Chapter 250: Chapter 250: You Don’t Deserve My Apology

Ashton was informed the moment Stephanie and Kane arrived at Phoenix International. He quickly let the lobby manager know so they wouldn’t be stopped at the entrance.

Phoenix International was a luxury club. Without a membership, no one could get in. The revolving restaurant on the top floor was even stricter. Regular people weren’t allowed, and meals there cost around 100 thousand dollars per person.

The lobby manager personally took Stephanie and Kane to the top floor.

"Would you like to dine in the lobby or in a private room?" he asked politely. He already knew they were the prince and princess of the Wilson Group, so he treated them with extra care.

Kane looked around. He then glanced at Stephanie. Daniel and Chantelle weren’t there.

"We’ll take the private room," Stephanie replied.

The manager nodded with a small smile. She’s really mature for her age, he thought.

"Steph, the vanilla ice cream here is amazing. I’ll order one for you," Kane said, drooling over the menu.

"All you think about is food. Hurry up and find out which room that scumbag is in."

"Tomato sauce meatballs, beef tenderloin with mushroom risotto, spaghetti bolognese, grilled deep-sea cod..." Kane was too busy placing orders.

Stephanie shot him an angry glare. The waiter brought over a few appetizers. They looked so good and her stomach almost growled.

"Steph, let’s eat first. This place is even better than a five-star restaurant," Kane said as he handed her a dessert plate.

Stephanie took a small bite, even though she didn’t want to. To her surprise; it was delicious!

Daniel had brought Kane here several times before, so Ashton already knew what Kane liked to eat. That’s why he asked the chefs to prepare all of Kane’s favorite dishes.

In no time, the table was filled with mouthwatering food. Stephanie didn’t get a chance to sneak out before everything was served.

Kane grinned proudly. He knew this place only allowed members. That meant Daddy already knew they were here. Otherwise, the lobby manager wouldn’t have treated them so nicely.

Daddy would definitely show up soon. There was no need for Stephanie to snoop around.

Besides, Mommy was still mad at Daddy. If Steph saw them fighting, she might just make things worse.

Meanwhile, Chantelle looked at the man in the other private room.

She couldn’t remember where she had seen him before. But she didn’t really care.

She was more focused on Camille, who was sitting next to the man.

Camille looked like she was behaving, but Chantelle caught the deadly glare she threw her way.

"Mr. Nelsen, nice to meet you."

Chantelle gave a small nod, then calmly took a seat across from them.

"Ms. Chantelle, you’re a smart and capable woman. I really admire you," Rowan said.

Chantelle couldn’t tell if he was being sincere or just mocking her. She wasn’t sure what his real intentions were.

"Mr. Nelsen, thank you for the kind words," she replied in a confident tone and a slight smile appeared at the corner of her lips.

The Nelsen family had gotten involved in checking her charity group. But after the investigation, it was confirmed that everything was legal and above board.

In fact, because Camille caused a scene, the charity ended up gaining more attention. A small part of Chantelle actually felt like thanking her.

Rowan’s business wasn’t hurt much, thanks to the Nelsen family’s support. Still, they couldn’t afford to upset the Wilson family.

If things really went wrong, both Rowan and Camille would be scolded by their elders.

"Mr. Nelsen, you said you brought Camille here to apologize to me," Chantelle said as she shifted her eyes to Camille and looked her up and down.

She gave Camille a look that clearly challenged her, which only made Camille angrier.

"You don’t deserve my apology! Bitch, I’m not scared of you, even if Daniel protects you! I won’t stop until you’re hurt!" Camille blurted out sharply, unable to hide her rage anymore.

Rowan was shocked. It was the first time he had seen her act like this, and he couldn’t believe it.

After reuniting with his sister, he had noticed her proud and childish manners but he never thought she’d curse and act like this in front of others.

"Camille..." Rowan tried to stop her, but Chantelle cut in.

"It’s not like I begged Daniel to protect me," Chantelle said with a sigh. She knew exactly how to get under Camille’s skin because Daniel was her biggest weakness.

"You’re just some nobody from the countryside. Everyone knows you threw yourself at Daniel. Do you really think he cares about you?" Camille hurled an insult as she stood up with a glass of wine, ready to throw it at Chantelle.

Rowan’s face darkened. He grabbed Camille’s wrist, clearly annoyed.

He was raised in a wealthy, well-mannered family. Even their servants knew how to act properly. What Camille was doing right now was beyond embarrassing.

"Ms. Nelsen, I heard you’ve been having stomach pains. Maybe that’s why you’re in a bad mood? I’m sure it’s even worse when someone pushes your limits. But please, calm down. You don’t need to lower yourself by arguing with someone like her," Anthony said gently.

He was always Camille’s partner in these games. Noticing that Rowan was clearly upset with her, he tried to step in before things got worse.

The two of them had played plenty of tricks in front of the Nelsen family.

Anthony twisted the situation so well, it looked like Chantelle was the one causing trouble.

He gave Camille a small signal, reminding her of their plan.

Camille quickly clutched her stomach and said, "Ro, I’m sorry. I haven’t been feeling well these days, and it’s making me lose my temper."

"I’m not the one you should be apologizing to," Rowan said firmly.

I’d rather die than say sorry to her!

"Ms. Chantelle, I know you hate me because of the marriage agreement with Daniel. But you’ve scolded me, hit me, ruined my name, and even got me arrested. Isn’t that enough? Do you want to destroy the Nelsen family’s name too before you stop?" Camille cried as she covered her face.

Rowan knew the truth, but Camille’s actions had already dragged their family’s name into the mess. His grandfather wanted him to speak up for the sake of their reputation.

He didn’t have much of a choice.

"Ro, if you still think I’m wrong, I’ll kneel and apologize to Ms. Chantelle right now," Camille sobbed dramatically after noticing Rowan wasn’t taking her side.
