Chapter 1251: Chapter One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Four: Focused on Those Who Are Blind to the Truth

Albert looked very happy, and Eileen also seemed happy, but the other members of Satan wore strange expressions.

No one knew Albert’s background, nor did they know how skilled he actually was in combat. But the problem was that with Li Jinfang and Eileen as the two strongest fighters in Satan, Albert was bound to suffer.

In Satan, the best fighter was undoubtedly Li Jinfang, but the second spot under him? Gao Yang had to contend seriously with Eileen.

Gao Yang was the type to dominate with one unique skill, relying on his signature groin kick to secure victory. He was the kind of fighter who guaranteed a win in his first encounter; only after opponents learned his moves might his effectiveness diminish. Otherwise, no matter how skilled the opponent was in combat, as long as Gao Yang could execute that kick successfully, they couldn’t escape the devastating blow.

Having relied on his groin kick for so long, Gao Yang had only met one fighter, Peter, who left him helpless. But who was Peter? He was a true combat master.

As for Eileen, her strength lay in her versatility. While she couldn’t match Li Jinfang, she was still an exceptional fighter with few rivals. As one of Gao Yang’s two star fighters, Eileen was no slouch. If not for Li Jinfang being so overwhelmingly skilled, her abilities might have stood out even more. Even though she was a woman, Eileen could vie for the top fighter spot anywhere she went.

Determining Satan’s second-best fighter between Gao Yang and Eileen was genuinely tricky. Why? Because the two knew each other too well. Eileen would never dare to give Gao Yang a chance to land his lethal kick, and without it, Gao Yang was bound to lose against Eileen in a straight-up fight. As a result, even if they wanted to spar, it usually ended in a stalemate of circling each other.

However, when facing external threats, Gao Yang could compete for the second-best spot. But in internal sparring among teammates, he was undoubtedly inferior to Eileen. The reason was simple: they were all comrades. Gao Yang couldn’t just deliver a devastating groin kick among his own team. He might use it against ordinary opponents in the field, but facing skilled fighters, his lethal kick was his primary weapon.

Eileen, by contrast, was versatile and controlled, unlike Gao Yang, whose sole move could cripple someone. This made Eileen capable of sparring internally, while Gao Yang was not.

Eileen smiled at Gao Yang and said, “Boss, come with us.”

Gao Yang originally planned not to go, but he reconsidered. Since he was entirely unfamiliar with Albert’s combat skills, this was a good opportunity to observe. He nodded and said, “Alright, I’ll join you.”

Albert picked up his bag and smiled, “I’ll go change; wait for me.”

After Albert left, Cui Bo couldn’t help but chuckle and said, “That guy is doomed!”

Li Jinfang, however, wore a serious expression and said, “Not necessarily. There are a lot of skilled people in the world. How can we know for sure that Eileen and I can beat him? It’s fine to spar among ourselves, but arrogance against enemies can be fatal.”

Frey slung an arm around Li Jinfang’s neck and laughed, “I have confidence in you, absolute confidence! Your fists are like the Boss’s gun—invincible without question.”

Eileen clenched her fists, stretched her neck from side to side, then said deeply, “I don’t care—I’m going to make him eat dirt! I hate the way he looks at me. I have to teach him a lesson!”

Gao Yang raised his hand but hesitated for a moment before saying, “Be careful.”

Watching Li Jinfang fight was a treat that no one was willing to miss. So naturally, the members of Satan made a full squad outing, marching together for roughly ten minutes until they arrived at a boxing gym within a fitness club.

The boxing gym was exclusive to members. Unless Gao Yang and his team paid a membership fee, they couldn’t use the facilities. But after paying and with Eileen stepping in and persuading, the matter was sorted.

Though it was an annex to the fitness club, the boxing gym was very professional, with excellent facilities and lots of people training. There were four boxing rings, with over a dozen individuals practicing nearby.

One of the four rings was empty. Gao Yang and his team gathered below the ring. Albert, already dressed in loose workout clothes, pointed at the ring with a smile and said, “Who’s up first?”

Eileen had also changed her clothes but hadn’t removed her wig. Albert immediately focused his gaze on her.

After making a polite gesture, Eileen turned to Li Jinfang and said, “You go first.”

Albert mimicked throwing punches. His movements were swift and fierce. After demonstrating his skills in the air with a short routine, he turned to Li Jinfang and said with a grin, “Do we need gloves? I don’t really like wearing them.”

Li Jinfang smiled back, “I don’t like them either.”

With that said, Li Jinfang stepped up the stairs, lifted the ropes, and slipped into the ring. Albert, meanwhile, gripped the corner post and leapt straight in.

