Married To The Blind Alpha -
Chapter 76: Liar.
Chapter 76: Liar.
Aria’s heart sank when she saw the hesitation in Tristan’s eyes.
"This... this was a mistake," she whispered, starting to pull away.
But Tristan stopped her, his hand gently holding her waist.
"Are you sure this is what you want?" he asked, his voice low and unsure.
Aria met his gaze, her heart pounding. "I just want you," she said softly before leaning in to kiss him.
Tristan kissed her deeply, letting go of the restraint he had been holding onto. His lips moved from her mouth to her neck, lingering on the spot where his mark would go. The need to claim her was strong, but he held himself back, knowing this moment was about more than just instincts.
Instead, he let his lips trail lower, pressing soft kisses along her skin. Aria gasped at the sensation, her body instinctively moving closer to him. But Tristan’s hands held her still.
He pulled back slightly, his fingers brushing her cheek as he looked into her eyes.
"This is your first time... isn’t it?" he asked softly.
Aria’s breath was unsteady as she gave a shy nod.
Tristan smiled, pressing a soft kiss to her lips. "Then let’s take it slow, okay?"
"Okay," she whispered.
With ease, Tristan lifted her into his arms and carried her to their bedroom. He gently laid her on the bed, his eyes never leaving hers.
Sensing her nervousness, Tristan affectionately kissed her on her forehead and then her lips before slowly removing her remaining clothes together with his.
Aria couldn’t take her eyes off Tristan after he remove his clothes. Was it going to even fit?
"Focus your gaze on me." Tristan whispered, capturing her lips to make her relax against him.
He pulled away and look at her with his golden eyes, easing her pain as he slowly entered her.
Aria moan softly, surprised that the only thing she felt was pleasure. She was certain that since it was her first time, it was going to be painful but all she felt was an addicting pleasure.
Tristan could tell that he was able to take Aria pain from her but the sound of her moans sounded so sweet in his ear that he wanted to hear it more, making him to increase his pace.
Aria fingers scratch his back as her moan of pleasure filled the room.
Once again, Tristan captured her lips with his, as they both trembled in each other’s arms
After catching his breath, Tristan suddenly remembered they hadn’t used protection. A wave of guilt hit him as he looked at Aria and said quietly, "I forgot... we didn’t use any protection."
Aria looked at him blankly for a moment before she let out a soft laugh "I remembered."
"What?"
"Before I went off to college, my grandmother took me to the doctors and put me on the pill, so we are safe."
Tristan let out a sigh of relief.
Aria playfully scoffed and said "Wow, you badly don’t want kids, do you?"
Tristan looked at her and said "That’s not it Aria. I want you to finish your studies and after that...." He might not even be around for her graduation so there is no need to place a burden on her.
Aria eyes lit up as she asked "After that.... are we going to have kids?"
"Yes. As many as you want." Tristan replied with a soft smile.
"Liar." Zolan voice echoed in Tristan head.
Tristan ignored his wolf’s voice and quietly laid his head on Aria’s chest, letting her heartbeat calm him.
Aria smiled and gently ran her fingers through his hair. "I still owe you a mark," she said softly.
"You do," Tristan replied with a tired smile, his voice low as he slowly drifted off to sleep.
...
Damien entered his room and frowned when he saw Hailey in his room.
Damien sighed and said "If you wish to argue, then do that another day, I’m really not in the mood."
"What makes you think that I am here to argue?" Hailey replied.
Damien turned to look at her and asked "What do you want? Make it fast, I need to sleep."
Hailey watched as Damien removed his suit jacket and then his watch before saying "You need to kill James."
"Why? He has already given up his right to become the Alpha of the Shadow Moon pack after our fight, I see no need to have him dead."
"James is a danger to you. The moment he gets a chance, he’ll stab you in the back," Hailey said. "There are already rumors he’s been meeting with the pack council, trying to turn them against you. And if he succeeds..."
Damien cut her off with a cold laugh.
