Chapter 714: 700, Paparazzi Blocked My House Entrance (2)_1 Chapter 714: 700, Paparazzi Blocked My House Entrance (2)_1 “Whether you marry me or not, this is yours,” Khan said.

After all, everything he owns belongs to his wife, and the only candidate for his wife is her.

“I don’t want it, you take it back,” Xiya wasn’t stupid; if she accepted this gift, he would have even more control over her in the future.

“Then, do you want to marry me?” Khan took a step back, avoided the files she pushed back towards him, and asked again.

“No,” she replied without hesitation.

Khan was frustrated: “Why? Are you unsatisfied with me in some way? If so, tell me, I’ll change immediately.”

“There’s no reason. I just don’t want to get married yet, it’s that simple.”

“But, I want to get married.”

Khan took a step forward, pressing toward her.

His tone, was like a child begging for candy.

Xiya: “…”

She looked into his eyes and noted that his thought process wasn’t quite right today.

She took a deep breath, then loudly snapped at him, “Look for someone else to marry, I won’t accompany you.”

“Is marrying me really that unappealing to you?” A trace of desolation flashed across Khan’s eyes, “Have you never truly forgiven me?”

His voice softened, throwing Xiya off balance.

She touched her nose and said, “Actually, I think our current relationship is quite good, what’s your obsession with marriage?”

Wasn’t he always saying he’d stay a lifelong bachelor?

“If we’re married, you’ll be my wife, and we won’t have to sleep in separate rooms anymore.” Khan looked at her with a gloomy expression.

Upon hearing this, Xiya’s brow furrowed, she gritted her teeth and retorted, “If you want to get married, you’ll have to wait another 800 years.”

His ideal scenario sounded great, not having to sleep in separate rooms after marriage? What a rogue and shameless idea.

She threw the files back at him and turned to go upstairs.

Seeing this, Khan carelessly threw the files onto the sofa and stepped forward to block her way: “Xiya!”

Xiya: “Get lost.”

Khan didn’t give up, he took a small, beautiful brocade box out of his pocket. Without needing to open it, Xiya could guess what was inside.

Just as he was about to open it, Xiya interrupted him in panic.

“Wait, don’t open it.”

Before she finished her sentence, Khan had already opened the brocade box. Two uniquely carved diamond rings were placed inside. The brilliant green diamonds, like the northern lights shooting across the night sky, sparkled with a captivating glow.

The moment Xiya saw the rings, she thought of her own green eyes. She stood there in a daze, staring at the rings and losing herself in the moment.

Khan watched her, then suddenly dropped to one knee.

“What are you doing, I’m not dead yet. If you kneel before me, I’ll lose years of my life!” Xiya tried to defuse the awkward moment by making a joke.

Khan shook his head, his gaze fell on the pair of rings. Then, a smile tugged at his lips: “Xiya, I know that I was playful and frivolous in the past, and failed to give you the sense of security you wanted. I designed these rings after you left me. Please give me another chance. From now on, you can be the one to make decisions for the rest of our lives, our home will be ruled by you.”

His voice lowered for the last sentence, his gaze was filled with deep affection.

“Our home”, these three words echoed in Xiya’s mind.

All of a sudden, she felt these words hit a soft spot in her heart.

She lowered her eyes and gazed at the pair of rings, their color resembling her green eyes. They stirred her heart, her lips curling up into a quiet smile.

Before she answered, the untimely sound of a knock on the door broke the moment.

Xiya lightly coughed: “I’m going to get the door.”

Khan closed the brocade box, his handsome face clouding over.

Damn it, who the hell dared to interrupt at this moment?

Xiya opened the door. A barrage of flashlights constantly flashed, the dazzling light forced her to squint and instinctively raise her hand in defense.

“It’s really Xiya!”

An astonished voice echoed, Xiya frowned.

“Xiya, may I ask why you’re here? Isn’t this Khan’s residence?”

“Xiya, could it be true what the rumors say, that you and Khan are together?”

“Xiya, someone recently photographed you going out with a child. Is that child yours and Khan’s?”

“Xiya, may I ask if you had a child out of wedlock?”

A throng of reporters crowded outside the door. Their cameras flashed continuously, and the microphones were shoved in front of her face.

As more people surged forward, Xiya was pushed back and involuntarily bumped into a sturdy embrace.

She turned around and saw the concern in Khan’s eyes.

“Did you get hit anywhere?” He held her in his arms and inspected her carefully.

Xiya shook her head, Khan’s grip on her tightened, he looked up at the reporters who had suddenly appeared at the doorstep, his face turned cold.

Everyone froze for a moment as they saw the intimate couple.

“Who let you in? Are you planning to trespass into our home?” Khan demanded in a cold voice.

Everyone quickly backed away, but they still showed no intention of leaving.

“Khan, did you secretly marry Xiya?”

“Khan, someone photographed you not long ago with a child. Is that child yours and Xiya’s?”

“Khan, did you and Xiya have a child out of wedlock?”

One after another, questions were thrown at them. Khan and Xiya looked dark.

Khan smirked coldly, grabbed a microphone from one of the reporters, and Xiya watched in surprise.

“Since you guys are so intrested in our affairs, better listen carefully.”

Khan held the microphone, lifted his chin, and glanced at them contemptuously.

“We are together.”

“It’s none of your business if we had a secret marriage. Do we need to report to you if we get married?”

“Of course the child is ours. Who else’s child could it be?”

“Now that you’ve heard it clear, get the hell out.”

After saying this, he threw down the microphone and swept his cold gaze over the stunned reporters.

Thump.

Xiya looked at the microphone that had shattered into pieces, then looked up at the man’s firm jaw, and smiled.

She had to admit, she liked this side of Khan.

As for marriage, now she could consider it.

The reporters stood there dumbstruck, unable to utter a word as if they had been shocked by Khan’s words just now.

“If you don’t get out now, I’ll make sure you lose your job. If you don’t believe me, try.” Khan glanced at the reporters who were still frozen in place, his voice sharp.

“Get out!”

Once the words fell, the reporters exchanged glances. In the next second, they grabbed their cameras and equipment and slinked away quickly.

Khan slammed the door shut and pulled Xiya into the house.

Thump.

The violent slamming of the door scared Maomao, who was on the swaying bed, blowing bubbles.

With a loud wail, the crying was ringing. Khan and Xiya hastily rushed over.

“Don’t cry, daddy’s little princess, don’t cry, daddy’s here.” Khan scooped Maomao up first. He patted her gently with his large hand and spoke softly to soothe her.
