Chapter 68: Chapter 68: Melody, wouldn’t it be nice to marry me?

Hehe, he probably hasn’t seen that bitch’s true face yet!

He probably still doesn’t know that this bitch committed such a disgraceful act at eighteen and had an illegitimate child with an unknown father!

Just by looking at that man, you can tell he’s not ordinary. If he knew everything, he wouldn’t need her to take action; that bitch would definitely meet a miserable end!

But that’s good, this way that bitch won’t have any connection with Adrian.

Melody Parker, I’m really looking forward to it, I can’t wait to see your miserable downfall into hell.

...

A luxurious Ferrari sports car drove into a private garden in River City and stopped in front of a mansion within the garden.

The car came to a steady stop, and Neal Galan’s overly long legs gracefully swung out as he jumped off the car.

Taking two strides, he walked around and opened the door on the other side, lifting Melody Parker out of the car, and striding towards the mansion.

Upon hearing the commotion, Butler Henry inside the mansion immediately came to greet, "Young master, why are you here? What’s going on?"

Neal Galan’s face was dark, holding Melody Parker while walking inside, he ordered coldly, "Get Mike over here immediately!"

"Yes, young master." Henry received the order and turned to instruct the servants to fetch Mike immediately.

Neal Galan carried Melody Parker directly into the master bedroom on the second floor, gently placing her on his own large, comfortable bed.

Seeing Melody Parker’s soaked fishtail dress, he instinctively went to help her take it off.

But when he lifted her again to help remove her clothes, the lifelike butterfly mark on her fair back, at the tempting butterfly bone, made him instantly withdraw his hand.

He placed Melody Parker back on the bed, walked to the door, and instructed the butler downstairs, "Henry, get a clean set of clothes and find a maid to come up."

"Yes, young master." Henry answered respectfully downstairs.

Shortly after, he brought a maid over, "Young master, we haven’t had any women here, so... but I did find a piece of the maid’s unworn clean clothes."

"Give her the clothes!" Neal Galan looked coldly at the maid, then his gaze softened significantly when it turned back to Melody Parker lying on the bed, "Go, change Miss Parker out of her wet clothes."

"Yes!" The maid responded, not daring to look at Neal Galan any further and immediately headed towards Melody Parker on the bed.

Henry handed over other clothes he brought to Neal Galan, "Young master, you’re soaked as well, quickly change out of your wet clothes."

"Mm." Neal Galan took the clothes from the butler and went to the bathroom.

By the time he came out after changing, the maid had already changed Melody Parker’s clothes.

He gently approached, lifting Melody Parker into his arms, and instructed the waiting maid, "Change all the bedding to new ones."

"Yes!" The maid responded, swiftly replacing all the wet bedding with new ones.

Neal Galan gently placed Melody Parker back on the bed, then sat on the bedside, pulling Melody Parker’s upper body back into his embrace.

"Go, bring a towel over."

Mike was a miracle doctor David Galan brought from Y Country specifically for his grandfather.

When he hurriedly came upstairs with his medical kit, what he saw was Neal Galan holding a delicate sleeping beauty, gently drying her wet hair.

He stood there, shocked, "Alston, when did you return?"

He was notified by the servant and rushed over for a consultation.

The servant who notified him didn’t clarify, they just urgently grabbed his medical kit and ran over with him.

Arriving here, Henry directed him straight to the master bedroom on the second floor, and he truly didn’t know Alston had returned and also brought back such a beauty.

Neal Galan looked up, his cold eyes shooting at Mike, impatiently reprimanding, "Stop the nonsense, hurry and take a look at her."

"Alright, alright." Mike immediately stepped forward, placing his medical kit aside, taking out the stethoscope, and bending over to meticulously examine Melody Parker.

Two minutes later, Mike put away the stethoscope, looking at Neal Galan who was constantly holding Melody Parker, "Alston, this young lady has no major issues. She’s just overworked, accompanied by slightly low blood sugar, that’s why she fainted."

After finishing, seeing Neal Galan’s icy expression, Mike quickly added, "Alston, no need to worry. The young lady just needs some rest and recovery, and she’ll be fine."

Neal Galan looked at Mike coldly, questioning, "Are you sure?"

With his medical skills questioned, Mike was slightly displeased, "Yes, I’m sure. However, this young lady’s body is very cold; did she fall into cold water?"

Neal Galan nodded, recalling the dangerous scene, still anxious, "Yes, she fell into the lake."

"No wonder," Mike nodded understandingly, "but it’s okay, I’ll prescribe some medicine to dispel the cold."

Neal Galan glanced coldly at Mike, "Then why aren’t you moving!"

This was probably the first time Mike had seen Neal Galan so tense.

Mike looked at Neal Galan, smiling as he spoke, "I’ll go now, but Alston, since you’re back in River City, will you go see the old master?"

Neal Galan nodded, "Yes, I’ll go later."

"Okay." Mike responded and turned to leave.

An hour later, Mike finished prescribing the medicine and gave Melody Parker an injection before leaving.

He instructed Neal Galan that once Melody Parker woke up, she should take the medicine and rest more, and she’d be fine.

By this time, Neal Galan had already dried Melody Parker’s wet hair.

He gently transferred Melody Parker from his arms to the comfortable bed, so she could sleep peacefully.

He adjusted the silk quilt, tucking it in for Melody Parker, then leisurely examined the girl on the bed.

Her palm-sized face was unnaturally white, almost frightening.

His heart ached, reaching out to grasp her cold little hand, silently sighing.

Melody, you’re still the same, still not taking care of yourself.

This is why you wouldn’t let me come to River City to care for you, and how can I be at ease?

Melody, if I hadn’t gone today, how much longer would you have stayed in the icy lake?...

Neal Galan’s slender hand wrapped around Melody Parker’s fair little hand, gently caressing it.

He lifted her hand, bringing it to his lips, inhaling her fragrance, looking at her pale yet delicate face, murmuring lowly, "Melody, stop being strong! Isn’t it good to marry me? If you marry me, you won’t have to be so exhausted. I’ll give you and the baby a home, a warm home, I’ll always stand before you, shielding you from all the hardships, giving you a world free of harm, ever and always blue skies."

...

Time passed quickly, and Melody Parker remained unconscious for a full 10 hours.
