Madam Wants To Divorce Her Second Husband -
Chapter 60
Chapter 60: Chapter 60
Camilla entered the office lobby wearing a red dress. She also had a bag and heels that matched her dress color. She wasn’t bothered by the people staring at her; in fact, she found it quite amusing that she still had some of her youthful allure even in her late fifties.
Of course, she had been taking measures to ensure she looked as youthful as possible, especially considering the multi-billion dollar assets she would inherit from Aiden in the future.
Camilla walked towards the receptionist, whose name she kept forgetting. But that wasn’t important, right? This receptionist was one of her people, though Camilla preferred to think of them as her walking debts.
"Good morning," Camilla smiled amicably in front of Isabella. The receptionist immediately became tense. Isabella tried her best to suppress her fears but couldn’t completely hide it.
She felt nauseous whenever she had to face this woman, especially knowing that her father’s life was in Camillia’s hands.
"I’m here to meet my son. But I want to ask you a few things before I go," Camilla said. Leaning forward and lowering her voice, she asked, "Where is that new secretary? Is she here today?"
"Y-yes, Madam. She’s in the CEO’s office right now. But I’m not sure you’ll like what she’s wearing today," Isabella muttered.
"Oh? What’s wrong with her attire?"
"Uhm..." Isabella recalled the initial shock upon seeing Cindy walk across the office lobby wearing something that should only be used in a porn movie. "She’s barely dressed. I don’t think she understands our company’s dress code."
Camilla became even more interested after hearing that. She had expected the young woman to be inexperienced and timid, but her brazen behavior made her easier to manipulate.
Clearly, this woman wasn’t thinking at all, or lack the common sense to know what kind of attire she should use in a formal setting.
"Is that so? Hm, then I will see her myself. I can’t wait to see what she’s wearing today."
"T-then, I’ll escort you to the CEO’s office, Madam—W-wait, Madam, that’s the secretary I’m talking about!" Isabella exclaimed as the VIP elevator door slid open, and revealed Cindy walking out while wiping her tears and snot.
Camilla turned her head and instantly scowled when she saw Cindy’s face and attire.
It was so tacky, like something that came straight out of a porn movie. Her blouse was so tight and see-through that everyone could see her red bra.
Her latex skirt was so short that Camilla could see her underwear whenever she took a big step.
’My goodness, I thought she’s just a stupid girl, not this eternally deranged,’ Camilla thought. ’Is she really Winter’s little sister? As much as I hate that stupid bitch, this sister of hers is so tacky and filthy. She’s also uglier than Winter by a huge margin. It’s a real shame. I thought I could use her for something better.’
Of course, Camilla didn’t show much of her displeasure on her face. She had to keep an amicable face to ensure this woman was on her side, and Camilla had to assess her usefulness first to determine whether she could be utilized in the future.
Cindy left the office and stood outside, checking her phone as she wanted to order an Uber to go home. She kept sobbing because she had been humiliated by Winter, her sister whom she admired.
She also had been reprimanded by Sebastian, the man she fell in love with.
"It’s unfair. It’s really unfair..." Cindy muttered as she checked her phone. She didn’t know how to face Sebastian now because Winter had schemed against her. "My sister trapped me. She’s a witch..."
"Who’s a witch?"
Cindy instantly turned her head to the left and saw a beautiful woman in her late fifties. Her red dress made her look classy, especially with the jewelry adorning her body.
Cindy was stunned by this woman’s face because she could instantly recognize the facial features.
They were Sebastian’s eyes.
Camilla smiled at Cindy and said, "Pretty girl, what makes you cry?"
Cindy wiped her tears. She didn’t know who this woman was, but since her eyes were similar to Sebastian’s, she guessed that this woman must be related to her Prince Charming.
"I-it’s nothing, Ma’am. Don’t mind me."
"Oh no, how could I not mind? You are crying in public. I’m not cruel enough to be a bystander," Camilla sighed. She took a perfumed handkerchief from her bag and handed it to Cindy. "Here, use this to wipe your tears."
"T-thank you..." Cindy accepted the perfumed handkerchief and wiped her tears and snot with it. She wanted to give it back to Camilla, but the latter refused.
"It’s a gift for you. Keep it," Camilla said lightly, though she was actually disgusted at how unsightly this woman was.
"T-thank you, Ma’am. Um, sorry, may I know your name?"
"Camilla Saenz," Camilla introduced herself proudly. "And I’m sure you can assume my relationship with the CEO of Goldmine Realty right now."
Cindy’s eyes widened.
She quickly fixed her posture, trying to look proper in front of her future mother-in-law, and nodded, "S-sorry, Mom—I mean, Ma’am. It’s my first day working here, and Sebastian hasn’t told me about you yet. My name is Cindy Hazard."
Camilla winced when this woman accidentally addressed her as Mom and her son as Sebastian instead of using Mr. Saenz.
’This woman lacks class and probably never learned proper etiquette. I don’t know if I can fix her,’ Camilla thought. But she hid her displeasure and said, "I heard that you’re working as the new secretary in his office."
"Yes! I’m his new private secretary! Though... I don’t think it went as well as I expected," Cindy muttered. She lowered her head sadly. "Sebastian yelled at me and told me to leave. Even though I’ve done nothing wrong."
Camilla observed Cindy’s outfit and thought, ’No wonder he kicked you out. I’d have done the same, or probably worse than that. You dressed like a street skank.’
