"Meng Meng, why did your driver get out and then disappear?"

Li Xiaoli put away her phone, asking with confusion.

"Didn’t you hear? He was arguing with someone behind us, probably about who’s at fault."

Liu Mengting took off her headphones and pointed outside.

"Meng Meng, the driver, he’s been beaten by their people."

Li Xiaoli suddenly shouted, panicked, pointing at the driver lying on the ground outside.

Liu Mengting yelled out to the men outside, "Stop smashing the car! Who’s at fault isn’t even clear yet. We were just parked here; you hit us. Besides, you’ve knocked my driver unconscious, you should be the ones paying!"

"Enough talking, come out and settle this, or else we’ll come in and mess things up," the big man outside yelled.

"Yeah, you two girls come down and pay for the damage quickly, or soon you might need to compensate in other ways," the large men outside jeered, their actual intent being to force Liu Mengting and Li Xiaoli out of their car so they could abduct them.

Liu Mengting and Li Xiaoli, sitting in the car, were too terrified to come out, but the impatient men below had already had enough. The bearded veteran, an old hand in such matters, noticed that dragging on only decreased their chances of success. After a brief thought, he barked decisively, "If they won’t come out, we’ll just go in and discuss it with them."

No sooner had he spoken than the bearded man led the charge. His rough hands directly pulled open the driver’s door and climbed into the car. The driver had left the door unlocked and failed to remove the keys, making it easy for the bearded man to get in.

Inside the rear of the vehicle, Liu Mengting and Li Xiaoli were now completely terrified; the two clung to each other, shocked that these aggressive people dared to board their vehicle!

"Don’t start anything, we will pay whatever amount, but you need to get out of the car first!"

the bearded man said coldly.

The sleazy man chuckled, "Don’t worry, big brother, I won’t mess around."

After saying that, the bearded man twisted the key and stepped on the gas to start the minivan.

The sleazy man smiled as he closed the car door, while Liu Mengting hurriedly said:

"Why are you taking our car? Where are you taking us? Stop the car!"

Li Xiaoli also started shouting, "Stop the car now, or we’ll call the police."

As she spoke, Li Xiaoli remembered her phone and quickly took it out of her pocket.

The bearded man, looking through the rearview mirror, chuckled coldly, "Call the police?"
