Chapter 4404: Journey

Days passed quickly, and before I knew it, six and a half days had passed since I had woken up.

I have now recovered enough that I could use my peak strength, but if possible. I should have refrained from doing that.

It will delay my recovery.

It is the first day; I had to work up early. Every day for the past six days, I had slept for fourteen hours, while the sleep and healing formation healed me.

Now, I have healed enough, and it’s time to leave.

My abode had travelled a long way, but its speed couldn’t be compared to mine. If I were to travel by it to the village, it would take over two months.

I might have done that, but I have to be in the village as soon as possible.

If I miss the rift, I will have to wait for another three to four years before it appears again, and I will gather the data from it.

Which I cannot afford to do, even with all the amazing benefits this realm offers me.

I need to get out of here as soon as possible.

"Let’s leave," I said to myself and stepped out. Immediately appearing in a forest with greenery covered in dried red substance, which produces faint fire energy.

Though if one touches them, they will release the energy so powerful that it will turn even the sky sovereign to ashes.

The oldest of the three here does that to the Prime.

I had already collected quite a lot of wood when I was travelling to the Violet Crater. So, I didn’t have to stop to harvest more.

I could harvest it more, but there is no need. I may be a hoarder, but I know better than to disturb the balance of this unique ecosystem.

The trees are like these due to the powerful fire elemental crystal deep in the ground.

These plants learned to absorb it, and now there is a growing verdant forest of them. It is beautiful and peaceful until one touches the tree.

Due to the properties of the trees, it might seem like this place is barren, but far from it.

It has an above-average number of monsters, with the strongest one residing on the strongest tree. It is the reason why I didn’t take the few branches of it.

The monster is powerful, and I didn’t want to get entangled with it.

Right now, I didn’t even think about it, and kept a large distance from the monster.

Little over an hour later, I got out of the small forest and continued with the journey. I didn’t move fast, but not slow either.

My soul sense would move around me, looking for any threat. If the monster came too close, I would stop.

Hours passed, and before I knew it, it was evening.

Right now, I’m moving through the dark, avoiding the battle of powerful monsters in the sky where lightning and wind laws are clashing against each other.

It is a spectacular battle. If I had as much strength as those monsters, I wouldn’t have needed to run away from the host.

I might not have been able to defeat it, but I wouldn’t have needed to burn my blood to defend it. My energy would have been more than enough.

I pushed those thoughts and slowed down as I sensed the powerful monster.

The night is dangerous, and I need to be very careful. I didn’t forget how the host was able to sneak up on me. I don’t want such things to happen now.

Last time, I had survived. This time, I would not.

I moved carefully, avoiding the monsters and the battle as well as the traps. There are some traps, both dangerous and sneaky.

Like the ones that leave an invisible mark on one.

The person who places the mark would sense them if they got close enough. With the mark on them, hiding becomes nearly impossible, unless they remove the mark.

Minutes passed, and I suddenly stopped at the rose tree and carefully plucked the rose, which seemed to meld with the night.

It’s a good find. I had even taken one tree to plant in my core.

The water from these roses smells divine. Which might not seem like the care, seeing these roses are invisible at night, and didn’t produce the slightest smell.

Soon, its eight and I stopped before taking out the abode and entering inside.

Usually, I enter the abode at nine or ten, but I am sick and need a rest to recover quickly.

After I stepped inside, I quickly freshened up and walked into the kitchen, where I took out the stuff and started cooking.

An hour and three minutes later, I finished with a healthy disk.

I brought it to the dining table and began to eat it alone with my thoughts. It is painful, and despite doing it for years, it still bears unbearable pain now and then.

Today is one of those days.

I had somehow finished the meal and immediately entered my core. It is the only thing that makes me feel a little better, because I know I am not alone.

I am not talking about the bees and other monsters, but the teacher and the being.

I talked to the teacher now and then. I had talked to her two days ago when she had guided me on the problem I was having.

I miss the daily lessons with you, but nothing lasts forever.

I walked down the road, looking at the plants and monsters, before reaching the library.

When I stepped inside, I sat down and closed my eyes. I took a couple of breaths before focusing on my constitution, and soon, I was in a world of the law of healing.

I cannot practice my methods, but I can comprehend. I didn’t stop it and made good progress since I woke up.

I finished and rested, before working on my inheritance for three hours before coming out of my clone. It is a little early for me to sleep, but I need to sleep for my recovery.

So, a moment later, the tub appeared in front of me, and I stepped into dense blue liquid.

Buzz!

A few seconds after that, it buzzed as the formation activated. Seeing that, I closed my eyes, falling asleep a minute later.
