Chapter 625: Chapter 400: Tier-6 Poisonous Fog_2

Owen Bertram moved toward the lake, spreading his mind over the entire lake bed, quickly finding the rubble. Now, he didn’t need to use his brother to dig laboriously. As his mind stirred, he activated the "Earth-Origin-Extreme" ability he had acquired during the time of the Dawn Realm, and the earth automatically expelled the remnants.

Then amidst the thunderous sound of water, those colossal vestiges rose to the sky. Indeed, they were ruins of ancient warships, but Owen didn’t need his brother’s "personal" appraisal to see that they were not pieces of the Five-toothed Battleship.

Back in those days, other fleets had participated in the battle.

Owen discreetly asked his brother, "Want to eat?"

Little Loach hadn’t finished digesting the benefits from last time. He languidly rolled his eyes at his elder brother, "This thing is a bunch of junk! Brother, I have to say, you need to shake off your old-fashioned thinking. Our family isn’t the broke and fallen one from Extinct Village anymore. Don’t try to fob me off with this stuff."

This statement was so reasonable that his elder brother had no way to refute it!

Owen, after being pummeled by his younger brother’s words, grumpily threw the bits of junk back into the water. He clapped his hands and climbed onto Magpie’s back, "Let’s move on."

Magpie hesitated, its eyes dissecting the Demon Tiger Dragon Fish: aren’t they taking the prey?

It turned out that Owen wasn’t too interested in this Tier-5 monster anymore. More tragically, the Demon Tiger Dragon Fish was deeply despondent: what in heavens was stirring? You stormed over, instructed your minion to severely injure me, all just to glance at those remnants?

Since my memory had formed, that junk had been my night pot, alright? If you wanted to see, you could’ve just said so! I’d let you observe how to use a night pot if that’s what you wanted.

Then you just left without taking anything?! Isn’t this an injustice...

Owen thought for a moment, could not waste it after all, so he gave instructions: "Dave, it’s all yours."

"Thank you, master!" Little Ghost Dave was overjoyed. He pounced on the Demon Tiger Dragon Fish, and within an instant, the Tier-5 monster had become a dry corpse.

Little Ghost Dave, stuffed to the brim, teetered like a drunk, staggered, then dove headfirst into Big Sister’s feathers, snoring away in sleep.

Magpie once again soared into the sky, heading for the next location.

This place was a chaotic rocky beach. Owen, landing amidst the rocks, noticed that it was the result from collapsed mountains years ago. Fragments of metal mixed with rocks were scattered everywhere. Over the long stretch of time, these metal fragments had severely corroded turning into large dark red boulders spread among the forests.

Owen stood among the random stones, his thoughts in motion, the rusted fragments all hovered into the air. Simultaneously in his mind, he called upon Little Loach. Popping its head out of the gourd, two faintly golden whiskers fell from its mouth. It sleepily sniffed and told its elder brother: This time is it. There’s more underneath, so you search slowly. I’m going back to sleep for a bit.

Owen’s spirits lifted. He flipped his palm taking out Harrison Ainsworth’s Fiddle. Gently plucking the strings, invisible ripples spread into the ground. Then, they rebounded, revealing in clear detail everything within a thousand feet beneath the surface.

But because there were so many fragments from the Five-toothed Battleship, Owen, impatient, didn’t feel like doing it himself. Thus, he had a brainwave, extracting the brocade pouch gifted by Harrison Ainsworth and scattered its contents: "Bean Soldiers!"

One by one, mechanical puppets landed and started diligent archeological excavation following Owen’s thoughts.

Owen leisurely laid on a large rock at the side, looking at the white clouds drifting by, feeling quite at ease. Suddenly a strong warm current came from Little Loach’s side...

The Second Brother had completed his digestion.

Owen cultivated using this warm current, also drawing on a portion of Harrison Ainsworth’s cultivation that Master Lane had sealed. The two combined easily brought him close to the threshold of the First Honor.

But he dared not breach it rashly. The Sixth Great Realm was of no small significance, and Owen felt his mental state becoming slightly restless. A hasty breakthrough could easily lead to demons attacking his mind.

"I still need to settle down for a bit more at this level."

Then Little Loach sent over another slightly smaller warm current, flowing directly into Owen’s mind and unfolding the "Spirit Seed Gathering Dragon Skill." This skill turned out to be incredibly advanced, being both a powerful Divine Skill and actually, a method of cultivation.

Originally, those whiskers in the waterway, like the umbrellas of Dandelions, could parasitise the bodies of living creatures and transform them into puppets. Together with the previous "Spirit Puppet Skill" and the dragon-raising method pieced together from the huge egg, it ultimately merged into this "Spirit Seed Gathering Dragon Skill." It gave birth to Spirit Seeds itself, which parasitised all kinds of powerful living creatures. The cultivation of these puppet creatures was all for the nurturing of the original body. Ultimately, they allowed the original body to reap the benefits. Relying on these gathered cultivations, one could reach a horrifying level.

What’s more important was that the "Dragon" in the "Spirit Seed Gathering Dragon Skill" was a reference, representing a very high level of life form. Human Race could cultivate this technique, and the final result could be the peak of the Ninth Realm. The Demon Clan could cultivate it, and in the end, they could possibly become a Great Sage of the Demon Clan. Even monsters can cultivate it, and in the end, they could truly transform into a divine dragon!

The more puppet parasites, the faster the rate of cultivation. The original body didn’t need to cultivate realms, they just needed to constantly strengthen their "Spirit Seed Gathering Dragon Skill," to control as many puppets as possible.

If the cultivation of the "Spirit Seed Gathering Dragon Skill" couldn’t keep up, then the consequences would be very dangerous. They might go crazy, unable to distinguish the difference between themselves and the puppets, ultimately falling into demonic madness.