"So this is your father’s new plan? Sending you to do his dirty work?" Damien said, his voice sharp. "If he wants Milton’s son dead so badly, tell him to do it himself."
"I took control of the Shadow Moon Pack and made your father the substitute Alpha. Wasn’t that enough for him?" Damien scoffed. "If he wants more, he can kill James himself and take over his pack. Don’t come here bothering me with this nonsense."
"Nonsense?" Hailey scoffed. "I’m really curious, Damien. If this is what you call nonsense, then what actually matters to you? Let me guess... anything that has to do with Aria."
"Don’t start," Damien warned, his voice low
"Did you even see yourself at the party? Clinging to another man’s wife like that... it was disgusting," Hailey said sharply.
"Hailey! Watch your mouth," Damien snapped. Then his expression softened, and he smirked. "Wait... are you jealous?"
"Jealous? Of Aria? What a joke," Hailey said with a cold smile.
"I’m not joking. She’s prettier than you, kinder than you, and has a much better heart," Damien said calmly.
Hailey’s smile disappeared. Anger filled her face as she stormed over to him, raising her hand to slap him.
But Damien caught her wrist easily. His eyes turned cold.
"Don’t forget your place, Luna Hailey," he warned.
"Luna? You call me that, yet no one here treats me like one!" Hailey snapped. "They disrespect me because you don’t show me any respect. And now, you have the nerve to compare me to someone like Aria? How dare you!"
Damien let out a cold chuckle. "Just because you were born to a Beta doesn’t make you better, Hailey. You act like you’re kind, but deep down, you look down on others. The moment things don’t go your way, you turn them into enemies."
His gaze hardened as he stepped closer. "Get off your high horse. You’re not as important as you think you are."
Hailey’s hands clenched into fists, but Damien wasn’t finished.
"And as for respect?" He smirked. "That’s funny—how can I respect someone who doesn’t even respect herself?"
"What?" Hailey asked, her voice shaking.
Damien smirked. "Do you really think I haven’t noticed the way you look at my Beta? Are you that desperate for someone to sleep with you?"
Hailey’s heart dropped. Did he know about her and Jazziel? She frowned, trying to keep her face calm, but the fear was there.
Damien started to unbutton his shirt slowly. "Maybe it’s time I finally do my duty as your husband," he said, his voice cold.
Hailey took a step back as she asked "What are you doing?"
"What does it look like? You said I do not treat you as my Luna, well what better way to start than for us to consummate our marriage."
Hailey stared at him and said "I will be the one to decide when we consummate our marriage, not you."
After that, Hailey walked out of the room and gently placed her hand on her belly. She needed to make sure Damien never thought this baby wasn’t his. Acting desperate to sleep with him now would only make things worse. Today wasn’t the right time to make this child truly become Damien’s. She had to be patient.
...
In a dark cave hidden by the public with a spell, the same woman who had spoken to Aria, muttered a spell and entered inside.
After she entered, the spell reactivated.
What looked like a dark ugly cave in the eyes of the outside world was actually a palace and seated on a red throne was a man whose face was covered with hoodie
He rested his hand on his chin as the woman approached him and bowed slightly.
"Where is the book?" The man asked. His voice was melodious, calm but also terrifying.
His gaze on the woman who had her head bowed to him were empty and bored.
The woman raised up her head to look at him as she replied "I couldn’t take it. It seems a curse has been place on it."
"Curse?" The man asked. One could tell he was amused at that information.
"Anyone who touches it begins to whitter and for now only Aria is capable of touching it without any damage being done to her."
"Then why didn’t you bekng her here?" The man asked.
"She is not yet mark and also, she couldn’t open the book."
"Then that means..."
"I think the true master of that book belongs to the child of the white wolf. A child of a great sorcerer and of a woman who was reincarnated with forbidden magic, it is no surprise that their child will not be an ordinary one."
The man laughed loudly and said "I can see your greed for that child already. Do not worry, our deal remains the same. Aria is mine and the child is yours."
