Chapter 470: Chapter 387 Dominion Faction_3
It’s no longer known how the Mongferans coped in the past, but now, most Mongferans treat "Flower Shell Loans" as their own wallets, endlessly squandering in their youth.
If they collectively defaulted on their loans, Belladett might face a financial crisis. However, interestingly, once Mongferans reach adulthood, they work tirelessly to repay and continue to borrow for consumption. The term "deadbeat" has almost never appeared in Mongferan vocabulary.
"Rather than calling it the Dominion Faction, it’s more of a Money Faction," Hanna concluded. "So, now you understand why Yvalin asked us to save up 6,000 shell points, right? She’s just giving you a channel to spend, enticing you to use Flower Shells, then she can permeate your thoughts and transform you into the slaves she needs."
"Do not accept any gifts from her. Unless she explicitly states they are given to you unconditionally, they are still her property. Every minute you use them equates to encroaching on her interests, and she can use that to make you repay with your cognitive abilities."
Igula had a question, "Why don’t other places like Azura or Vatican Mura follow this effective Money Faction approach, and only Belladett uses it?"
Hanna answered, "Because not every family clan has an Angel ancestor."
The reason Belladett can dominate millions is that every loan they offer is tied to a ’money-for-thought-process’ Contract. The real executor is not Yvalin, nor her ancestors, but the Void Realm.
Only the Void Realm can support the high frequency of millions of Contracts that need to occur daily. In a sense, Belladett’s real support is the Void Realm itself.
Even if other families wanted to mimic Belladett, without the Void Realm, they wouldn’t be able to control even a few dozen people, let alone run a small-to-medium business.
Before, Hanna and the others hadn’t understood how Belladett got so close to the Void Realm. But after the "Family Rankings" were published, everyone understood—the Necromancy Angel didn’t leave a legacy to the family, but she left a golden key for enslaving all beings.
"The Necromancy Faction and the Dominion Faction always had similarities," Harvey also explained. "The Dominion Faction enslaves living beings, whereas the Necromancy Faction creates and enslaves spirits. The Necromancy Angel was able to cross-apply knowledge and invent new Dominion Miracles. Though it’s an irregular approach, it’s perfectly logical."
By this point, everyone also understood their next goals.
Earn 6,000 shell points.
And not owe Yvalin anything.
"I can’t believe you guys are still daring to buy Yvalin’s products!" Igula slammed the table in anger. "Now you think using your hard-earned shell points is no big deal, tomorrow you’ll think using a little Flower Shell is no big deal, and the day after you’ll be freely mortgaging your brains! She’s gradually breaking down your defenses until you let your guard down and become that wretched woman’s slave!"
Harvey raised his hand, "Igula—"
"Harvey, can’t you be a bit more vigilant?" Igula sighed. "Now everyone knows you adore the Necromancy Faction, and anyone can see you are destined to inherit the Angel’s mantle. The Angel whose grave you’re digging is Yvalin’s ancestor. Do you think she holds any fondness for you? She’s just using you to reclaim her ancestor’s legacy. How can you still dare buy her stuff? If I were you, I’d just treat myself as a corpse and completely ignore that evil woman!"
Liss also raised her hand, "Aunt Bokin—"
"You don’t speak either!" Igula glared at Liss. "Can’t mirrors be used? Must you covet that minor convenience? Didn’t Ash teach you not to talk to strangers? Yvalin is a female ogre who specifically preys on children, why would you still engage with her?"
Ash raised his hand with a complex expression. "Meiwa, about that..."
Igula grew angrier as he spoke, "Ash, you’re the most outrageous. You swore this morning to make me trust you, and now you feel like you can’t resist the temptation. Let me guess, is she seducing you? Can’t you restrain yourself for a few days or redirect it yourself? Surely you’re not actually attracted to that short Yvalin?"
"Igula Bokin, sir."
Igula paused slightly, then slowly turned his head to see a blue-haired girl standing behind him.
"Sorry, the short dead woman has something she wants to discuss with you. Please come with me."
"No problem." The Swindler quickly adjusted his façade as if nothing was amiss and followed Yvalin out. However, before leaving, he turned and glared furiously at Ash and the others, as if to question why they hadn’t warned him.
But Ash and the others had good reasons for their silence; they had tried several times to interrupt Igula, but the Swindler’s rapid-fire speech and urgent release of linguistic miracles left them just watching Igula repeatedly strike at Yvalin.
"Do you think a coffin can fit two people?" Harvey suddenly asked.
Ash pondered, "I think it’s no problem. Igula is quite thin."
Liss blinked. "Huh (⊙△⊙)?"
Ash patted Liss’s head. "Liss, today only the three of us are dining together, no one else, understood?"
Liss: "Σ(°△ °|||) Are you implying that Aunt Bokin is definitely done for!?"
