Chapter 466: Going Home

Aldric didn’t plan to kiss Islinda.

Oh well, who was he kidding? The thought did cross his mind but he didn’t act on it. All he had known was that he couldn’t let Islinda go unpunished for running from him, how though? He had no idea. But he knew his wicked mind well and it was surely going to deliver brilliant ideas.

And yet, when his hand encircled his waist Islinda was just staring at him with those adorable wide eyes. She looked a little flustered and Aldric realized he had kind of missed ruffling her emotions. He missed her. No! This had to be Eli influencing his emotions! No matter what happened tonight, Islinda was dying tonight.

Then suddenly, her lips were on his, and his mind went blank. His wicked mind could not think of anything except gobbling up this adorable rabbit for breakfast. Rabbit meat had never felt so adorable. There had to be something special about Islinda because he had already kissed her a couple of times and yet he kept on yearning for more.

Again. It had to be Eli’s doing, however, Aldric knew Islinda had not been drunk when she decided to kiss him. She clearly knew that it was him chasing her down the corridors moments ago and not his alter ego. Islinda was kissing him. The real him and not his dumb ass alter ego, Eli — as she named her.

It was no wonder Aldric abruptly broke apart from the kiss. Her eyes were a little dilated and darkened with desire while her bottom lips glistened with saliva. His saliva. Well, their’s mixed. He was loving the new look. But then Aldric had a reason for asking.

"What?" Islinda breathed, her muddled brain still reeling with everything and Shame has closed in yet.

He regarded her intensely, asking, "You do know that you’re kissing me, the real Aldric, the famed prince of darkness, and not my irresponsible, irrational, and emotional alter ego, Eli?"

"Yes. Any problem?" Islinda asked with a daring raise of her brow.

His smirk reappeared, "In that case, let’s continue."

Before Islinda even had the chance to blink, Aldric had grabbed her cheeks and taken her lips in a kiss. She let out a startled gasp, slightly surprised before her lips curled into a small smile and she closed her eyes and let herself get carried away with the heavenly sensation that made her toes curl.

Aldric kissed her the way he wanted to, in a way claiming his prize after a long chase. His mouth was hard and bruising against hers, and he expected a bit of resistance from her, but the tenacious rabbit surprisingly kissed him back with the same ferocity.

It filled him with a special kind of thrill which was no wonder he began to walk her backward with their lips still fused till her back hit the wall. She was now pinned between him and the wall and yet he didn’t stop pressing into her, his hands moving over her body with a shocking possessiveness.

He could finally understand why Eli was a fool for this human because Islinda would be the death of him. Her lips were so soft and sweet, perfectly built for him to kiss and while he understood this wouldn’t stop him from killing her tonight, he wouldn’t refuse ravishing her if she offered. Yes, that was horrible of him to do but he was a villain and the stuff of nightmares. Islinda was beginning to get under his skin — and that of his brothers. He had to get rid of him before she ruined him and his plans.

Aldric moaned when she tangled her hand in his hair and yanked hard. He loved a bit of pain in between his pleasure and he hoisted her up so she curled her legs around him and threw her arms around his neck, kissing him harder and intensely.

When her mouth parted and his tongue crept in, Aldric asked for the help of the gods because he didn’t want the feeling the end. Their tongues tangled together in a dangerous dance. He ground his hips against her, her moans echoing across the room. He could perceive the scent of her arousal permeating the air and he nearly lost control. Aldric was filled with Fae pride knowing he was responsible for it and that he could satisfy his female.

He knew if his fingers went searching around, he would feel the slick arousal dampen her panties. But then, Aldric was not planning on doing anything, at least yet, and certainly not in this god damned palace where any Fae with a good nose would scent their coupling.

When he would have Islinda, it would be at his home and in the comfort of his bed. It still annoyed him that Eli had her first, but he would raise the bar high so she could never even dare to measure their performance. Yes, he would win, even against his own self. And then after giving Islinda a fine taste of paradise, he would kill her. That didn’t sound like a bad way to die right? Death after pleasure. She should even be thanking him, he has killed in worse ways.

The moment he broke the kiss, Aldric saw her senses slowly returning and she was finally realizing the consequences of her action. However, there was no disgust on her face — that was usually a deal breaker for him. When she lifted her cute eyes at her, he sensed the confusion and hesitation which was mostly why he took her hand in his and squeezed her. He was only giving a measure of comfort and thanks for the kiss.

Aldric felt alive now that his plans were clear and it was thanks to her. He began to smooth her disheveled hair that he had tangled his hand into and her tunic as well. Aldric knew she didn’t want anyone thinking they were kind of together. He understood why. The daring females in the past who wanted sexual favors from him wanted the same. Moreover, she had her love, Valerie.

Although the thought of Valerie filled him with wicked ideas and vengeance. How would his darling brother react when he learns she just kissed his human in the palace, right under his nose? He would go ballistic.

But one look at Islinda and Aldric knew he couldn’t do that to her, at least not now. They needed to get the hell out of here.

So he gestured to the door, "Are you ready to go home?" He waited patiently for her answer.

"Sure," Islinda answered nervously.

Aldric’s smile widened. Terrific.
