Chapter 1676: Chapter 1676: Mechanical Incarnation
Compatibility levels are unified; regardless of how many items you sync, the required compatibility materials increase incrementally.
For instance, if you only sync one item, moving from level 1 to level 2 requires one hundred compatibility points, then level 2 to level 3 requires three hundred, and level 3 to level 4 requires one thousand.
Now, if you sync two items, the levels are calculated separately, but the required materials are not calculated separately. Take Li Yao, for example, he synced the Mother Worm and Heart of Machinery.
Li Yao has raised the compatibility level with the Mother Worm to level 2, so if he wants to raise the Heart of Machinery to level 2, it will require three hundred compatibility material points, and so on.
Later, raising compatibility levels becomes increasingly difficult, especially after the ninth upgrade, where it becomes even harder.
Therefore, people often sync with just one item.
After all, if you sync two or three, even three or four items, they are all at low levels, while others with high-level sync are incredibly powerful.
However, Li Yao strives to achieve ultimate strength, and this time his choices are equally crucial.
The game’s pivotal choices include the initial race and profession selection, the elite profession choice, and material selection for the Path to Power.
Finally, there is the Divine Enthronement choice, every choice significantly impacts the character’s role, altering the direction of growth and development.
Li Yao begins syncing a second item, the Heart of Machinery, merging with the Death God form, causing the Death God form to transform, initially separating the limbs into a Lich and now becoming a black mist.
Although the form is lost, it gains increased plasticity.
"System: Player has synced a second item, Heart of Machinery, please choose synced items carefully to avoid regret."
"System: With the Heart of Machinery sync, gain passive effect: Mechanical Body. To gain more abilities, please increase sync level, current sync level is 1."
Mechanical Body: Allows the soul to shape a mechanical shell.
Li Yao lets out a sigh of relief; the Mechanical Body is pretty much what he expected.
Now in soul form, as long as the mechanical body is suitable, he can use those original Death God skills, but they generally work in humanoid form.
In other words, now Li Yao’s Heart of Machinery and Mother Worm are essentially carriers, each carrying part of Li Yao’s soul which can split into two.
Currently, the Heart of Machinery is like the mechanical core of a mechanical pet Li Yao made.
Li Yao can create different mechanical bodies and swap them out.
To put it plainly, if Li Yao makes a Fire Hawk, he can become a Fire Hawk, gaining corresponding skills, then make a Magic Armor, and the soul carried by the Heart of Machinery can become a Magic Armor.
However, Li Yao currently lacks the time and energy; he must first make a humanoid skeleton and then fill in the mechanical body.
This way, he’ll gain some mechanical skills and also utilize his Death God skills. Another benefit is its independence, allowing it to wear different gear.
Other than sharing special equipment and skills, they’re effectively two separate entities.
The advantage is versatility; the disadvantage is Li Yao needs to prepare two sets of epic gear.
After fusion, Li Yao returns to the main body, his consciousness entering the mechanical factory in Frame Space.
To shape an Ice Frost Bone Dragon, Li Yao built the first production factory, now two hundred bone dragons have been completely transformed, at great cost, but with extraordinary effectiveness.
Two hundred Metal Dragons quietly lie in Frame Space, Li Yao picks and chooses from some small bones removed from the Frost Giant Dragon, looking for some bones, then reshaping them.
A human skeleton infused with metal appears, this skeleton glows with a blue metallic shine, resembling a crystal skeleton.
Only the size is much larger, almost three yards, its bones huge and exceedingly tough, this skeleton is akin to a humanoid giant dragon.
Then, it is put back into the factory to build the body.
This mechanical life factory is custom-made, mass production is too expensive and requires fine products.
The body seems to be made separately, not the modular structure of mechanical soldiers, but rather precise structure with durable bio-mechanical construction.
With Li Yao having the Heart of Machinery, it can even liquefy.
Soon a perfect human form appears, Li Yao releases it, a human figure stands quietly, taller than Li Yao’s main body by more than one head.
Sleek all over, when Li Yao touches it he can feel warmth and soft texture, but this is just a façade; its defensive power is undeniably astounding.
The Heart of Machinery emerges, landing in the chest area.
Thump, thump, thump!
Like a heartbeat, the mechanical man shifts into a high elf form, then changes into forms like Tauren, Orc, etc., now equivalent to a formidable legendary mechanical puppet.
Under the enhancement of the Heart of Machinery, advanced liquid-metal bio-mechanical changes have reached a pinnacle of might.
The two Li Yaos look identical, then Li Yao takes out a retro golden plate armor, with two Reaper’s Scythes at the waist and a huge alloy mechanical greatsword on the back.
Li Yao can’t find a set of epic equipment in a short period; he can only settle for a set with fairly decent attributes and replace it with better equipment once available.
Li Yao regrets a bit that the sync level is too low; the two bodies can’t be far apart.
Yet Li Yao is still very satisfied, essentially gaining another melee unit he personally controls, the combat power they can demonstrate together is certainly impressive.
Li Yao carefully examines the mechanical body skills, none stand out; they’re mostly mechanical-related skills, not particularly special, but fairly decent.
It maintains the two bodies’ ability to switch skills, effect changing from three skills before to five now. Both share special equipment like Dark Touch, Titan Equipment, Valkyrie Wing, etc., and the Dragon Roar Skill can be shared, but other skills cannot.
Currently, the mechanical body’s health has surpassed the main body by several classes, and its defense can’t be compared to the main body either, its strength surpassing the main body’s as well, given the Dragon Bones’ strength, mechanical energy strength, special equipment, and the Dragon Father’s power addition, even Li Yao’s main body can’t rival it.
Once everything is settled, Li Yao leaves the captain’s room, handing command over to Guard Captain Withered Sun, instructing him to cooperate with the queen, and upon completion to return to the Tower of the Windwalker for base operations.
Meanwhile, Li Yao needs to prepare a batch of max-level equipment, not only for himself and his mechanical avatar but also for the guild’s warehouse, encouraging guild members to reach max-level.
In a quiet location, Li Yao summons two Dragon Queens; the Blue Dragon Queen is using the Dragon Form, looking like a Crystal Dragon rather than a Metal Dragon.
The body appears semi-transparent like blue crystal, radiant and beautiful, breathtakingly enchanting, with lifelike scales and dragon horns resembling genuine dragon scales.
If the Blue Dragon Queen doesn’t move, she seems like a splendid sculpture carved from water-blue crystal...
