Chapter 527: The Elixir of Maranysh

Kiernan entered his residence, quickly made his way to the table, and put candles on top of it before lighting them up.

“What’s this?”

Zeus asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Mind standing on top of the table?”

Kiernan said.

“Uh… Sure.”

Zeus hopped on top of the table, then shrugged his shoulders, and wondered what was going on.

“Mind borrowing your phone? I’ll need to speak with my mother.”

Kiernan said.

“Yeah…”

Zeus pulled out his phone from his pocket and tossed it over to him, which he caught, and quickly sent a message over to Bella.

Buzz!

Bella, with her gaze glued to the screen, pulled out her phone absentmindedly and checked the message.

It surprisingly came from Zeus.

She was about to call her sister, as it was about her son, but then she noticed the context of the message.

It clearly didn’t come from Zeus.

[Zeus: It’s me, Mother. I’ll need you to do one quick thing for me]

‘Son?’

Bella looked around, saw that no one paid any attention to her, and left the room before heading to her room.

While walking down the hallway, she typed on the phone.

[Bella: What is it, son?]

[Zeus: I’ll need you to do something for me. I’ll give you instructions, and do them exactly the way I tell you to]

Bella raised an eyebrow, typed an ‘alright’ as a response, and then entered her room—she received the instructions.

She pulled the rug out of the center of her room, found a marker pen, and drew an eight-pointed star with a large circle.

She then wrote Virtus, Sapientia, Honor, Fortitudo, Unitas, and Spes before placing candles at the tip of the points.

Then, at the count of three, she said.

“Transvectio Per Spatium!”

Without further ado, the candles blew out, and the room turned dark, but when she turned the lights back on, there was a white-blue-haired young man standing on top of the star.

“Eh?”

Zeus looked around him in shock.

“Zeus!”

Bella walked over to her, grabbed her shoulders, and asked.

“Is Kiernan alright? How did you appear here?”

“A-Ah, yes… I don’t know. I was just standing there with Kiernan at one moment, and then I was here…”

Zeus said with a shocked gaze.

“Is Kiernan still in the God Island?”

Bella asked hurriedly.

“As far as I know, yes.”

Zeus said.

With a nod, Bella turned back to the phone and sent a message.

[Bella: I don’t know what you did, but if you can teleport people long distances, bring me there. I can help you]

[Zeus: No need… I’ll be leaving shortly as well. No need to worry. I’ll be sending this phone back to Zeus; prepare for another ceremony]

A few seconds later, after another ceremony, the phone appeared on the circle, and Zeus picked it up with a surprised look.

“Interesting…”

Zeus said.

Bella looked conflicted, nervously fidgeted her fingers, and then said.

“Zeus… Your mother is really worried about you. You should go meet her right away.

“Ah… Sure…”

Kiernan picked up his own phone, thought about calling Julian to do the teleportation ceremony on his own end, but at that moment, he received a message.

It came from the Martial Order app, and it was a private message from Cold Shade.

[Cold Shade: You’re still in God Island, yes?]

[Revenant: I am, but I am quite busy at the moment]

[Cold Shade: Are you able to do a quick teleportation ceremony?]

Kiernan looked surprised at the message and then frowned.

‘She wants to come here? Why in the world?’

[Revenant: Yes… but why?]

[Cold Shade: I think we can help the Grandmasters to kill that black creature of death. It’s also a good time to reveal Martial Order to the world with a bang]

[Revenant: How…?]

[Cold Shade: I have a weapon that will help]

Kiernan frowned, rubbed his chin, and after moment of contemplation, he agreed and did a quick ceremony.

With the candles blowing out, Kiernan turned the lights back on, and a short-statured woman was sitting on the table.

However, there was a mask over her face—it was a mask of a raven—and she then tossed him a mask.

It was a mask of the faceless.

“With us making our grand appearance, it’s better for us to stay masked. I have a life outside Martial Order, and this popularity will ruin that.

“I am sure you’re in the same boat.”

Amara said from behind the raven mask.

“Yeah… What is the weapon you mentioned?”

Kiernan asked.

“This!”

From her pouch, she pulled two flasks of potions, and they were bubbling like a witch’s cauldron.

“Potions? How would they help in our current situation?”

“This potion is not the normal kind. I’ve been able to gather rare ingredients with the help of Martial Order, and I have been able to create only two flasks worth of it.

“This potion is called the Elixir of the Maranysh—with this, you can borrow the power of your past self.”

Amara said with a smile.

“Eh… Past self?”

Kiernan’s eyes shook.

‘Does she know that I have reincarnated? No, that could not be. I haven’t communicated with her much, and she shouldn’t know.’

“Did you know that every person has a past life? It might be a past life of this realm or in some other realm.

“If we’re really lucky, our past selves were really powerful beings who did amazing things.”

Amara said and handed him the potion.

‘…I can use the strength of my past self once again? I thought it wouldn’t be possible ever again. I wonder if it’s my old self or…’

Kiernan thought with a gulp and asked.

“Will it borrow the power of the strength that our past lives had at the moment of their deaths or?”

“That’s the great part. It’ll borrow the prime strength of our past selves, when they were the strongest versions of themselves!”

Amara said with a smile.

“Oh… How wonderful.”

Kiernan said, popped the cork off the flask, and drank it all in one go.

“Eh? You’re already drinking it?!”

Amara gasped, popped open her flask, and drank it all—in that moment, the two of them started to undergo a transformation.
