Chapter 111: Leveling up Endlessly

Xavier opened his inventory and tapped on the glowing MYTHIC tab. A dozen items floated in midair, spinning slowly with golden particle effects and arcane glyphs swirling around them. He tapped one.

And so on. Every mythic was broken-level OP. Xavier didn’t even bother reading the rest in detail. He grinned.

Then a prompt popped up.

[AUTO-EQUIP BEST ITEMS?]

He pressed yes.

Golden light exploded from his avatar. His body got wrapped in shiny mythics, and a few legendaries that slotted in the gaps. It was like watching a low-level noob suddenly become a raid boss.

Oliver, still spectating from the screen beside him, raised an eyebrow. "Wait, bro. Are there no level restrictions or anything?"

Xavier checked again. "Some of these relics and gear have level requirements. A few are even class-locked. They’re asking me to choose a class before I can use them fully."

Oliver leaned forward. "And what level are you on now? Topping up and rolling the gacha must’ve given you something, right?"

Xavier clicked on his character screen.

[Level: 30]

"Damn." He blinked. "I’m already Level 30?"

His base stats had shot up. HP and MP were in the thousands now, but the other stats — Strength, Agility, Intelligence, etc. — stayed close to default values, except they all had (+xxx) values beside them, thanks to the mythic and legendary gear.

[Available Stat Points: 150]

"Guess I got 5 stat points per level."

Oliver gave him a nod. "Go ahead and use them, bro. You’re wasting free power."

Without much thought, Xavier spread them evenly across all stats.

[+25 to Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Endurance, Luck, and Dexterity.]

"All right," Xavier said. "Now I gotta choose a class, huh?"

He opened the class menu. A floating hologram displayed the available options:

⇒Class list

[ Swordsman

Mage

Archer

Assassin

Paladin

Warlock

Summoner

Monk]

"I don’t even know what to pick, man," Xavier muttered. "I just wanna mess with Lucas and Ethan. Screw theory-crafting."

Oliver laughed. "Pick something that works with your gear. Some of the mythics might be class-blessed."

Before Xavier could choose, another system prompt popped up.

[INVENTORY FULL — PLEASE CLEAR ITEMS TO CONTINUE]

"Great. Inventory’s full," Xavier said.

"Lemme see it," Oliver said.

Xavier opened his inventory and projected it in front of Oliver.

Oliver immediately filtered and sorted everything by rarity, type, and category.

"All right. First, sell all the dupes and anything below Epic. That alone will clear like 60% of this junk," Oliver said.

Xavier nodded.

"Next," Oliver continued, "you’ve got dupes up to Legendary tier. Don’t sell those to merchants. Keep them. Players will pay you up to 10x more. If it’s rare or limited drop, 100x even."

"Got it."

"And keep all relics. Those are probably used in quests or have passives you don’t even know about yet."

"Yeah, yeah."

"Now for crafting materials — you’ve got low, mid, and high grade. Dump the low-grade ones. Keep the mid and high. They’re used for upgrades and endgame gear."

Xavier followed every instruction, organizing and cleaning his inventory like a pro.

When they were done, Oliver gave a satisfied nod. "Bro, the crafting mats you’ve got alone are worth, like, three years of solid grinding."

Xavier smirked. "I’ll sell the legendaries to players later. Let the market warm up."

After everything, a sudden surge of light blasted from his screen.

[LEVEL UP!] [LEVEL UP!] [LEVEL UP!]

He had jumped to Level 50.

Another 100 stat points available.

Xavier, once again, spread them evenly across all stats. His numbers now looked beastly, and the glow on his avatar was practically blinding.

"Now we’re talking," he said.

Oliver leaned in. "Yo, what’s your full stat sheet look like now? I wanna see."

Xavier smirked. "Brace yourself." He pulled up the status window and sent it to Oliver’s screen.

Oliver stared at the numbers like he was watching a god-tier hacker in action. "Bro. You’re cracked. This isn’t fair."

Xavier just grinned. "And I haven’t even picked my class yet."

"What are you waiting for? Pick it! "You are probably the only player who didn’t pick up a class even after hitting level 50!""

"Yeah, I am." Xavier opened his profile and noticed the hybrid class option.

"What’s this?"
