Chapter 230: 229. USA vs Wakanda -1 [Bonus]
----
Days later, the American military fleet reached the eastern shores of Africa.
Troop carriers deployed wave after wave of heavily armed soldiers. Warships patrolled the coast, missile silos prepped and locked. They only awaited precise coordinates before the skies would rain fire.
Tanks, armored transports, and combat trucks tore across the savannah. Even apex predators fled at the sight of these relentless war machines.
---
At the heart of Wakanda, the golden hall shimmered in the sun. Vibranium inlays glowed faintly across the chamber walls, and a deep crimson carpet stretched from the throne to the towering doors an ancient symbol of royal authority.
King T’Challa, returning swiftly aboard a vibranium-powered transport, convened the tribal council. All four tribes had gathered.
When decisions involving the survival of Wakanda were at stake, the leaders always stood united.
Princess Shuri projected real-time satellite data into the room.
"Six battlegroups confirmed. Each armed with cutting-edge weapons, tech... and superhumans," she said gravely.
T’Challa closed his eyes and exhaled slowly.
W’Kabi, chief of the Border Tribe, stepped forward, crossing his arms over his chest in a Wakandan salute.
"My king," he said fiercely, "we ask permission to strike back. Let us take this war to the world. Conquer it, if we must!"
Everyone knew what the enemy wanted the vibranium mine. They would not stop until they had it.
And if the invaders returned home?
They’d come back with more.
T’Challa knew the U.S. wasn’t here to negotiate. This wasn’t politics anymore.
This was colonization.
There was only one response.
"Then we fight," T’Challa said, voice thundering through the hall. "We fight until they beg to forget Wakanda even exists."
"Wakanda forever!" the tribal leaders shouted, arms crossed in fierce unity.
---
When U.S. forces reached Wakanda’s coordinates, all they saw was untamed wilderness, thick jungle, and rocky cliffs.
Soldiers laughed.
"Seriously? This is it?"
What they didn’t realize was that Wakanda’s cloaking technology wasn’t just advanced it was generations ahead. The illusion made a hyper-advanced civilization appear as an untouched jungle.
Then the warriors emerged.
Tall, black silhouettes stepping out of the treeline.
Soldiers raised their weapons, grinning at what looked like tribal dancers in ritual garb.
Then—
Ratatatatat!
Bullets poured toward the Wakandans.
But before they could even reach them, the warriors raised their arms in sync. Their cloaks shimmered, revealing translucent energy shields.
The gunfire hit and bounced off harmlessly. Spent bullets clattered to the ground.
Through binoculars, the American scouts watched in shock as the rounds flattened on impact, unable to pierce even the outermost shields.
"...What the hell is this?" one soldier whispered.
The brass back at HQ frowned. Even with leaked intel from "Golden Panther," this was beyond what they’d prepared for.
General Ross stood and snarled. "Deploy the Iron Legion!"
If brute force wasn’t enough, he’d use everything.
Wakanda wasn’t some nameless village it was a fortress.
---
Back on the battlefield, W’Kabi stepped forward. He shouted in Wakandan, and his warriors raised their spears in unison.
Sunlight danced off the vibranium tips.
Then, with a second war cry, the spears glowed charging with energy.
Boom!
Bolts of pure vibranium energy lanced across the field, tearing through enemy ranks like lightning.
American troops screamed. Dozens fell in seconds.
"Return fire! Return fire!" came the frantic cries.
But bullets bounced. Their tech was useless. Wakandan warriors used their energy shields to create perfect cover while those behind them launched precision spear-bursts that tore through steel and flesh alike.
The savannah was soaked in red.
Overhead, vultures circled.
W’Kabi watched without pity.
He had always believed Wakanda should conquer, not hide. T’Chaka had disagreed. But now, with T’Challa on the throne and invaders at the gates, he would show the world Wakanda’s teeth.
"Guns?" he sneered. "Obsolete kinetic toys."
Vibranium-powered weapons ran on pure energy, not explosive powder. In this battlefield, they weren’t just advanced they were dominant.
---
Just as W’Kabi began to believe victory was near—
Boom!
Something massive crashed through the trees.
A monster.
A grotesque humanoid with scaled skin and reptilian muscle.
Abomination.
General Ross had deployed his trump card.
Behind him were more: genetically altered supers, mercenaries, and failed experiments. Among them was Luke, once a Defender now a weapon for hire.
W’Kabi froze at the sight.
He had never seen a being so large... and so human.
Abomination roared, shaking the trees, then charged like a war rhino across the battlefield. Energy spears slammed into his chest and fizzled uselessly.
Scorch marks. No wounds.
"Abomination!" shouted one soldier.
From Wakanda’s ranks, a figure blurred forward, cloaked in black, moving like a predator in the dark.
A streak of shadow.
Black Panther had arrived.
