Monopolize My Mysterious Wife
Chapter 801 - 801 Hug her kiss her (1)

Chapter 801: Hug her, kiss her (1) Chapter 801: Hug her, kiss her (1) Snowball watched their blustering with bright, expressive eyes that conveyed a deep sense of disdain and aversion.

“Snowball, you stay put. Mrs. Quan and the others left you behind. I’m calling Mr. Jian Luo right away to pick you up, okay?” The girl with the ponytail took a few steps back, maintaining her distance from Snowball as she said this meekly.

Jian Qing brought Snowball to the flower shop every day, so they knew that the spirited Snow Wolf was quite intelligent, but they were still too timid to approach it.

Snowball’s dark pupils dilated, and it bristled instantly.

Left behind?

Its gaze passed over them, staring fixedly at the door.

Leaves drifted down, in a desolate and dreary scene.

The beauty had actually forgotten it here.

Lying on the floor like a deflated ball, Snowball’s round eyes seemed to brim with a hint of accusation.

“Awoo—” It howled in dismay, causing the clerks to go weak at the knees, almost kneeling before it.

In the suburb, the air was fresh.

The black sports car, with its sleek and cool body, sparkled under the sunlight.

Inside the car, warm affections stirred.

Quan Jingwu lowered his gaze to the woman in his arms, his right hand gently stroking her long hair, as tenderly as one would handle a precious treasure.

“Good girl, should I spank you to make it better? Don’t cry now, alright?” His deep voice rose slightly, warm and effortlessly plucking at her heartstrings.

Buried in his chest, Jian Qing clutched tightly at the corner of his clothes. Hearing his words, she just snuggled closer into his embrace without a word.

Her endearing movement made him curl his lips in a smile. He bowed his head and pressed his thin lips to her fragrant hair, leaving a gentle kiss.

“Look at me, alright?”

After a moment, Jian Qing slowly raised her head, her slender eyes misty, her curly lashes still wet with tears.

Quan Jingwu cradled her small face in his hands, his fingertips gently wiping the tear stains from her cheeks, his lips curling into a tender smile, “You’ve become a little tear-stained kitty.”

“You’re laughing at me.” Jian Qing’s damp eyes looked at him accusingly, her voice slightly hoarse.

Quan Jingwu chuckled, his eyes deepening with intoxicating warmth, “Alright, alright, I apologize, is that okay? It’s my fault that I’ve made my baby so sad. I’ll take my punishment by being at your beck and call for a lifetime, alright?”

He had been aware of her words while he was unconscious; no matter how much he struggled, he just couldn’t wake up.

“Liar, you said you would sleep only a little while, but you slept so long. I called for you so many times, and you didn’t respond.” Recalling the months that felt like years, Jian Qing still felt a deep ache in her heart.

“Only in my dreams would you talk to me, would you hug me…”

Her choked words struck his heart like a heavy hammer.

Quan Jingwu tightened his arms around her, his clear and bright violet eyes filled with distress, “I’m sorry, there won’t be a next time, I promise.”

Jian Qing hugged him back, a familiar twinge of pain suddenly spreading from her abdomen. She furrowed her brows slightly, her lips curling into a faint smile.

She took his hand and placed it on her belly, her frown smoothing away, “The baby’s moving.”

As if aware that their daddy had woken up, the baby moved vigorously, the strong fetal movements transferring into his palm. Quan Jingwu smiled.

He rubbed her rounded belly, his deep gaze softening, “Be gentle, don’t hurt mommy.”

His magnetic voice, gently speaking, made Jian Qing lift her eyes to his sharply-defined profile. The smile on her lips grew brighter.

Soon, the baby’s movements calmed down, and the twins, as usual, obediently heeded their father’s words.

Jian Qing laughed through her tears, “Xiaojing, the babies listen to you so well.”

The two little ones were clearly biased. When she spoke to them, it took ages to get a response, but the moment their daddy spoke, they immediately behaved.

“Of course, this is my son,” Quan Jingwu said, his cold eyebrows lifting slightly with a face full of pride and satisfaction.

“Xiaojing, this isn’t a dream, right?” She took his hand, her eyes reflecting his handsome features.

Quan Jingwu let out a soft sigh, taking her hand in his and placing it on his chest, “Idiot, does it feel real now? Your Overlord Jing has truly awoken.”

Beneath her palm, the heartbeat was steady and strong. A smile spread across Jian Qing’s eyes, making her delicate features appear even more enchanting.

Her eyes squinted into crescent moons, irresistibly charming, “Overlord Jing, I want to eat the food you cook.”

“Alright, I’ll cook for you when we get back.”

“I also want chocolate.”

“I’ll buy it for you.”

“You haven’t read a story to the baby for a month.”

“I’ll start making up for it tonight.”

“And…”

“Mmm—”

He found those soft red lips and kissed her, silencing her unfinished words. Jian Qing paused, then wrapped her arms around his neck, gazing directly into the handsome face so close to hers, with thousands of stars twinkling in her clear eyes.

Quan Jingwu wrapped one arm around her waist and the other at the back of her head, the missed kisses fiery and lingering.

He would make up for everything he owed her, but right now, he just wanted to hold her, to kiss her.

The strong and fierce kiss was overwhelming, almost consuming her, and Jian Qing’s delicate body gradually went limp in his embrace, her hands weakly clinging to his shoulders.

A cool breeze blew by, making the atmosphere even more heated and romantic…

“How come Snow Wolf came back with you?”

In the living room, Bai Jue was scrolling through his phone and showed surprise upon seeing Jian Luo bring Snow Wolf back.

“Where’s Jian Qing?”

“Don’t know, probably taken somewhere by Quan Jingwu,” Jian Luo replied as he sat down opposite him, letting out a relieved smile.

With Quan Jingwu awake, his sister should be fine too.

Snow Wolf lay on the carpet, exuding a low pressure all around.

Bai Jue glanced down at him curiously, “What’s wrong with it?”

Jian Luo looked at Snow Wolf’s listless appearance and chuckled, “He was left behind at the florist shop by my sister and Quan Jingwu.”

When he went to pick it up, the fluffy ball looked as if it had been abandoned by the whole world, which was amusing to see.

At that, Bai Jue laughed unscrupulously.

That unrestrained laughter successfully attracted a fierce glare from Snow Wolf.

“Why are you still here? I thought you’d gone to a nightclub,” Jian Luo said, his legs propped up, speaking lazily.

Bai Jue’s smile rippled, “If I wasn’t waiting for Quan Jingwu to come back to give him a checkup, I’d have been out wooing beauties long ago.”

He hadn’t gone to nightclubs or any such places for a month, and this bland life was really a bit tedious.

“Playboy,” Jian Luo teased.

Bai Jue raised an eyebrow, calmly accepting his “compliment.”

“Aren’t you going to look for Black Jack?”

Jian Luo replied, “What for? He hasn’t been gone for months.”

He had only left a couple of days ago; it’s not like they wouldn’t see each other again.

“How about I take you to a bar?” Bai Jue suggested, winking at him.
