Chapter 309: Chapter 307 Dwarf Demon (Extra for the Solitude of the Blazing Sun!)

In the Old Calendar Era, there once was a battleship near the Federation’s coastal waters that had established an invincible reputation.

Samuel Winston’s notorious fame at that time was inextricably linked to its existence. In the eyes of many pirates, naval officers, and merchants, the two were nearly synonymous.

Tang Qi and Sally once shamelessly lingered on the Immortal for a time as a disgraceful pair of parents.

However, the Immortal of that time and the horrific warship before them now bore many differences.

For instance, the unknown evil deity figurehead did not exist back then.

And from the comic “Immortal Legend,” it was clear that there was a huge disparity between the historical Immortal and the one currently struggling bit by bit to break free from the massive dark vortex.

“So, was this figurehead constructed after Samuel Winston was exiled to the Exotic Realm?”

As this thought surfaced in Tang Qi’s mind.

Suddenly, a somewhat sharp and repugnant roar emanated from behind the figurehead.

Immediately after, an extremely hideous head appeared.

It was a monster!

With grey-white skin full of wrinkles and coarse hair, pointed ears, a massive nose, and gill-like organs on its cheeks. Its large, sickening eyes were now sweeping over the entire Winston Town.

Its mouth slightly agape, revealing sharp teeth inside with viscous saliva dripping down.

“Hm?”

A series of peculiar and puzzled gazes landed on the monster.

Evidently, no one expected that what would appear on the Immortal was not the Immortal Earl, but an incredibly ugly monster.

It seemed to arrive with anticipation, but the sight within Winston Town clearly disappointed it.

Because there was not a single soul.

However, it soon noticed the three “islands” above the crimson ocean.

Jason and Rafael!

The people of the Church!

And Tang Qi and the Witches atop the giant tree.

“Huff~huff”

Even from a great distance, Tang Qi and the Witches could sense that the monster’s breathing hastened the moment it saw the Witches.

Then, its entire body was revealed.

It turned out to be a monster resembling a Dwarf, with only a piece of unknown beast skin covering its groin area, which was being slowly propped up by something indescribable.

The Witches’ complexions immediately turned unsightly.

A fury that even Tang Qi found startling began to brew.

While mourning for the monster in his mind, Tang Qi concentrated his gaze.

Special ghost light converged, and an image was formed.

[Extraordinary Creatures: Dwarf Demon.]

[State: Normal.]

[Information Fragment One: Creature from an unknown Exotic Realm. Although they possess a humanoid form, they are fundamentally different from humans. They are a species with numerous varieties; different Dwarf Demons possess different species abilities.]

[Information Fragment Two: They are keen on seeking humanoid creatures to mate and reproduce with, which of course includes humans themselves.]

[Information Fragment Three: Its current identity is one of the lower deck sailors on the Immortal.]

“Exotic Realm Monster?”

“Sailor?”

Tang Qi suddenly realized that the situation aboard the Immortal was not just different from what the descendants of the twelve patriarchs had anticipated, but even he, who had once stayed on the Immortal, had never imagined the Immortal would look like it does now, much less did he expect to find such sailors aboard.

The information Tang Qi obtained in Norma’s Sin world could not be wrong.

But that information was limited to before Samuel Winston was exiled to the Exotic Realm.

Thus, all these changes occurred within the Exotic Realm.

A doubt quickly occupied Tang Qi’s mind.

“Is the Immortal Earl still alive?”

A very reasonable question since, after being exiled to the Exotic Realm for several hundred years, it would be natural for unforeseen events to occur in an unknown world; perhaps the Immortal had changed hands, and the Earl had perished in the Exotic Realm.

Maybe what descended upon Winston Town was a monster from the Exotic Realm?

Tang Qi’s doubts did not linger for long; within a few breaths, the answer was unveiled.

“Gurgle~lull”

“Gurgle lull”

Upon spotting the Witches, the Dwarf Demon behind the figurehead immediately let out an excited roar, and then, parts of the Immortal revealed more hideous figures swarming out, with their disgusting heads occupying everyone’s field of vision.

With lascivious gazes fixated on the Witches, their robust yet ugly bodies climbed the ship’s hull and leapt down with “plop~plop” sounds. Oddly enough, they did not sink into the blood-like waters; light shone beneath their feet, enabling them to tread upon the surface as if it were flat ground.

And their number, initially thought to be dozens or hundreds, kept increasing unceasingly.

Gradually, a nearly ten-thousand-strong “Demon Army” took shape.

The Witches’ expressions turned from unpleasant to grave, and Jason atop the Winston Theatre likewise furrowed his brow.

These Dwarf Demons seemed weak in combat power, but their numbers… were far too exaggerated.

“Gurgle gurgle”

Just as the leading Dwarf Demon excitedly pointed at the Witches, about to charge.

