Married To The Blind Alpha
Chapter 69: Rogue.

Chapter 69: Rogue.

Lia still couldn’t believe she had been kicked out of the pack. It felt like a terrible dream—one she desperately wished someone would wake her from.

As she walked out of the pack with Derek following behind, she could feel the weight of countless eyes on her—watching, judging, mocking.

How could Tristan do this to her?

How could he humiliate her like this—all because of Aria?

Hatred for Aria burned in Lia’s heart as she was escorted to the edge of the Golden Rills Pack’s territory. The moment she stepped across the border, a searing pain tore through her body, forcing her to her knees. A scream ripped from her throat, raw and agonized.

Derek stood still, sorrow darkening his gaze. He knew exactly what was happening—Tristan had severed her bond to the pack. With every agonizing second, her scent changed, the last traces of her connection fading away.

Then, just as suddenly as it began, the pain vanished. Lia gasped, her body trembling. When she lifted her head, horror filled her eyes. She understood. She was no longer one of them.

"You are now a rogue," Derek said, his voice heavy with finality.

Lia’s scent had already shifted, marking her as an outsider. If she dared to step back into the territory, she would be seen as an intruder—hunted down and executed without mercy.

A bitter sob tore from her lips as she sank to the ground. Becoming a rogue was the worst fate for a wolf, a life of isolation and danger. Now, that fate was hers, and there was no undoing it.

For a moment, the thought of death seemed easier. But no, she couldn’t die. Not yet. Not until Aria paid for what she had done.

With that thought, Lia pushed herself to her feet and met Derek’s gaze. Her eyes burned with quiet determination as she whispered, "I will be back."

Derek said nothing. He simply watched as she turned and walked away, her figure growing smaller with each step. He stood there, unmoving, until she vanished into the distance. Only then did he turn and make his way back to the pack.

.....

Apart from saying goodbye to her grandmother, Tristan did not allow her to interact with anyone else, and when she asked him why, he told her that he was still angry at everyone for allowing her to get drunk.

Back at their apartment, Aria pouted and complained, "I still feel bad for leaving without saying goodbye to Nyla."

Tristan brought her close to him and said, "We will go back again, but for now, I have gotten you a job interview."

"A job interview?"

Tristan nodded. "You once said you wanted to work as an intern in Diamond Industries, and luckily I know someone there, and all I just had to say was that you were my wife, and it was done."

"Really? Thank you so much, Tristan." Aria said, hugging him in excitement.

Tristan wrapped his hands around her waist with a chuckle.

"I promise I won’t fail you." Aria said, breaking their hug to look at him.

"I know you will do great, and that is why as soon as you have gotten your degree, you will be hired as a full-time employee."

Aria couldn’t believe what she was hearing. It has always been her dream to work in diamond industries, but she gave up that dream after hearing that unless a person has connections, it is impossible for one to even be accepted as an intern, but yet all Tristan had to do was make one phone call.

"I feel like I got so lucky marrying you." Aria said with a smile.

"I may not be able to take you out on a date or go on fun activities that other couples do, but I assure you that I will always try my best to fulfill your needs." Tristan said, bringing her hands to his lips.

"Will you fulfill all of my needs?" Aria asked.

Tristan’s gaze never left her as he replied, "Yes."

Aria’s gaze dropped to his lips, and she was about to lean in for a kiss when Tristan’s phone rang.

Aria let out a sigh and said, "I will go make dinner."

Tristan nodded; he was half relieved that Cole had called at such a time because he knew that Aria wanted to consummate their marriage, and to be honest, he wasn’t ready for that yet. At the state he was in, he doubted if he would be able to control himself from marking her once they took things further.

Tristan brought his phone to his ear after answering the call and heard Cole’s voice.

"It’s done."

Tristan remained quiet for a few seconds, and then he asked, "Did you confirm it?"

"Yes, I did. Her heart was no longer beating."

"And the body?"

"Buried to the ground in a secluded place. No one will find that body, Tristan; I assure you that."

"Good job." Tristan replied and disconnected the call. At least Lia would no longer be a problem to Aria in the future.

....

Cole stood for a moment at the spot where he had buried Lia, his gaze empty. With a deep sigh, he finally turned and walked away.

A few minutes after he had left, the same woman that had spoken to Noelle came out of her hiding place and stopped at Lia’s burial spot.

She closed her eyes and whispered, "Your spirit isn’t gone yet; I can still make use of you."

The woman opened her eyes and then brought out a small knife from her coat. She cut her palm deeply and walked around Lia’s grave, clenching her fist for the blood to drip as she muttered foreign words.

After her spell was completed, the wound on her palm dried up, and Lia’s spirit appeared in front of her.

Lia looked at herself and then at the woman who had summoned her. "Who are you?"

"A friend." The woman replied.

Lia’s gaze moved to her grave, and a terrified look was seen in her eyes as she asked, "Am I really dead?"

"Your body is gone, and in less than thirty minutes, your spirit will be gone from this world, making it impossible for you to ever return, but I can change that."

"What do you mean?"

"I can put your soul in another’s body. I can give you back the life that Tristan took from you, but it will come at a price."
