Chapter 199: You Are Mine!

Chapter 198

"Yes. Very wrong. For starters, you should not impose such a rule on me like that without my permission," Era started firmly.

"Why? You are mine."

"I belong to no one. I made it quite clear before." She was being rebellious and it scared him.

"Are those words coming out of your mouth? Have you forgotten how you came to Etheria in the first place?" His lips tugged upwards, revealing a lovely side smile.

"Yes but you killed and destroyed them, so I am no longer bound to you. You have no right over me, Vidor." His heart skipped a beat as he stared at her with disbelieving eyes. "I want to be free," Era added.

The fear gripped so much at his heart that he felt the it take over. He was just on his way to getting her back as his woman and here she was denying him.

Were all their kisses worth nothing to her? Did he look so terrible to her? He loved her and she knew it. He wanted her beyond words.

He wanted to make love to her and completely join their bodies, soul and being as one but while he was patiently waiting, she was thinking of leaving him?

That was unacceptable!

His once lovely dark onyx eyes changed. She could see the dark blunt flash in his eyes as they darkened even more. He was angry.

At first, she wanted to tease him and see how far he would go with chasing after her and his rules. Not because she did not love it.

She was supposed to hate it but Era found herself loving all of his efforts and her anger dissipated little by little. But then he had to just utter the words about how she came and the sacrifice her family made and how they paid dearly for it.

That was how her anger rose and she lashed out. "I do not want you."

That was it. His patience broke. He moved from where he sat and crossed the dishes in front of her and hovered over her, pinning her down to the ground with both hands at either side of her shoulder and head while his legs captured hers in between his.

With the position they are in now, one look and someone would think they were being intimate with each other but it was far from that. He was mad at her for uttering those words.

Not when he was opening up to her. No. Be it a curse or not. He was going to fight for her love.

"No. You are mine! And you are going nowhere, Era. You have no right to leave me!" Vidor bellowed at her, angrily.

"You cannot make me," she challenged.

"Do not dare me, Era. You belong to me. Me and me alone." His eyes shone with more rage.

He wanted her.

"Hahhaa, what a joke. Why suddenly do you like women? Do you think I would fall for it?"

"What?" She could see the confusion in his eyes but it did not prick her cold heart.

"Why? You even hated me when I came so why now? Or is this just another ploy to get me to trust you as my father did and kill me when the time is right? Are you even on my side as you claim to be before them or this is all an illusion?"

He felt a stab of pain hit his heart at her questions. It was obvious she did not believe him. She even doubted his sincerity to love and protect her.

He did not hide the pain that flickered in his eyes to her. He allowed her to see it. To see his weakness which was her. His love for her was going to be his doom but he did not care. So long as he could enjoy his time with her, he was glad.

Now...

He shut his eyes, holding back the urge to do something. Cry even. She had hurt him several times but this time he felt worse. He thought he had made her see his sincerity before.

"So stop pretending already. I already know the truth and refrain from kissing me or touching me too. It is just so annoying."

He tightened his eyes even more. He was in so much pain. He did not understand how words could hurt so deeply like this. Even his battle wounds did not hurt him like this before but her words were like daggers and swords slicing and cutting into his flesh.

She was wicked to have said this. Wicked to have hurt him.

"So please STOP, Vidor. STOP!"

She too shut her eyes, her pain resurfacing as the tears began to well up in her eyes before closing it.

Although he was in pain, she was in even greater pain. She never doubted him before but hearing him say those words, he not only reminded her of what had been but it felt to her like he was mocking her.

That was when she began to doubt him. From that single doubt, several others arose and she recalled what Damian had said and now, she was speaking this way to him.

She was angry at him for taking them from her but more importantly, she was angry at herself for falling for his charms. For allowing herself to care for him, to have feelings for him and for believing in his words.

She was so hurt that she hurt him back unintentionally with her words. Not that she cared. Her pain was all that mattered now.

"I can’t stop and I won’t stop. Hurt me as you wish but it would not change the fact that I love you deeply, Era. So I won’t stop!"

He yelled at her but her eyes remained close. Instantly, he pressed his lips on hers, kissing her against her will, not minding the consequences anymore.

Shocked by his actions, she opened her eyes only to meet with his. He was kissing her but he did not shut his eyes anymore.

Though that was touching and shocking, it wasn’t what stunned her the most. They were looking into each other’s eyes with tears they had no control off, falling freely.

She was crying and so was he. Vidor cried.
