Mated To The Cruel Prince
Chapter 126: Love Equaled Sex

Chapter 126: Love Equaled Sex

What is a nightmare?

Waking up to see your nemesis right in your face? It was a miracle Islinda did not scream out because the dark prince gave her quite a fright.

"Aldric..." She gasped, trying to steady her beating heart.

Islinda could not sit up because he was leaning over her and if she dared to lift her head, they would be close to locking lips. She chastised herself for the ridiculous thought. She should be revulsed at the idea of kissing the dark Fae, instead, she was strangely excited at the prospect of such an event.

No, this must be his handwork. The longer she stayed with Aldric, the more his dark magic corrupted her mind, making her susceptible to his charm. He was twisting her mind from the inside out because the past Islinda wouldn’t entertain such thoughts!

No, she had to guard her mind and thoughts. She might not be together with Valerie anymore, but Aldric? She would be stupid to make such a ridiculous choice.

"What are you doing -"

"Why don’t you call me Prince Aldric?"

Huh?

Islinda blinked at him in surprise, that came out of nowhere. Referring to him by his princely title, does it give him an illusion of control as well? Also, was this the reason he was in her bed, no, room? He was getting creepier.

"Fine. What are you doing in my room, Prince Aldric?" She restated, doing as he wanted to fulfill all righteousness.

Aldric scowled at her, frustration in his eyes, "Why don’t you mean it? You might as well be cursing at me right now while you call me your prince."

Annoyance knitted Islinda’s brows, why more does he want from her? She called him a prince as he wanted or does he expect her to go on her knees and address him as such? He wasn’t her god.

"I did no such thing Aldric - no, Prince Aldric... " Islinda corrected herself quickly, mentally chiding herself for making such a mistake so soon.

There was a dark glint in Aldric’s eyes and she screamed as he climbed over her.

"What are you doing?!" Islinda panicked at their sudden closeness and inappropriate position.

But he gave her no answer, his heated blue eyes piercing her to the core, and a light flush spread across her skin. His knees were between her legs and was temptingly close to touching her center. Thankfully, there were her clothes and cover between them else she wouldn’t know what to do at this point.

"Get off me!" She demanded, refusing to be intimidated by him.

"Had I been Valerie, you would have welcomed him, why is that?"

"What?" Islinda looked at him as if he had grown two heads.

"The look in your eyes when you stare at my brother, you make it seem like he is your entire world."

"Well, what do you think?" She retorted, "I obviously love him, or haven’t you ever been in love with Prince Aldric?" Her words dripped with well-intended ridicule.

Aldric’s straight face answered her question.

She sighed deeply, "Even villains do experience love once in a while. Aren’t you together with Rosalind, aren’t both of you couples?" Islinda did not understand why she sneered at the end of her words.

The thought of Aldric and Rosalind together bothered her. Not because she was jealous or something, they just don’t fit together. Moreover, why should Aldric have a shot at a happy relationship, when he ruined hers? Perhaps, she had a bit of darkness inside of her too.

"If you’re asking if Rosalind and I are emotionally entangled, then you’re wrong. I would not give such control to someone so they can ruin me. Also, I am not capable of being loved, you said it yourself, I am a monster. When the daring Fae females come to my bed, they do so out of curiosity or to confirm rumors of what they have heard that I can do. They do not feel any kindness for me but rather to use me to fulfill their needs. They use my body, just as I use theirs. It’s a trade and of which they come back looking for more. "

Islinda went red in the face, this was a very uncomfortable conversation to be having with a Fae male on top of her. Not to mention the dark prince of all Fae’s. Anyone who walked in on them at this time would only think the worst.

"I’m so sorry, Aldric..." She didn’t mean it, "But perhaps, we can have this conversation civilly and with enough space between us," Her awkward laughter rang across the room while she pressed her hands on his chest pushing him away gently.

He caught her hands and locked them above her head.

"Aldric!" She rebuked him, not that he was listening.

He arched his hips into hers, and her eyes widened as a sudden ache started at her core. Oh no, this was bad. She had to stop.

Prince Adric said, "What if I did with you too? What if I pleasure you so much that you lose your mind? Would you look at me the same way you look at him? Is that the key? Then it delights me because I am much better than my brother in bed."

What in the Fae is going on here? Islinda’s head was spinning. How did their conversation get to this point? Who told him, love equals sex?

Before Islinda had the chance to react, Aldric reached around her neck, tracing the column of her throat and she sucked in a sharp breath at her body’s reaction. Heat pooled in her belly and he had not even begun.

Aldric came closer, so close that their bodies were pressed together. In that position, she smelled his crisp, sharp scent. He smelled just like winter and something darker. Dangerous and enticing. Her breath came in quick and shallow. And weirdly enough, this felt right, which was the opposite of what she should be feeling right now.

When he tilted his head and began to lean in, her heart raced in dread yet her lips parted in anticipation. But as soon as his soft lips brushed across hers, a tingle spreading through her, the door burst open.
