Andre’s scream sounded very terrified. After shouting twice, he kicked what had tripped him over towards Gao Yang.

Gao Yang was quite displeased with Andre’s actions, but there was no choice; rookies just act this way, so Gao Yang could only quickly go check what Andre had kicked towards him.

Andre stood up from the ground, took a couple of deep breaths, and as if realizing his own disgraceful display, he spat violently to his side and murmured, “F**k! That’s disgusting!”

Gao Yang said in a deep voice, “It’s nothing; you’ll get used to it soon.”

Gao Yang shifted his focus back to the area yet to be searched, feeling now that there shouldn’t be any survivors left in the villa — of course, except for special circumstances.

With Andre, this burden, in tow, Gao Yang and Li Jinfang thoroughly searched the villa.

Li Jinfang pulled out a grenade, and Rafael softly said, “Throw.”

Li Jinfang tossed the grenade into a room. After waiting for the explosion, Rafael raised his head and shouted, “There’s an underground space, and it’s not small.”

Andre was shocked, clutching his head, but after quickly lowering his hands, he coughed lightly and said, “Isn’t this over yet?”

Ignoring Andre, Gao Yang asked softly, “Can you discern where the entrance is?”

Rafael replied bluntly, “Boss, don’t treat me like a god, but I can confirm where the underground space is.”

“Where is it?”

“Beneath your feet, it’s a large area; I said, a very large area right here.”

Gao Yang waved his hand and shouted, “There might be an underground passage, don’t let anyone escape, hurry and give me a plan.”

Rafael immediately said, “The floor beneath us shouldn’t be too thick, but very solid, reinforced concrete structure, at least one meter. I think we can drill a hole and drop a few thermobaric bombs inside. We don’t have thermobaric bombs, but we haven’t used Shemyer yet, drop Shemyer in, it’ll solve everything.”

After the rapid exchange of words, Gao Yang pulled a stunned Andre and said in a deep voice, “Come outside with me.”

Andre was led out of the stinking ruins by Gao Yang; Frey carried an RPG-29 as he ran into the ruins, and about two minutes later, everyone emerged again, with Li Jinfang being the last out, constantly unwinding parachute cord.

Andre instinctively took a few steps forward, while Gao Yang softly said, “Don’t go causing trouble.”

Gao Yang didn’t move, so Andre stopped, just moments later, Rafael excitedly said over the radio, “A big hole, below is a basement, people outside, keep away!”

Gao Yang turned back and shouted, “Everyone, stay far away! Leonard! You heard it, stay away from the mouse hole, as far as possible, about to explode!”

They ran out again, Li Jinfang unwinding the rope as he ran. After unwinding it to the end, he was already thirty meters from the villa entrance.

Li Jinfang shouted, “Not sure what’s happening down there; stay further away!”

After saying this, Li Jinfang pulled hard on the rope in his hand and turned to run.

Gao Yang and others were at least one hundred and ten meters away from the villa, yet still felt the strong vibration underfoot. The sound was small, just a particularly muffled explosion.

After the explosion, the villa, having been repeatedly devastated, couldn’t withstand this final blow and, with a crack, completely crumbled into a heap of ruins.
