Chapter 74: Chapter Sixty-Four
LEO
It’s supposed to be a fucking normal journal on the husband of the most successful business in this continent. But it doesn’t really seem to be one since there have only been a just few lines about Erwin’s lifestyle and all the other things are related to his past relationships-nope sexsationships because none of them can’t actually be regarded as a proper relationship.
It’s clear that there is someone out there, trying to drag mud about Erwin and ruin his peaceful life. They are directly attacking him. And of course in their list of people whom Erwin dated before the top member is none other than Lucy! Rejoice!
Why the fuck she always...
There is a detailed elaboration of their relationship, from the beginning to the end. It’s as clear as daylight that it’s all based on her exaggerated statement and believe me I have no fucking desire to go through this shit. There are other forty-some people’s names on the list of this article. Well, it’s astonishing that they are only forty. The way Erwin fucks me...it should be at least be hundred there.
I lock my screen and throw it over to the back seat. I start the car once more.
"May I take them down, Leo?" He asks, his tone tense and worried.
"You don’t have to." I decline, "Let them be there and make sure every single fucking people see this thing."
"E-Excuse me?" Kevin stammers, "Are you being serious right now? You are literally telling me to ruin your husband’s name."
"Kevin, do you really think I am kidding with you right now? I am being completely serious here. Taking down the post will not help with anything. Have you seen just how many people have seen the post? And I am the richest businessman in this state so, you can rest assured that I am going to have my name as the heading of the new channels for the next few days. Taking down the post will only make the situation more difficult to deal with. And they are not fake either, so there are only a few things we can do as our defense. You got me?" I say mechanically.
"Yes, Leo. I got you. So I am supposed to let the post be?" He asks.
"Yes. let it be. There will be many more articles and posts there until the next morning and we can deal with all of them together then."
"Okay, Leo. And there is another thing I wanted to ask you." Kevin clears his throat, "President, are you not coming back to the company for the night? The work is piling up here." His tone shifts to pleading.
"I am on my way back there," I say nonchalantly.
"Okay." He cuts the call.
I take off my buds, not taking my eyes off the road. I am curious about the people who are up Erwin’s ass. I want to know the benefits of their actions. Their gain on throwing mud over Erwin’s name.
It’s quite natural to have multiple relationships before getting married. Why are they drawing a huge thing out of it? And it’s quite clear that they had someone who had track of every single relationship Erwin got into. Did he have a stalker? Or does he have a stalker?
Whatever that person who is up to ruin Erwin’s life is up to, is not anything good and it is as clear as the daylight. But their actual motive will be understandable when they make another move. And I want to see just what move they pull. It will be a fun game.

After working another two hours at my office I returned home and surprisingly, Erwin didn’t go to my office to pick me up today from there.
Did something happen to him?
I walk into the living space of my huge manor. It’s somehow too still today here. Usually, Rita sits by here and waits for me to come back and take her in my arms but she isn’t here today. And Erwin sits by her side when he by chance doesn’t go to pick me up. But there is no one here today.
I climb up the stairs and open the door of my bedroom to find Erwin sleeping in the bed. There is an ice pack resting on his forehead and Tina sitting on a stool by his side, dozing off. My heart squeezes tightly.
Tina jolts awake from his dizziness and quickly stands up. "Leo."
"What happened to him?" I rasp, my eyes softening and my chest overflowing with emotions.
"He is running a fever." Tina glances briefly at him, sympathy and tenderness pouring out of her soft gaze. "From this morning. He was taking more time than usual to get up from the hotel so I came up to check up on him and found out he was running a high fever."
I took off to the company earlier than usual this morning, so I didn’t notice that Erwin was running a high fever.
So this is why he couldn’t go to pick me up. Why am I so selfish? Always thinking about myself...
"Did you call the doctor?" My brows are creased in concern.
"No," Tian answers guiltily, "Erwin didn’t want to call any doctor. He said he would be fine if he just rested up a bit. No doctor is needed. He said that he often gets feverish because of the season change."
"Oh." Just how many things I don’t know about you, Erwin? "I am sorry to trouble you Tian and I really appreciate your help. I can’t thank you enough."
"Oh no, no." She waves her hands in the air, "Please don’t. The things you are doing for me are... unrepayable. So, if I can help you out a bit like this will really make me happy. Please don’t thank me for them."
I nod, "Please don’t mention them." I look over her shoulder to the clock, it’s late. "Shouldn’t you go to bed now, Tina? It’s so late already. I will take it up from here."
She nods her head, "Okay. Please take care." She walks out of my room and I take off my jacket and hang it on the hanger.
I sit on the stool Tina was sitting on earlier. I eye Erwin with emotions, I never knew I had inside my heart. My heart feels like it’s being squeezed apart. My eyes are watery with sorrow and sympathy.
"I am so sorry," I murmur under my breath as I shuffle to keep my tears from streaming down my cheeks. My fingers curl into a fist and I clench the clothing covering my thighs, my head hanging between my shoulders.
"Why are you crying, Leo?" A weak amused voice rings in my ears. My head shoots up to find Erwin looking at me with a small smile etched on his beautiful face. "I am not dying. Come on, I am just a little sick and it is not your fault. I sometimes get feverish because of the session changes and I am quite sensitive to cold."
"Are you sure that you are fine?" I ask concernedly, "You are not highly feverish are you?"
"No, I am not." He lifts the heavy ice bag from his forehead and sits up with a low grunt, "See I am fine."
"You don’t seem so..." I blurt out meekly, "You should be lying in the bed."
"I said I am fine, Leo." He eyes me intently and then takes another moment before asking, "What about you? Are you fine? You seem tense about something."
My eyes are round with surprise at his sudden remark. I slightly lean forward, "Is it that obvious?’
He sputters a laugh, his voice is slightly hoarse because of the fever, "I don’t know about others but for me it is. So, what happened? Something related to work? Your family? Or...me?" He pauses briefly before asking the last question.
"Well, it’s actually about you." I purse my lips.
"Figured so. He moves fast." Erwin nods. "So, what’s it about? Is it too bad?"
"It’s about your... history with girls and some boys."
He winches, "I figured it would be bad but didn’t thought this bad. So...do you...hate me now, Leo?" He asks hesitates.
"Why would I? But I am quite thrilled at the very long list." I nod. I am not mad but jealous, "quite a history you have there."
He just smiles awkwardly, shakes his head, and rubs the back of his neck. A slight pink spreads across his cheeks. He is embarrassed. "Sorry for that."
"Why are you apologizing? Just don’t tell me that you are cheating on me." I say half playfully and half seriously.
Erwin’s weak features harden as he turns serious, "I would never do that, Leo. You are the only person I love, I want."
My heart fills with sudden tenderness and warmth. I smile mildly and nod, "Yes, I believe you."
His eyes widen so slightly that it’s almost undetectable and then he smiles and nods.

And then the next morning, there is another article and this one is worse than before.
