Married To The Blind Alpha
Chapter 35: Pain.

Chapter 35: Pain.

Why does Kia keep insisting that she has powers? Aria thought, and then her grandmother’s words came to her.

"You may not have a wolf, and you may never have a mate, but you have powers no other wolves have. You have the power to reverse time."

"The power to reverse time." Aria whispered.

"What?"

Aria looked at Kia and said, "My grandmother once told me that I had the power to reverse time, but I thought she was just trying to console me, so I never took her words seriously."

"The power to reverse time? Not even a witch is capable of such. Didn’t I tell you, Aria, that you are stronger than you think? Having the power to control time is beyond amazing; you must tap into this power, Aria, and you must do so now."

"I don’t want to. You have trapped me here for hours, and now you wish to mentor me into a power that might not be real, and even if it was, why will I use it on your behest? You said that woman wants to kill you, so what? How is that of any concern to me? You think that I can save you, but I am unable to save even grandmother, much less you."

"You have the power to reverse time, and that means if she finds me and kills me, you will be able to reverse my death."

"And why would I do that for you? Why will I bother to use these powers to save you when you have been nothing but a villain to me?

"A villain?" Kia laughed and said, "I have been too lenient with you; maybe that is why you have refused to learn." Kia walked forward, and her eyes burned with anger as Aria took two steps backwards.

Kia cast a step to stop Aria from moving as she walked closer.

"You know, Aria, when I was a child, I was weak. People made fun of me because I was unable to cast a simple spell. I couldn’t even make a dead flower bloom again, and I hated myself. Why was I born weak? Why was I different from the others? Tell me, Aria, have you ever asked yourself such questions?"

"I have." Aria replied. She has also asked herself why she didn’t have a wolf; why is her only quality of a werewolf is having the smell of one? Why couldn’t she dream of having a mate? Aria had asked herself these questions multiple times, but ever since she met Tristan, these questions no longer came to her mind.

With Tristan, she felt like she didn’t need a mate; no, a part of her was glad that she didn’t have a mate because if she had, then would her marriage with Tristan be as it is now?

Aria tried to move as Kia kept walking to her, but she couldn’t. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t even take a step.

"Do you know how my mother brought out my powers? Although I resented her for her act, I can’t deny that my powers have grown immensely because of her. She would lock me up and bring to me many dead roses for me to bring them to life, and when I couldn’t do that, she would starve me, but even that did not work, but my mother didn’t give up on me, just the way I won’t give up on you." Kia said, standing just a step away from Aria.

There was fear in Aria’s eyes as she asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"My mother insisted on giving me pain, and she was certain that it would work. So she put a metal on the fire, and after it had gotten so hot, she would burn me with it."

"That’s terrible."

"Indeed, it was. I can still remember how I would scream and beg to stop, but she didn’t, and now even I am glad that she didn’t stop, because my powers really did awaken, and today, I shall awaken your powers that same way, through pain."

Aria shook her head as she pleaded, "No, please don’t."

"I’m sorry, but even you will thank me for this." Kia said, and her hand glowed with a white light as she pointed it in Aria’s direction, and the next thing that was heard was Aria scream.

Aria held her head as she kept screaming; she felt as if her head was about to be torn apart. "Stop it!"

"It is for your good." Kia repeated the words that her mother would say to her whenever she would beg to stop.

Aria’s scream kept increasing, and it was a heart-wrenching scream, and she felt as if it was better to be dead than to experience this pain, but suddenly it stopped, and she found herself elsewhere.

She saw Aitana and Delvin lying down intimately on the bed; thankfully, they were covered with a blanket, but she was about to look away when she heard him say.

"I’m sorry I marked you without your consent. I just hate seeing you with another man, and I lost control." Delvin said with a pout.

Aitana scoffed as she looked at him and asked, "Are you apologizing or defending your actions?"

"I am apologizing. Don’t be angry; I hate it when we fight." Delvin said kissing her shoulder.

"But yet, it feels as if that is all we do. Fight." Aitana replied with a distant look in her eyes.

"And have mind-blowing sex." Delvin teased.

"Delvin!" Aitana hit, and they both ended up laughing.

Delvin’s face became serious as he said, "No matter how much we fight, you must promise me that we will always be together, and also, you must never say you hate me, not even as a joke."

"I promise," Aitana said with a smile.

Aria watched as they both shared a kiss, and when Delvin rested in her arms, she watched as Aitana tried to control her tears from falling and said in a whisper.

"I’m sorry."
