Very soon, a group of people rushed into the bathroom where they were. The first to come in was Qi Cheng. He saw Ji Yunhuan dragging Su Zi into the bathroom just after he came upstairs, so he hurried over.

A blanket was draped over Su Zi. After she coughed out all the water, Bai Liyan gave her a towel to dry her hair.

When Qi Cheng saw Ji Yunhuan, he walked towards her. He glared at her coldly and said in an icy voice, "Do you know what you are doing? If I hadn’t come in, were you planning to kill her?"

Ji Yunhuan glared at Su Zi without a hint of guilt. "Yes!"

"You’re simply crazy!" Qi Cheng was also furious. Su Zi was a guest and Su Molang’s sister. No matter how much conflict there was, he didn’t think Ji Yunhuan had the right to do this.

Ji Yunhuan chuckled softly, her hand unconsciously clenching, "I am not the old Ji Yunhuan. I am your wife. As long as we are not divorced, don’t I have the right to deal with a person?"

"Anyone but her!" Qi Cheng said definitively.

It was only because she was Su Molang’s sister. It was absolutely not okay!

Especially since Ji Yunhuan had no idea why he was helping her.

Ji Yunhuan didn’t refuse.

She and Chenchen got into Bai Liyan’s car.

Qi Cheng stood by the window, watching her leave with Chenchen without any hesitation, feeling an immense sense of irony.

He had thought so much about her, yet she didn’t care at all!

In the car, Bai Liyan said, "Chenchen’s health isn’t suitable for staying outside. I’ll take him to my hospital, alright?"

Ji Yunhuan was very grateful for his help in such times and nodded, "Thank you, Dr. Bai."

Bai Liyan didn’t feel there was anything to be thankful for. He could have explained things clearly to Qi Cheng and resolved the misunderstanding without letting Ji Yunhuan suffer so much, but he didn’t want to do that.

By the end of the morning, Bai Liyan had arranged the best possible room for Chenchen, with all the top facilities.

As he just finished confirming the arrangements, he received a call from Qi Cheng, "What nonsense are you doing?"

If it weren’t for his encouragement, Ji Yunhuan wouldn’t have left so confidently.

Bai Liyan replied, "I don’t care if you two are fighting. My focus is on my patients, but you... Qi Cheng, do you regret driving her away?"

"Helping her like this, you will regret it." He knew that without Bai Liyan’s instigation, Ji Yunhuan wouldn’t have left so decisively.

"I never do things I regret." Bai Liyan finished and hung up the phone.
