"Mu Lin." Inside the living room, Tang Qishan sat there, a brooding expression on his face as if lost in deep thought. However, upon hearing a sound, he lifted his head reflexively. When he saw Mu Lin, his face immediately softened, and he rose to his feet cheerfully, moving to greet her.

"Mr. Tang." Mu Lin looked at him and gave a light smile. Of course, she had seen everything that happened before, but she didn’t think much of it.

After all, it was none of her business, being an outsider to the family affairs.

The moment Tang Qishan stepped forward to greet her, the butler took his leave to prepare some refreshments.

He seated Mu Lin by the sofa and seemed extremely pleased, "Have you eaten?" It was just about noon, and Tang Qishan hadn’t expected Mu Lin to arrive so soon. He had thought she would come in the evening.

"I’ve had lunch before coming here." After all, it’s called ’afternoon’ after lunch, isn’t it?

Mu Lin did not press him for this; after all, she had her own agenda for coming today, didn’t she?

"In that case, let me just say it." Tang Qishan looked at Mu Lin, "I know you came here this time because of that mysterious man. Although I know you are capable and skilled, the waters of C Province are not that clear." He wanted her to understand and hoped that Mu Lin would not get into any trouble in C Province.

"I still don’t know who that man is, but his identity must certainly be not simple."

"Do you know his identity?" Tang Qishan asked.

Mu Lin shook her head, "No." She only knew that man was the leader of that organization. Anything else, needed further investigation, but she did not feel the need to elaborate.

But since she had arrived here, she would need to stir the waters here a bit. Maybe if the waters were muddied, it would aid her investigation.

Tang Qishan was pretty much impressed with Mu Lin’s audacity. Despite being aware of her identity, he still subconsciously considered her as an ordinary young girl.

Minus the reputation, this girl sitting in front of him, always wearing a faint smile, couldn’t she be considered an ordinary person? To have a normal conversation with her, one would have to treat her as such.
