Chapter 908: 894. Who is your sister (2) Chapter 908: 894. Who is your sister (2) Jian Qing gave him a blank look, and Quan Jingwu reached out to grasp her wrist, pulling her into his embrace, with his hands locked around her waist.

“What’s the matter, we can eat now, Grandpa and the rest are still waiting.”

Having just showered, the man carried the fresh scent of shower gel, and his slightly disheveled ink-black hair brushed past her cheek, causing her to involuntarily shrink her neck.

Quan Jingwu tilted his head and pressed his thin lips against her rounded earlobe, “I don’t want to eat, I want to eat you.”

Jian Qing chuckled lightly and patted his hand, “Be serious, let’s go down to eat quickly, everyone is still waiting.”

“I’m out of strength,” he said, his shoulders slumping, leaning his entire weight on her.

“So, what exactly does Lord Jingwu want?” Jian Qing glanced at him sideways, her eyes alight with intense amusement, commenting that if seventeen-year-olds were childish, he certainly wasn’t far behind.

Quan Jingwu curved his lips and pointed towards his cheek.

“I think you’re even more childish than the seventeen-year-olds,” Jian Qing teased, but despite her words, she tiptoed to plant a kiss on his cheek.

“Let’s get going now.”

Quan Jingwu chuckled, his hand moving down to take hers, “I’ll let you off for now, we’ll continue the rest tonight.”

“Get lost,” Jian Qing laughed and cursed.

Just a bit of sunshine and she’s radiant.

Inside the shop, the fragrance of flowers was pervasive.

The cool air conditioning lingered in the store, causing the customers to stay a little longer.

Zhan Mingyan sat on the sofa, trimming the branches of flowers, her gaze occasionally sweeping towards the entrance; amongst the coming and going crowd, that familiar face had yet to appear.

She withdrew her gaze, the brightness in her eyes slowly dimming.

Has he encountered other pretty girls in M Country? Has he already forgotten about her?

Hah, Zhan Mingyan, what are you still hoping for?

“Xiaoqing, Mr. Bai seems to have not shown up for three days,” Xiaoling stood next to Xiaoqing, whispering to her.

“Yeah, he used to come every day before, but these three days he’s been nowhere to be seen; it’s really strange,” Xiaoqing said softly, glancing in Zhan Mingyan’s direction.

Xiaoling, “Could it be that he had a fight with Sister Mingyan?”

“I don’t know, but I felt that their relationship was beginning to thaw a little while ago, so why the sudden absence? Could something have happened to Mr. Bai?” Xiaoqing wondered while arranging bouquets.

“Sister Mingyan doesn’t seem to be in a good mood, we better not ask too much,” Xiaoling said, “We should quickly finish packaging the flowers for the customer, they will be here to pick them up soon.”

Meanwhile

Shijin Haoting

“Why hasn’t Jian Qing arrived yet?” The one speaking was Bai Jue, who had just returned from M Country and rushed over immediately after landing.

“Can you stop pacing back and forth? You’re making my head spin,” Jian Luo sat on the sofa with his laptop, working on documents, tapping on the keyboard while speaking.

“Brother, can’t you stop interrupting my work?”

“With what’s going on now, you still have the mood to look at documents? I’m about to die of anxiety,” Bai Jue walked back and forth, glanced at his wristwatch, then turned to look at Jian Luo and asked, “Jian Luo, do you think your sister overslept?”

“Maybe, so just wait for her to wake up,” Jian Luo joked.

“…”

How I wish I could punch this guy right now.

Outside the door, the sound of a car approached.

Bai Jue’s eyes lit up, and he immediately ran to the doorway, his expression full of eagerness.

“Bai Jue, all these years and I’ve never seen you welcome me like this,” said Jian Qing, toying with her car keys and leisurely walking in.

Bai Jue smiled ingratiatingly, “Ancestor, you’ve finally arrived.”

“Pfft, since when did I become your ancestor? That’s an old generation for sure.” Jian Qing gave him a sidelong glance, tossed the car keys on the table, and sat down beside Jian Luo.

“Sis, there’s a document from headquarters, have a look.” Jian Luo said deliberately, seeing Bai Jue’s anxious demeanor.

“What document?” Jian Qing played along and leaned in to look at the document.

Bai Jue couldn’t help but laugh, marched over, and snatched the laptop, “I say, dear ancestors, could you please acknowledge my presence?”

Jian Qing’s red lips curled into a smile as she looked up at him, “You just got back from M Country and can’t wait already?”

“Everyone is all paired up, and here I am, all alone. Isn’t it normal for me to be impatient?” Bai Jue set down the laptop and complained.

“It seems you have a lot of complaints about us, so never mind, you can handle your own matters.” Jian Qing said unhurriedly.

Bai Jue touched his nose, “Alright, alright, my bad, bro, stop teasing me.”

“Who’s your bro?” Jian Qing’s lips twitched with a smile.

“Then sister, sister it is, okay?” Bai Jue immediately corrected himself.

Jian Luo said coolly, “Who’s your sister?”

“…”

Bai Jue felt like spitting out a mouthful of old blood.

These siblings were definitely toying with him on purpose.

“Alright, alright, let’s stop teasing you and talk business.” After the joke, Jian Qing steered the conversation back on track.

“Jian Qing, you did promise to help me last time, you can’t go back on your word.” Bai Jue spoke up first, sitting opposite them.

Jian Qing raised an eyebrow, “I heard about your plan from Luoluo, but I’m curious about something. That plan couldn’t have been concocted by you alone, could it?”

As she spoke, she rested her head on one hand, leisurely turning her gaze toward Jian Luo.

“It’s been a bit hot lately.” Jian Luo touched his neck and looked away from her gaze, “I wonder if Black Jack has suffered heatstroke or not.”

Jian Qing and Bai Jue were speechless, “…”

Why did that sound so odd, as if he was almost hoping for Black Jack to get heatstroke?

“Jian Qing, just hurry up and give Mingyan a call. Your credibility is higher when you call her.” Bai Jue urged.

“But lying doesn’t seem right, Mingyan is my friend after all,” Jian Qing said.

“It’s called a white lie. Can’t you bear to see your two friends look so gloomy and unhappy every day?” Bai Jue said, pressing the matter.

“Stop looking at me with that face, it’s nauseating.” Seeing him make a gloomy face, Jian Qing quickly made him stop.

“Fine, I’ll call her for you.”

Bai Jue’s eyes lit up, and he nodded frantically.

Jian Qing took out her phone and dialed Zhan Mingyan’s number.

Bai Jue quickly leaned in, but Jian Qing gave him a glance and disdainfully pushed his head away, “Go stay over there.”

Soon enough, Zhan Mingyan’s voice came through, “Jian Qing!”

“Mingyan, are you free right now?” Jian Qing pursed her lips, her cold voice carrying a trace of solemnity.

Zhan Mingyan asked, “I’m free, what’s up?”

“Then come to Shijin Haoting to find me, I have something to tell you.”

“Jian Qing, has something happened?” Sensing the heaviness in Jian Qing’s voice, Zhan Mingyan’s heart skipped a beat.

“You come over first, and I’ll tell you in detail.” Seeing Bai Jue’s encouraging look, Jian Qing continued.

“Okay, I’ll come over now.”

After hanging up, Jian Qing shot a glare at Bai Jue, “Happy now?”

“Delighted, delighted. But you both will have to help me carry on with the act when she arrives,” Bai Jue said with a big smile, pouring them tea and offering it with both hands.
