He looked at Ji Sen, raised his bottle of wine, and purposely poured a glass for Ji Sen.

Then he filled her glass, now half-empty, raised it, and said, "Ji Sen, I toast to you and thank you for looking after my wife all these years. Without your care, where could I find such a wonderful wife!"

Ji Sen was furious, yet he had to raise his glass. "You’re welcome, but... it doesn’t necessarily mean I was protecting her for you. If Xiangwan doesn’t want to be with you in future and wants to return to me, her brother’s embrace, then it means I was taking care of her for myself, and it would have nothing to do with you!"
