The old lady’s scolding made the butler burst into laughter.

The old lady shot the butler a brutal glance and asked, discontentedly, "What are you laughing at?"

The butler quickly shook his head. "Nothing, nothing."

The butler secretly sighed: Old lady, if you won’t let your grandson and granddaughter-in-law fool around, should they fool around with strangers instead? You resent your granddaughter-in-law and grandson’s foibles, would you prefer she acted that way with another man?

The old lady used her walking stick to enter the elevator and went upstairs.

"Shut up!" He silenced her with his fingers on her lips.

"Mmm..." All of Lin Xiangwan’s protests were stifled by him.

Meanwhile, the old lady outside the door gave them no opportunity at all. The knocking sound resumed. "Come out quickly! What’s happening? What if there is some sort of danger? Xiaochen, hurry up and send a message to the security, let them come up and fix this!"

Qin Muchuan finally conceded, left the bed, and opened the door while wearing only a bathrobe.

He looked out the crack in the doorway at the lively old lady. His tousled and slightly damp hair is a stark contrast to her radiant look. He asked. "Grandma, seems like you have some free time today?"

Seeing that her grandson looked alright and hadn’t been overworked to death, the old lady took a breath of relief. "Shouldn’t I? Shouldn’t I have some free time? On this rare Sunday, I thought you both would stay home with me. But you two have been ’studying’ in the room non-stop. What do you really want? You two have been in the room since afternoon and never came out!"

"Wait a bit, I’ll be with you later!"

"And still making me wait? Aren’t you afraid of starving yourself? Hurry up and come down, did you hear?" The old lady spoke really earnestly!

This time, Qin Muchuan sensed that his grandma was not happy but couldn’t help it, he had to curb his wilfulness. "Alright, I’ll take a quick shower and get dressed up now!"

The old lady took a glance at her wristwatch. "I’m giving you ten minutes, if you don’t come downstairs, I’ll come up again!"

The old lady gave an amused smile. "This is something to thank your filial piety for. It was you who installed this lift in our house. If you hadn’t installed this lift, it wouldn’t be so convenient for me to go up and down!"

A loud bang was heard as the door closed.

Qin Muchuan scratched his head and shook it. "This is exasperating!"

Lin Xiangwan forced herself to sit up and leaned against the head of the bed. "Take a quick shower and go down for dinner!"

Qin Muchuan sat down on the edge of the bed and kissed her lips. "Let’s go downstairs together!"

Seeing her weary demeanor, Qin Muchuan felt sorry for her. Yet every time he was with her, he found it impossible to resist her allure.

Also, recently at his grandma’s place, she was often kept up at night conversing with the old lady, leaving him with little chance to spend time with her.

"Yeah, you should know! You’re the worst!" Lin Xiangwan angrily punched him. Now the smell and taste in her mouth and stomach were unpleasant.

If she could, she really wanted to gargle and brush her teeth, but she was so tired, she didn’t want to move a bit.

"Am I bad? Then why were you saying that you liked me and loved me just now!"

Lin Xiangwan gave him a cold look. "I was just fooling you to make you happy. Do you believe in pillow talk? Most of it is just to humor you!"
