Loving The Temperamental Adonis
Chapter 218: Another kiss

Chapter 218: Another kiss

After about ten minutes of scrolling, Mia finally chose a dress. All the dresses were beautiful and elegant, but she chose a black one that caught her eyes and sent a message to the fashion house along with the picture of the one she chose. When she exited the message and pressed the home screen, she was surprised to find that her picture was Neil’s screen wallpaper. She didn’t recall where the picture was taken, but she was smiling towards the camera. Mia felt her cheeks heat up and her stomach flutter with butterflies. She sat there, her heart swelling with love and joy at the thought of how much Neil cherished her.

She was still sitting in the dining area when Neil came down again, all dressed up for business, but his tie was held in his hand along with his suit jacket. He walked up to Mia and held up the tie, smiling boyishly. "Would you mind doing this for me, querida?" He had seen somewhere that when your woman did your tie, it brought good luck to you. Even though he didn’t believe in such nonsense, he liked the idea of Mia doing it for him everyday from now so that when he’d be at work, he’d look down and be proud that she’d done his tie.

Mia didn’t hesitate to nod her head and take the tie from his hand. Because he was way taller than her, he leaned down slightly so she could reach his neck. His leaning position made her floral scent whiff to his nose and stirred up his desires. The entire time she was tying his tie, he was looking down at her lips. He noticed how she bit down on her bottom lip, how her cheeks flushed as if she were aware of his stare, and how her brown eyes shone with concentration.

Mia, on the other hand, could feel his gaze on her and feel his warm breath fall on her forehead. She felt that delicious stirring in her stomach and the warming sensation in her lower abdomen. Her hands shook slightly, and she became clumsy with the tie because of his gaze. When she was finally done with the tie, she helped him into his suit jacket. When she started to move away from him to give him space to leave, he pulled her into his arms.

Neil held her tightly, his lips finding their way to hers, "Thank you," he whispered, he kissed her lips with what seemed like a brief kiss. His lips brushed hers, and he started to let her go, but she tightened her arms around his neck, kissing him back with all the love and apology in her heart. Neil lost the battle, and his mouth opened hungrily on hers, his hands shifting restlessly over the sides of her breasts, then cupping her buttocks and holding her tightly against his aroused body while he kissed her until they were both on fire.

When he finally pulled his mouth from hers, she kept her arms around his neck and rubbed her cheek against his chest, like a kitten seeking comfort. Her body was still pressed tightly to his and Neil was debating about the wisdom of torturing himself with another kiss when she tipped her head back, smiling invitingly into his eyes. He felt his entire body tighten and surge in response to that provocative look, and he reluctantly shook his head,

"No more, my beautiful little kitten. I’m already so turned on that I can hardly stand here. And besides," he belatedly added, trying to look stern, "I’m still angry with you for last night."

In the the bright light of the dinning area, he watched her eyes light with an embarrassed smile, "I’m sorry. I didn’t know what came over me last night. Can I have one more kiss?"

"Mia," he said, pulling her hips tighter against his arousal to illustrate his next words, "I’m dying of lust right now, but because I know you’d moved out of our room for some reason, I intend to keep my sexual desires until I have given you what you wanted."

"What? I don’t want anything." She said so forcefully that he burst out laughing and kissed her again, then he gently moved her away. "I know you want something. But don’t worry, you’ll get whatever that is tommorow, I promise," he said with a tender grin. "No more kisses until I’ve figured it out."

"You don’t have to," she said softly, her heart full of hope and happiness. But more importantly, she knew he’d never find out if she didn’t tell him, and if he didn’t find that out, there would be no more intimate moments between them. That would be torture for both of them.

Neil wrapped his arms around her and hugged her for a moment, before he reluctantly pulled away. "I have to go now," he said, his voice regretful. "But I’ll be back early tonight. The dress will be delivered to you later." He placed a kiss on her forehead, "Bye." Then he took his phone from the table and left with a small smile on his face.

Mia watched him until he walked out the door, regretting her actions of moving out even more. What if he never found out what she wanted? Wouldn’t that mean they’d never kiss again? Should she just tell him and end the game... But the moment would lose it’s magic if she told him to propose to her on one knee and buy her flowers and take her for a night stroll and a date!

There’d be no special moment if she knew what he was about to do, and now that she no longer cared if he did it or not, he’d become determined to find it out and do it. How did he plan to know if she didn’t tell him? She should have just agreed to their marriage yesterday!
