Chapter 405: Chapter 153: Version Update, Pet Store_6

Third pet: Light Spirit Feather.

A must-have pet for fixed teams and lone wolf players, it can release a continuous healing light band connected to the target, like a mobile health pack. Healing skills have no cooldown, mainly consuming Qi-Blood to maintain, but Light Spirit Feather can automatically recover the consumed Qi Blood Energy.

The key point is, this is a flying pet, highly mobile, able to move through the battlefield and heal. It is recommended that melee players with conditions should definitely cultivate one.

The appearance of Light Spirit Feather also fills a shortcoming in our player faction, a high-level Light Spirit Feather can completely function as a healer, providing sustained combat endurance to the team.

If we’re talking about drawbacks, there’s only one: the price is too high, one Light Spirit Feather can buy three Fat Peaches.

Combat power: 2 stars (It’s absurd to choose Light Spirit Feather for combat, the combat power value can be ignored).

Function Assistance: 10 stars.

Economic benefit: 7 stars (Despite the high cultivation cost, it can save a lot on buying recovery potions from the mall).

Appearance: 8 stars.

Recommended groups: Fixed teams, guild warband, function assistance, melee faction (especially large teams, must equip several Light Spirit Feathers, forming a healer battalion).

Fourth pet: Colorful Fruit.

The only pet among the first batch of five types that has two cultivation modes.

They are Magic Color Fruit and Blood-colored Fruit, respectively increasing spiritual power strength and Qi Blood Strength.

Presumably you all have played games where weapon and equipment enchantments are common, you can understand Colorful Fruit as body enchantment, after fusion you can significantly enhance the primary attributes of the cultivation direction.

But that’s not the focus, the focus is that Colorful Fruit can help players absorb damage after fusion with the body.

It’s like significantly extending the length of the health bar, the functionality is strong, but the price is a bit high, the highest among the five pets, without any economic benefit.

Combat power: 0

Function Assistance: 10 stars.

Economic benefit: 0

Appearance: 1 star.

Recommended groups: Melee faction players (Blood-colored Fruit), Magic System, function assistance players (Magic Color Fruit).

Complaint: The price of 12,500 is too high, and that’s just the purchase price, later on, a large investment in sacrificial power cultivation is needed, akin to a swallowing gold beast, not recommended without gold mines, purely a negative economic return.

Fifth pet: Pollution.

The pet looks like a scorpion with magic patterns branded on its body, its ability is to release an area aura that causes continuous corrosive damage to all lives within the coverage area, the performance is a bit like Black Tide’s Plague Series Soldiers, having high defense and high health bar, can also be used as a tank.

I don’t recommend fixed teams, and solo players to use it, it’s meaningless from both the income and combat perspective.

It’s more suitable for large teams during war mode, serving collective damage, continuous damage, defense break, control battlefield, etc.

Combat power: 10 stars

Function assistance: 7 stars

Economic benefit: 0

Appearance: 2 stars.

Recommended groups: large guilds, large warbands.

Final summary.

Civilian player recommendation: Fat Peach, Treasure Hunting Mouse, Light Spirit Feather.

Pay-to-play player recommendation: Light Spirit Feather, Colorful Fruit.

Team mode recommendation: Light Spirit Feather, Pollution.

These are my detailed evaluations of pet functions this time, if anyone has other thoughts, feel free to leave a comment.

At the end of the post, here’s a small hint for everyone, after querying Guidance, I found out that the trait of "Gathering" can also be added to pet functions.

This means that the more players choose a pet, the stronger the extra enhancement effect from Gathering.

Comment section:

Floating Haid Leopard: As an Exploration Faction player, I instantly chose Treasure Hunting Mouse, Brother Hei Ye makes sense, with this pet, every step in future explorations is filled with anticipation, perhaps the chance to get rich will come. This is more than a pet; it’s like having God of Wealth with you.

Eight Branches and a Half: I announce the winner of the first pet evaluation contest, "Light Spirit Feather," this truly meets our player’s core needs; other pets are not as valuable to the entire player faction as Light Spirit Feather. Personally, I’m not interested in treasure hunting or finance management; I only know that during battles, Light Spirit Feather can heal me, improve my sustained combat ability, and save me a lot on potion expenses.

Last Freedom: Why isn’t there the combat-type pet I want, I want to raise one capable of group output, to work hard and earn sacrificial power for me while I remote control and direct it, where’s the promised lazy man’s gospel? (Chi Tu slams the desk.jpg).

Immortal Legend: Expenditures for sacrificial power keep increasing, my Star Vein Slot is almost unaffordable, everyone is now enhancing their strength, hardly any players give out sacrificial power, the current situation is that the official is tightly controlling sacrificial power output, players have nowhere to obtain extra sacrificial power for pet cultivation. My suggestion is to cultivate the finance-managing Fat Peach, everyone cultivate together to increase Fat Peach’s yield.

Divine King: Pollution is great, equipped with a negative aura, essential for team battles, everyone quickly cultivate, the more users the more intense the extra attribute enhancement effect, I strongly recommend everyone to have one, mainly because I want one.

Mou Xusheng: Here’s pointing out a mistake in Brother Hei Ye’s Strategy post, although Colorful Fruit is expensive, its value-for-money is not low; the damage absorption is essentially a special skill, plus attribute enhancement, I find it very suitable for lone wolf players, it greatly improves combat tolerance rate, but the price is indeed a bit high.

...

Players are having heated discussions on the forum about the newly launched pet functions.

It is clear that players are very interested in pet functions.

Pets can serve as companions, carry emotions, and provide various ability assists, having high practicality.

But players also have dissatisfaction.

For example, the setting mentioned in this update where purified free pets can be brought back to the Newbie Village space.

Players with Controlled Life Soul are delighted about this.

However, the problem is that this update does not include the resurrection setting for freely caught pets they want, meaning controlled-caught pets remain disposable, unlike growth pets which can be reused.

This leaves players who worked hard to catch free pets very disappointed.

It means good brothers in their hand may leave them at any time.

Additionally, there’s another function that consumes sacrificial power in the game, but the official has never opened up extra sacrificial power output features.

Players frequently protest over this issue in the forum, yet the official stubbornly refuses to increase sacrificial power output.

An heinous act that is disgraceful.

But aside from complaints, there isn’t any means for players to counter the official.

Gaming qualifications are hard to get; if they don’t play, there are others who will play.

In fact, players all understand, the Moon Eclipse Clan’s issuance of qualifications to outsiders is more like support, caring little for the foreign exchange revenue brought by other clans.

This leads to the complete disparity of speech power between players and official.

Besides complaints, there’s no other way.

And the official’s indifferent attitude towards players’ needs seems to say in their eyes:

Play if you want, quit if you don’t.
