Chapter 528: The Transformed
With the liquid of the elixir running through their veins, they started glowing like a green light bulb, and their bodies sharpened to an extraordinary degree.
Swoosh!
With her growing taller, Amara stood in the middle of the room like a goddess, and her short brown hair transformed into long, flowing locks of shimmering gold.
Under the skirt, her legs turned longer, elongated, and graceful—she turned slender—and her face transformed into a stunning portrait of beauty and elegance.
Fair-skinned, not a single blemish or wrinkle to be found, and her eyes sparkled with a radiant light that captivated all who looked into them.
The mouth of hers was like a delicate rose petal, soft and inviting.
“My past self was from the Cultivation Realm, and I was a young princess of the Shiulung Kingdom.”
Amara said with a smile, and then with her beautiful eyes, she turned towards Kiernan, wondering about his transformation.
At that moment, her eyes widened in surprise.
Standing in the room, a man, who was a head taller than her, was looking at his own reflection through a window.
The shirt of his was ripped—it couldn’t contain his muscles—and his chiseled jawline was more defined.
The sizes of his chest muscles weren’t monstrous sizes—they were perfect sizes—just enough to not make him look like a bodybuilder, but enough to show his strength.
His face looked mature and handsome—his black hair looked wild, which made his demeanor seem even more alluring and dangerous.
“R-Revenant?”
Amara whispered in a shocked voice, a slight pink blush spreading across her cheeks, and she couldn’t help but wonder who his past self was.
“My past self was that of a martial artist of Earth Realm.”
Kiernan said, then found some stretchy black shirt for himself, and put it on so he wouldn’t have to show himself in front of the whole world in his bare chest.
“Earth Realm… It must be a powerful realm, as I sense great strength from you!”
Amara said, then tossed him the faceless mask and put her mask back on with a smile on her face.
“Shall we go? I am a little theatrical person, so we shall reveal ourselves to the world with a dramatic entrance!”
…
Creak—through the open door, Zeus and Bella stepped into the room and saw Abracadabra family members gathered around the television.
“Ah, brother?!”
Kiah, the youngest son of Nevaeh, cried out at the sight of his big brother and ran over to him to give him a small hug.
They all turned around and looked shocked at the sight of Zeus. They just saw him on the television, and now he was here!
“Son!”
Nevaeh, with the child in her arms, walked over to him and kept pestering about whether he was alright.
“I am alright…”
Zeus said.
However, everyone kept asking how he got here, and he couldn’t answer because even he didn’t know the answer!
“Are you good?”
Karl-Michael asked with his usual rough voice, but there was a different kind of softness mixed in, as he was also worried about the safety of his grandchild.
“Yes, sir.”
Zeus said with a bow, then sat on the chair, and looked at the television with a trembling gaze as he saw the fight happening.
“Who are these people? Did they come after Kiernan, and I escaped into the underground?”
“Yes—all I know is that one of them is Fleet Admiral of the Navy, Xerxus Stroud, and I don’t really know who the other one is.”
Karl-Michael said.
“Hmm…”
Zeus scratched the side of his face. in deep thought.
“Son, how’s young Kiernan? Is he alright, and has he also left the God Island like you did?”
Nevaeh asked.
“I really don’t know… He was still in the God Island when I left, but he might’ve already left as far as I know…”
Zeus said with a hesitant tone.
…
Running on the rooftops, Amara, and Kiernan avoided the streets as they were packed with people right now, especially close to the stadium.
“Do you hear me, Old King? Do you hear me? It’s me, Cold Shade. I am coming to help with Revenant!”
Amara seemed to be talking to herself.
‘She must be Mindbreaker. I think she is trying to communicate telepathically with the Old King.’
Kiernan thought while easily following after Amara.
If it was his old self, he would never be able to keep up with her, as she was already above Martial King before her transformation.
He didn’t quite grasp her current self but believed that she couldn’t be too far from being in the Immortal Stage.
“By the way, how long does this potion last? I can’t imagine we can keep up these forms for all eternity!”
Kiernan asked.
“Until the potion finishes digesting, which can take from one hour to five hours. It depends on how much you’re exerting yourself!”
Amara said.
While jumping across roofs, Amara closed her eyes and heard a voice inside her mind—it was Old King’s voice—and he was asking what they were doing.
‘Why’ve you come here, Cold Shade and why are you with young Revenant? You two should be getting the hell out of this place as quickly as possible!’
‘I’ve drunk the Elixir of Maranysh with Revenant. We can help you defeat the Death Merchant!’
She said inside her mind.
‘I’ve done divination, and I received a response that young Revenant will die by the pale hands, and I believe it is referring to Death Merchant.
‘Thus, you should get him as far away as possible!’
Old King’s voice said.
‘Divination is not all-powerful truth. I am sure you’re worried about him. However, the divination didn’t take into account you coming here.
‘And because of you, I also came here, and because of that, Revenant drank the Elixir of Maranysh.
‘I don’t believe that he will die. You aren’t seeing him as I am right now. I don’t know who his past self was, but he can take care of himself!’
Amara said.
‘…Fine. I’ll open the trapped space for a second only, and you have that much time to to get in.’
Old King said.
‘Good!’
Amara thought and then turned to Kiernan.
“Be prepared! The trapped space around the stadium will open up shortly. Do not hesitate, and be ready to run in as soon as it does!”
“Got it!”
Kiernan shouted.
