My Dear Duke(BL) -
Chapter 47: Felix
Chapter 47: Felix
Felix had a tense expression even until the moment he left. Asher was worried about him as it was obvious something was wrong. He tried to ask the duke but all he got were just head shakes trying to say it’s all fine.
’It’s definitely not fine...’
Asher watched the duke leaving the room in the early hours of the night.
He said he was going to the dinner, but Asher felt like watching this man go to a...war.
Why was he so stiff and tense? He looked uncomfortable.
Asher even had to make sure the duke was not sick because it looked like that.
"Asher, I am going to dinner. I will send you a meal to the room. So wait a little and don’t worry I won’t starve you here."
Asher felt ridiculous that this was what he had to say before leaving. Why was he even worrying about a meal?
"Thank you duke. Have a nice dinner. I will wait."
Then he watched the duke leave alone.
’Now he acts all expressionless again.’
Even facing his back, Asher would imagine the duke’s tough face.
It was now becoming a funny topic to him after seeing his handsome face making much better expressions no one had ever seen before maybe.
’He can look very sexy...’
Asher walked to the bed while hitting his head thinking how he had become horny for the duke even without getting any heats or nowhere near to a heat.
’It’s again boring here. I guess visiting another empire meant having to go to fancy meals with royals...It must be a good experience...’
Asher didn’t think it was totally the opposite.
....
’Ugh! So loud.’.
Felix blankly just stared at the candles lit on the empty big table that was already half filled with the guests, sitting around.
Everyone seemed as young as him and all of them were laughing, gossiping and chatting. But he stayed away in silence which he absolutely preferred.
"Hello there. This is Sir Felix from the Starglade, right?"
Felix heard the young man next to him asking him in a very respectful manner.
"Yes, this is...?"
Felix asked politely when he noticed the young man seemed nice. He had dark long hair that was styled with a hairpin that had a big sun.
He already guessed but he still asked.
"I am from the Whisperwood Empire. I remember talking with sir Felix at your emperor’s birthday ball once."
"Yes. I also remember. So has it been some days since the prince arrived here?"
"No...I just arrived yesterday."
"I see..."
Then suddenly, everyone went silent and the big door of the dining room was pulled open. There stood the third prince with a welcoming smile.
"Welcome everyone. I want to hold this feast to use this as a chance to make our bonds strong and get along. So enjoy to your heart’s content!"
The third prince announced as he came to his reserved seat and ordered the servants to start serving.
Felix talked with the kind prince next to him from time to time as they sipped on a glass of wine. Then, everyone had their meals served and it was pretty standard. Until... the desserts ended and the special wine party began...
’Wine party? There was nothing like that mentioned in the letter.’
Felix thought but was quite taken aback as the prince of Whisperwood approached him to talk about this.
"When I knew there was a wine party I was very excited. You know what? They have very rare alcohol in here. Made by the locals. We can’t really get to taste them unless we come here."
The young man said excitedly as he grabbed a full wine cup and gulped it down.
"How did the prince know there will be a wine party?"
"The invitation letter had it mentioned. Didn’t sir read through? I guess you missed it sir."
Felix was sure he didn’t miss it. He unknowingly raised his eyes and turned toward the third prince but only to meet his eyes.
’I don’t believe he did it on purpose. That’s very unprofessional.’
Felix didn’t touch any more wine. He was afraid he might get drunk. He wants to leave but the doors were closed. If he need to go he would need permission, and that would only be given by the third prince since he organised this.
What else was he panning?
"And my friends...I have a special gift for you. Enjoy everything. Cause you might never get the chance!"
Everyone excitedly looked at the prince. Then they followed his eyes and turned to see the big door opening and a group of young women in revealing clothes entering the dining room.
"Wwoooo!"
Everyone cheered as the women went to the men in the dining room and sat on their laps, touching them, sniffing and kissing them.
’This is the worst dinner I had ever participated.’
Felix felt disgusted about the whole thing and was done with all of this.
He wanted to leave.
A woman came to him and tried touching him but he glared fiercly at her which scared her. She immediately flew away to another man who generously accepted her.
Felix knew soon these people would be leaving to their own rooms with those women. He just had to wait until then because he didn’t want to be the first.
He hated attention.
He boredly waited and the prince from Whisperwood who also refused the women, engaged in a conversation with Felix.
After a while, finally! The door was opened and many of the drunk men walked to their rooms with young women in their arms.
Felix felt all of these seemed to be wrong. Even though these men were young, that didn’t mean they didn’t have lovers or wives. They were there enjoying the touch of foreign womens when their loved one could be waiting for them to come back.
The Whisperwood prince also seemed to disapprove of this. He had high expectation for the wines but not for this one. However, no one commented anything.
Felix and the prince left the dining room together. Thankfully, the third prince didn’t approach Felix and he was busy kissing a woman that came.
’It’s good I don’t have to talk with him.’
Felix was relieved. He went on seperate ways from the prince and finally stood in front of his door, calling for Asher.
Quickly, the door was opened and there popped up Asher smiling.
"You are back duke!"
He looked excited and Felix was in a good mood all of a sudden.
"Did you get your meal?"
Felix asked Asher as he undressed the heavy clothing to change into comfortable nightwear.
"Yes duke, it was heavenly. I had never had such a good meal before."
Asher said happily recalling the tastes still lingering around. It was indeed the most delicious meal he ever had.
Felix, no matter how he was stressed he still remembered Asher. He made sure to inform a maid to deliver a plate full of all the goods to his room for his servant. It seemed like the maid had done her job.
"It’s good to hear. You will get to taste them more while you are here."
Both Asher and Felix talked about the meal before both of them lay on the bed to sleep.
Felix wasn’t drunk but he did drink around two glasses which made him slightly drowsy. So he fell asleep quickly. And Asher...no words he just fell asleep. He fall asleep even if he just close his eyes for a moment.
Asher actually tried to sleep on the ground but the duke convinced him to sleep on the bed. Asher felt wrong to sleep there even though the bed was big enough for three people. He was just not that suitable for such a comfy bed.
But...sleeping on it was such an experience. So comfortable he could sleep forever...
...
"We could rest today here or go for a walk. The festival starts tomorrow. We will have to attend the evey event from then on so it will be restless for a while."
The next day, Felix said as he took a bath in the morning and feeling quite refreshed. They would have to participate to witness the festival that would be held for straight 15 days.
Day and night...no breaks.
This festival was held to celebrate the creation of their empire. They held different kind of competitions, night parties and balls, then feasts and it goes on and on.
It would definitely be a remarkable experience.
Asher was ready to go wherever the duke would go.
Knock knock knock!
Both Asher and Felix were quite surprised by the knock on their door in the morning and Asher quickly went to see who it was.
There stood a handsome young man with dark long hair, his dark eyes curving as he smiled. There was another man behind him who must be his personal servant.
Seeing Asher opening the door, the handsome man came forward to talk.
’Wow! He is so handsome.’
Asher was dazed looking at the man in front of him and felt ’handsome’ wasn’t even the right word. He was...stunning.
"This is sir Felix’s room right?"
Asher was taken aback a little. Felix? Who is Felix?
Asher looked at the duke and informed him there was a noble man there looking for sir Felix.
Then Asher watched the duke walking toward them and greeting the man.
"Greeting the prince. Why are you looking for me?"
Felix asked and Asher backed down leaving the duke to continue the conversation there as that prince didn’t want to come in and just wanted to talk there.
’So he is Felix. I have been calling him duke and didn’t even know his name.’
