My Co-renting Lady Boss
Chapter 30 - 0030: How Did He Wake Up?

Chapter 30: Chapter 0030: How Did He Wake Up?

"What!"

The spectators were immediately shocked, being able to hold the stick with one hand—that Tang Ming’s martial force was too fierce.

"Shit, let go of it."

Ma Gangqiang couldn’t pull the stick free at all. Now he realized Tang Ming’s prowess and began to bellow.

"Oh, okay!"

Tang Ming released it promptly, spun around quickly, and kicked out with one foot straight into Ma Gangqiang’s chest. He sent him flying several meters back, and he landed hard on the ground.

This guy was indeed a Martial Artist, his physical condition was naturally strong, and Tang Ming naturally showed no mercy when striking.

Ma Gangqiang lay on the ground, his chest painfully throbbing, completely unable to get up. On the side, Liu Mengting watched with great excitement: "Ma Gangqiang, see, I told you, I was afraid you’d get beaten!"

"Fuck, Tang Ming, you’re ballsy. Wait for me."

Ma Gangqiang yelled at his lackeys, "What are you standing there for, help me up."

"Oh."

The stunned students of Class Nine hurriedly lifted Ma Gangqiang up.

"Tang Ming, he wants to take revenge on you. Why don’t you send him to the hospital? That way, it won’t delay any time after school tomorrow!"

Liu Mengting despised Ma Gangqiang who scorned her, truly, never offend a woman!

"Oh, good idea!"

Tang Ming smiled and nodded, ready to continue dealing with Ma Gangqiang.

However, at this moment, someone suddenly came from behind, placed a hand on Tang Ming’s shoulder, and spoke, "Tang Ming, everyone’s a student here, don’t be too harsh on the other party. It wouldn’t be nice to really send him to the hospital."

Tang Ming recognized the familiar voice, turned his head, and blinked, "Big Brother Liu Fei, what are you doing here?"

"I’m here to pick you and Meng Ting up, and happened to witness this. Let’s be merciful where we can, that student’s family background isn’t less significant than Mr. Liu’s."

Liu Fei, dressed in a suit, looked polite and dignified, causing many girls to start whispering among themselves.

Such a man in his thirties, dressed properly and extremely handsome, naturally made many young girls fall for him at first sight.

"Aren’t you gone yet?"

Tang Ming stopped, glared at Ma Gangqiang, and bellowed.

Though Ma Gangqiang felt deeply humiliated this time, he knew Tang Ming’s ferocity, and with a face full of resentment, he called people to support him and walked away.

The surrounding students, now spectators, looked at Tang Ming with a mix of reverence and awe. Being able to bully the school tyrant so badly signified a new school tyrant in the making! Seeing that the show was over, they quickly dispersed, not wanting to get involved in trouble.

"Big Brother Liu Fei, let’s go," Tang Ming said and followed Liu Fei, with Liu Mengting pursing her lips unhappily by his side.

"Such a waste of time, damn Tang Ming, not even an apology, it’s infuriating."

Liu Mengting stamped her foot and followed.

The two of them got into Liu Fei’s car and then sped off, hurtling down the road ahead.

"Tang Ming, I didn’t see it coming, but you actually beat Ma Gangqiang."

Liu Fei asked while driving.

"Oh, if it wasn’t for worrying about the young lady losing money, I would have killed him!"

Tang Ming said nonchalantly.

"..."

Liu Fei smacked his lips. The guy Mr. Liu hired was indeed something.

"Bragging is easy!"

Liu Mengting snorted and stared sulkingly out of the window.

The atmosphere inside the car suddenly became very quiet. Liu Fei couldn’t help but laugh and cry as he casually turned on the radio: "During rush hour, turn on the radio to hear the traffic news."

"Next, we will report the road conditions from our station’s traffic observer. Due to the rush hour, there are three consecutive collisions at the intersections of City South Avenue, Wuxin Avenue, and Chuansi Avenue, causing severe congestion! It’s best for drivers to avoid these three roads and take an alternative route!"

A woman’s voice sounded from the radio.

"Ah, City South Avenue is jammed, really, it’s all your fault, Tang Ming, for dilly-dallying. Would there have been any problem if we had left earlier?"

Liu Mengting said discontentedly.

"Let’s take a back road then, although it’s a bit further, it’s better than being stuck here."

With no other option, Liu Fei smiled resignedly and turned into a backroad while passing an intersection.

This was a narrow two-lane road, and not far along, they discovered a truck unloading goods up ahead.

Liu Fei drove up, stopped the car, and honked several times, but no one came to respond.

"It’s blocked here too, I’ll get out and see when they will be done!"

After Liu Fei spoke, he unbuckled his seatbelt, opened the door, and got out.

As soon as he opened the door, several figures darted out from the side, their faces covered, they pulled the trigger on cans that resembled soda cans, and then threw them directly into the car.

Liu Mengting and Tang Ming were both startled and hurriedly looked outside, only to see Liu Fei being assaulted from behind by one of the masked men with a cloth over his mouth, struggling for a few moments before losing consciousness.

"Robbery!"

Tang Ming muttered under his breath, but the car was filled with smoke, and he could no longer see the situation outside.

"Tang Ming..."

Liu Mengting reached for the door handle, but she collapsed onto the car seat after calling out.

"Meng Ting, how are you doing?"

Tang Ming turned his head and touched Liu Mengting a few times, but she had obviously passed out, showing no response.

"Those guys are outside, and we don’t even know how many there are. It might be best to pretend to be unconscious and wait to see what they want to do!"

Tang Ming wasn’t in a rush. He felt something was off, so he lay back in the seat and feigned unconsciousness, not moving an inch:

"Ah, I’ve passed out..."

Half a minute later, most of the smoke had dissipated, and five men in masks rushed over.

Tang Ming eyed their movements from the corner of his eye. He could see that they were armed with iron rods and machetes, their faces covered with masks.

A skinny young man slowly approached the car with a machete in hand, peered inside, and suddenly shouted in excitement, "Brother Cannon, they’ve all fainted."

"Get the people out."

A burly man commanded from behind.

The skinny man placed his machete on the car’s hood, then reached in to drag Tang Ming from the passenger seat.

But suddenly, Tang Ming opened his eyes and stared straight at him. The skinny man jumped back in fright, shouting, "He’s, awake!"

"Right."

Tang Ming grinned, grabbed the skinny man’s head, and slammed it against the car door frame, knocking him unconscious with a loud thud.

Tang Ming pushed his body aside and slowly walked out from the car, standing beside the car front, facing the remaining four men, and asked, "Thinking of robbing us?"

"Damn, this guy hasn’t fainted. Get rid of him."

The burly man known as Brother Cannon pointed, and the three men with him slowly approached Tang Ming, weapons in hand.

These men wore masks and looked vicious, clearly not the kind of people you would compare with students from Tianjiao High School; they were seasoned criminals, likely with serious crimes under their belts, highlighting their ruthlessness. Tang Ming also became alert, his vigilance heightened.

Although he was alert, his mood was rather relaxed. If Tang Ming could easily handle terrorists, he wasn’t about to fear these petty thieves.

Moreover, he was urgently in need of something, the very same thing these robbers were after—money!
