Chapter 1684: Chapter 1684: Terror

The Blue Dragon Queen coolly shook her head: "Insect, make your move."

The face of the Centaur Priest was very unpleasant. He initially thought that the supposedly weak woman was unexpectedly arrogant.

"Have no idea what you’re doing. Let me see how you kill me in three moves."

The Centaur Priest suddenly chanted a spell, and a green light abruptly appeared beneath the Blue Dragon Queen.

Countless black thorns formed a cage that trapped the Blue Dragon Queen directly, then began chanting an obscure spell, evidently attempting to first restrain the Queen’s movements, then take this opportunity to unleash more powerful magic to kill the Blue Dragon Queen in one fell swoop.

"Such feeble magic, it’s no longer necessary to continue."

The Blue Dragon Queen’s eyes grew even more disdainful, a slight tremor ran through her body, and the cage-like, sturdy and sharp thorns instantly shattered, leaving no trace on her.

Then she slowly walked towards the Centaur Priest, his chanting became more urgent, faster.

"Break!"

A streaming light flashed in the Blue Dragon Queen’s eyes, the Centaur Priest’s chant abruptly stopped. The green light surrounding him disappeared as well.

The Centaur Priest ceased the chanting, only then did he realize that his spell had been not only disrupted but directly countered. He couldn’t release natural spells again for a short time.

"Our Centaur Tribe inherits two Demigod bloodlines. Do you think that by banning my natural magic, I’m out of options? Taste my Earth Magic, which is my specialty."

The Centaur Priest began to gather earth elements.

"No need, Deep Ice."

With the Blue Dragon Queen’s words, the snowflakes on the Centaur suddenly turned into Blue Ice Crystals, which quickly spread, and within a moment, the Centaur Priest’s body turned into an ice sculpture.

"Shatter!"

Crash...

The massive ice sculpture directly shattered, along with the Centaur Priest.

The snowflakes in the sky stopped, only a heap of ice fragments remained on the ground, indistinguishable where the corpse was, what was real ice.

Everyone was dumbfounded, this was a boss? Isn’t it too fragile, the players were going crazy, barely daring to believe everything before them was real.

The Centaur Tribe felt cold all over, tremblingly shaking off the snowflakes on themselves, it was too terrifying.

No matter how unwilling to believe, what happened in front of them was not an illusion but actually transpired.

When Li Yao put the loot into his backpack, the players finally believed it was all true.

The boss that they could hardly kill, ended up being as fragile as paper under Li Yao and his subordinates.

What does this mean? It means that the good equipment they find challenging to obtain, Li Yao acquires as easy as eating or drinking.

The Centaur Chieftain tossed the legendary great sword to the Mechanical Avatar with a sullen face.

Other formidable Centaurs realized this wasn’t a challenge, it was slaughter. But the Natural Crystal in Li Yao’s hands was too tempting.

Despite knowing it was a trap, they had to keep leaping into it, just for that slim chance.

"Chieftain, I’ll go next." A camp-level Centaur holding a Long Bow stepped forward.

"If you defeat him, our tribe will have a bright future." The Chieftain seriously said.

"I understand, deciding to enter the fray, I don’t care about my own life or death." The Centaur Hunter said.

"Very good, go ahead." The Chieftain patted the Centaur Hunter’s shoulder: "If you lose, not only won’t we get anything, I’ll offer another legendary item to the opponent."

The Centaur Archer stepped forward: "Seems I have no choice, it’s you then."

Li Yao shrugged, walked forward slowly, the Star Bow appeared in his hand.

"Such a hunter, what a pity."

The Centaur Hunter sneered: "What, know you’ll die for sure? You can surrender directly, as a weakling, there’s no shame in bowing to the strong."

Li Yao chuckled: "To be honest, your rank is indeed much higher than mine, but alas, sometimes stats don’t truly decide the outcome of a battle."

"Very well, you seem very confident. Though I don’t know where your confidence comes from, regardless, I must win, are you ready to die?" The Centaur Hunter drew his bow and nocked an arrow.

"Then make your move, I’m waiting." Li Yao sneered.

"If that’s the case, you’re doomed."

The Centaur Hunter sneered, directly shooting an arrow into the sky.

As the Arrow ascended, it seemed to split, countless Arrows rained down from above Li Yao’s head.

Li Yao smiled slightly, Valkyrie Wing directly enveloped him, resembling a Metallic Egg.

Clang clang clang...

The Arrows fell on Valkyrie Wing, directly blocked by those metallic feathers, causing only minimal forced damage.

Li Yao happened to be a race-level leader supplementing origin, this damage was slower than his health recovery rate.

The Centaur Hunter didn’t expect Arrow Rain to really harm Li Yao, more to disrupt Li Yao’s rhythm.

The Centaur’s bow emitted a green glow, with power, an arrow appeared with a Demigod’s phantom.

"Breath of the Wild!"

With the bowstring’s vibration, the wilderness Demigod’s phantom galloped toward Li Yao.

The earth left a trench, a terrifying aura overwhelmed the wilderness, many beast soldiers let out panicked screams with this arrow, as if they encountered their most terrifying thing.

Many people thought Li Yao was careless, letting a camp-level boss strike first, truly arrogant.

Probably this time Li Yao wouldn’t escape, after all, he’s just a Hunter.

But at the moment the Demigod’s phantom reached Li Yao, he placed down an Arrow Tower.

Boom...

The wilderness Demigod directly shattered the Arrow Tower, exploding as it passed through Li Yao’s body.

A large crater appeared where Li Yao stood, though constructed out of solid wilderness floor, becoming solid through war and Gale, with the explosion a deep pit emerged, showing the terrifying power of the strike, not to mention race-level, even camp-level ranged profession would be critically injured by this strike.

"Damn, behind you." A Centaur couldn’t help but warn.

The Centaur Hunter didn’t know, but the other spectators saw clearly, only Li Yao’s illusion was shattered by this strike.

When the attack landed, Li Yao’s figure blurred, then appeared behind Centaur Hunter, switched bow to a glowing Hand Cannon.

The Centaur Hunter thought he killed the opponent, unaware of things behind him.

With other Centaurs’ warning, the Centaur Hunter didn’t know what happened, but instinctively darted away.

The goal was clear, the enemy behind him certainly wasn’t there for a chat, he needed to dodge...
