Chapter 4403: Awake

My eyes fluttered open, and the first thing I saw was the screens in front of me.

They are showing every kind of data, and a single glance told me not a single thing about the impending danger. It made me relieved.

I am feeling weak, but far better than I was when I stopped burning my blood.

"Three days," I said as I looked at the screen in front of me. It is easy to tell, based on the data in front of me. I am also not only out of the violet zone, but also far away from it.

The abode followed the instructions I had left behind and the orders my clone had given.

It made me relieved. I am temporarily out of danger, and till I recover enough to use my full strength, I won’t be leaving my abode.

A few seconds later, I closed my eyes and appeared in my core.

Once more, I am in front of tens of screens, but every one of these screens is showing the data about me, and seeing it, a smile couldn’t help but appear on my face.

"I am recovering quite fast," I said, looking at the data.

In a week to ten days, I would be able to recover enough to walk out of my abode. This is quite considering the amount of blood that had burned.

To fully recover, I would need two to three more weeks. Until then, I wouldn’t be able to practice my methods, not even garsonath.

It’s disappointing, but I’m also very happy.

I was able to escape from the jaws of death. If the monster hadn’t come on time, I would have been in a critical state. To recover from it, I would need at least months to recover.

Hell, there would have been death; there were very high chances of that.

Yes, I will miss the practice, but I am glad to be alive. Once I recover, I will have more than enough time to practice and do other things that I couldn’t right now.

With that thought, I turned to the screen.

More than half of it was so rare that Prime would fight to the death for it. However, the biggest part was played by the core of the man-eating plant.

I turned to it and saw it buried in the ground.

It had been a little more than four days since it had been here, which is around four weeks in here, and even now, it hadn’t finished the adjustment.

It will take another month of outside, around half a year of inside, before that happens.

It might seem like a lot of time, but it is fast for a plant like this. The plants are delicate, even the man eating one this one.

Though looking at the changes, it will happen. It will not die, that I am very sure.

My clones had made the preparations for it. It is growing in the best soil, which is mixed with cloud tar soil and planted with the plants it needs.

The plants in its domain weren’t random; they were specific, and I had those plants, and I had shifted them in there.

I could see its vines connecting with the plant’s roots.

It is taking their energies, but also providing them. This is what gave me confidence, that I will be fully adjusted to this place here.

The energy taken from the plants is bringing changes to them.

They are small but gradual.

There is also the fact that it is eating the bees; I had not restricted their access to the plant. I kept it open, making a lot of curious bees get swallowed by it.

Now the bees had learned their lesson, and they hovered around, but didn’t enter his domain.

Though now and then one would enter. Immediately, the vines would come out and wrap around it, before swallowing the bee.

I sighed in regret

Another drop of core liquid would have helped recover even faster, but even the drop I too nearly killed it. So, I cannot take another drop from it.

Once it is adjusted, I will do that. Until then, I will need to be satisfied with its blood. It’s not blood technically, but that’s what I am calling it.

My clone had synthesized it and mixed it with a few more things. Creating a potent life energy recovery formula, looking at the data in front of me, it looks quite promising.

I looked at a few more things and got out of the core.

I remained lying for a minute, thinking about a few things before getting up. I had recovered enough to walk around on my own.

I am also powerful enough that nobody under Prime is a threat to me, but that’s nothing in this realm.

I got up and stepped into the shower. I came out fifteen minutes later and changed into comfortable clothes before walking into the kitchen.

I sat down at the dining table, and food appeared.

Usually, I like to cook, but today isn’t the day I want to do it. So, I ate the food while studying the data in front of me.

My abode had travelled a large distance in the past three days, and I want to see the things it had come across.

Minutes passed, and as I had expected. It had come across quite a lot of things, including the host. The abode had come across it yesterday morning.

"I know monster isn’t strong enough to kill you," I said.

The monster was strong, alright; stronger than the host, but that’s not enough to kill it.

If it had a person, they might have had a good chance given the power difference, but with the dumb monster, the difference would have needed more.

I had expected it, but it still made me sad. I had firsthand experienced of how powerful it is, and there aren’t many people in the realm who could go against it.
