, you’d better disappear from my sight right now, or I’ll make you regret it!"

Li Chen shook his index finger, "No, you’re wrong there. First, I’m already quite handsome, girls flock to me. Seeing Li Chen standing beside him, the man’s expression turned solemn. It shouldn’t be, he was about to grab him, so why did he miss every time? It made no sense.

"I’m right here," Li Chen chuckled, seeing the man trying to grab him again, he casually dodged the attack.

Li Chen did not counterattack but continually lured the man to keep attacking, never allowing him to touch him, as if he was deliberately playing with him.

After a few minutes, the man was already sweating profusely, yet he hadn’t even touched Li Chen’s clothes.

"Turns out you’re not just simplistic in limbs but also all show and no use, huh? Tired out so soon?" Li Chen taunted.

Hearing Li Chen’s provoking words, the man roared again, then continued to reach for Li Chen.

This time, Li Chen didn’t move away, letting the man grab his shoulders, then with a light move, he broke free again.

"Keep it up, you’re almost there."

Watching the two chase each other outside the shop, Lin Xiaoxiao sighed and quietly arranged the clothes.

Meanwhile, other bystanders, the passing students, couldn’t help but look over several times, thinking these two must be mad.

Every time, Li Chen allowed his opponent to nearly catch him, maintaining an incredibly subtle distance. Ultimately, the man was panting heavily, hands propped on his knees, too tired to run anymore.

The man pointed at Li Chen furiously and said.

"Got it," the man said viciously, then turned and walked away.

Watching the man leave, Li Chen burst into laughter, and at that moment, Lin Xiaoxiao had also finished her task.

"Xiaoxiao, I’m heading out now." Seeing that he had successfully made it through Lin Xiaoxiao’s busy time, he prepared to leave.

Avoiding the fate of becoming Lin Xiaoxiao’s unpaid labor brought Li Chen a great sense of relief.