“Didn’t expect such a big guy to be this agile,” Frey remarked earnestly, clearly impressed. Despite Albert’s size, he was surprisingly nimble.

Li Jinfang and Albert adjusted their positions on the ring. Since it was a friendly sparring session, they tapped palms briefly, then retreated to their corners, preparing to engage.

Albert started aggressively, closing in on Li Jinfang before suddenly attempting a grapple. However, Li Jinfang easily dodged.

Albert remained on the offensive while Li Jinfang continually evaded and retreated.

Albert was agile, but it was evident that Li Jinfang had lost interest in fighting him.

Gao Yang, familiar with Li Jinfang, could tell from his expression that Albert wasn’t much of a challenge. After seeing him for a few moments, Li Jinfang’s disinterest was clear. But since Li Jinfang was so skilled, no one else could gauge Albert’s abilities from his reactions.

Albert launched successive attacks but couldn’t even touch Li Jinfang’s clothing—he simply couldn’t land a hit.

After a series of fruitless attacks, Albert stopped and said helplessly, “Buddy, this isn’t fun.”

Li Jinfang nodded and replied, “Alright, then let’s end it here.”

After speaking, Li Jinfang feigned a punch. Albert leaned back instinctively to avoid it, only for Li Jinfang to deliver a swift side kick.

The sole of Li Jinfang’s shoe stopped mere centimeters from Albert’s nose.

Albert froze in shock, fists raised as he stood motionless. Li Jinfang shook his head, lowered his leg, and said solemnly, “You weren’t paying attention. This doesn’t count—let’s try again.”

Albert stepped back two paces, then rushed forward abruptly. Li Jinfang intercepted his arms with a decisive motion, clenched Albert’s neck with his right arm, hooked his right leg, and effortlessly floored him.

After gently placing Albert on the ground, Li Jinfang extended a hand to help him back up. Once Albert stood, Li Jinfang nodded and exited the ring by ducking under the ropes, leaving Albert dumbfounded.

Descending, Li Jinfang shook his head and said to Eileen, “Your turn, be careful.”

“Be careful” implied not injuring Albert. Li Jinfang had already assessed his skills and knew Eileen was far superior.

Albert felt humiliated. Though now aware he was far from Li Jinfang’s level, he was particularly embarrassed by being tossed around in front of Eileen. The thought of challenging Li Jinfang again didn’t cross his mind.

Determined to salvage some dignity, Albert turned his focus to Eileen and managed an awkward smile.

Eileen smiled back, then grabbed her wig and nonchalantly handed it to Gao Yang.

Seeing Eileen suddenly reveal her nearly shaved head, Albert practically bulged his eyes in disbelief. Eileen then loosened her shoulders and climbed into the ring.

She smiled at the stunned Albert and said in a low voice, “Ready?”

Albert nodded reflexively, only for Eileen to throw a punch immediately.

Given Satan’s teamwork and the close bond between Li Jinfang and Eileen, do you think Li Jinfang would share his combat skills with her?

Years ago, Gao Yang was a pushover in fights until Li Jinfang trained him for a month, turning him into someone who could hold his own. Gao Yang’s current proficiency, relying on his groin kick, was entirely thanks to Li Jinfang’s teachings. If even novice Gao Yang could achieve his current combat prowess, where would that leave Eileen, who already had a strong foundation?

The answer was simple—Eileen thoroughly thrashed Albert.

Her first punch landed on Albert’s left eye socket. Her follow-up was a sweeping leg strike that sent Albert face-down onto the mat.

As Albert lay motionless, Eileen smiled apologetically and said, “Sorry, you weren’t ready earlier. Shall we go again?”

Albert quickly scrambled to his feet and offered Eileen a strained smile, saying, “You’re right, I wasn’t ready earlier. Let’s do it again.”

Eileen stepped back a few paces, while Albert took deep breaths, then let out a loud yell as he lunged at her.

Feeling awkward about hitting a woman, Albert aimed to grab Eileen’s shoulders. But Eileen deflected his arms, landed a punch on his right eye, kicked his legs, and sent him kneeling forward. She then seized his hands, turned her body, and executed a shoulder throw, slamming Albert onto the mat.

Albert lay flat on his back, hands covering his face as he remained motionless. Eileen approached, smiling, and said, “No resting—get up! It’s been ages since I had a chance to spar. Let’s keep going until I’m satisfied.”

Albert shook his head, covering his face as he continued to lie still. Gao Yang took out his phone, glanced at it, and called out to Eileen, “Alright, that’s enough. Justin is on the line—he probably has news.” (To be continued. If you enjoyed this work, visit Qidian (qidian.com) to cast recommendation votes and monthly votes.