Suddenly, from the Immortal, came an ancient Anglian language, somewhat unskilled and oddly pronounced.

“Great Captain, we have finally arrived at your homeland.”

“The air here is indeed as sweet as you described. Your servants smell the delicious scent of flesh, and that which belongs to you… the scent of Divine Blood.”

“Boom”

As this voice was heard, everyone’s gaze immediately abandoned the Dwarf Demon Army and fell upon the Immortal.

There, a new Monster figure appeared.

This was a “Dwarf Demon Priest” clad in priestly garb, its coarse hair long and white, like a white monster, accompanied by several Dwarf Demons of various forms, appearing on the deck of the now partially revealed Immortal.

Different from those low-rank Dwarf Demons, its gaze merely brushed over the Witches before completely fixating around Winston Town, upon the twelve altars nearby, its muddy and nauseating eyes filled with undisguised malice.

The Dwarf Demons standing behind it were each distinct, and the aura they radiated was much stronger than that of the endlessly arriving low-level Dwarf Demons.

The words that spill from its mouth overturned Tang Qi’s previous thoughts.

A Monster from the Exotic Realm speaking ancient Anglian language.

There was only one possibility: an Anglo from the Old Calendar Era had taught it.

Tang Qi’s gaze swept over it repeatedly.

“Extraordinary Creature: Dwarf Demon Priest, a Dwarf Demon with powerful magic abilities…”

“Extraordinary Creature: Giant Dwarf Demon, a Demon with tremendous strength.”

“Frost Dwarf Demon, a Monster with frost bloodline.”

“Split Dwarf Demon, a Monster with a great splitting ability.”

“Bloodthirsty Dwarf Demon, once entering a bloodthirsty state, its combat power will soar.”

“So, Samuel Winston was not tortured in the Exotic Realm but instead subdued a Species of Exotic Realm Monsters to serve him?”

Thinking of this, not just Tang Qi.

Others too came to this realization.

This unexpected twist caused even the Ascetics within the temporary Church, who had been silent, to exclaim in surprise.

And the war erupted at this time, all of sudden.

The white monstrous Dwarf Demon Priest ignored its underlings’ cravings, its gaze even more “starved” as it fixed upon the figures of the Ancestor Descendants within the dark fog, upon those twelve altars.

Then, with utmost fanaticism, it pointed at the altars and roared, “It’s these lowly wretches who have stolen the great Captain’s Divine Blood, my children, let us help the Captain to retrieve it, slit these wretches’ throats, and once the Captain frees himself from that Monster, we shall greet the grand return with a barrel of fresh Divine Blood.”

“Gurgle gurgle”

“Gurgle gurgle”

The white monster’s roar seemed to ignite the Dwarf Demons’ frenzy, and they swarmed out in droves.

Upon the blood-red ocean, they split into thirteen groups.

Each group precisely targeting one of the Ancestor Descendants.

The Witches, too, were not overlooked, as their veins likewise pulsed with the blood of the Ancestors.

What should have been the Ancestor Descendants, seeking to lift the curse by hunting down the “Immortal Earl” exiled for a hundred years, suddenly became a war between the Transcendents of Origin Blue Star and the Monsters from the Exotic Realm.

These Monsters exhibited extraordinary combat prowess in an instant.

And their way of fighting was completely different from that of the Ancestor Descendants.

The first to approach the Ancestor Descendants were not the Dwarf Demons charging at the Witches but another group, led by a giant-like Dwarf Demon amongst thousands of Demons; they moved over the blood-red sea with the velocity of a pack of raging Hyenas.

Speeding toward one side of the dark fog, confronting the surging fog that hid everything.

The giant Dwarf Demon slightly behind made a startling move; it suddenly opened its mouth, a Blood Bowl opening several times larger than its body, devouring hundreds of Demons ahead of it “crunch,” then began chewing with a bulging mouth.

Chewing while charging at the dark fog.

Upon closing in, it opened its mouth wide, spewing toward the dark fog.

The blood replete with corrosiveness and deadly poison, like countless blood arrows, pierced through the fog, enveloping all the Ancestor Descendants within.

“Ah~ Ahhh”

Screams of agony immediately arose.

The giant Dwarf Demon, with a Fierce smile, charged in, dispersing the fog, revealing many plump Humans lying on the ground, all Transcendents emitting furious auras and some unknown stench, yet this could not prevent their bodies from corroding.

“Gurgle gurgle”

The giant Dwarf Demon, like a carnivore entering a hive, eyed the “Pupa” strewn across the ground, it excitedly hopped about, seized a male Transcendent riddled with numerous bloody holes, and recklessly stuffed him into its mouth.

These Transcendents belonged to a Member faction of the Seven Ancestor Alliance.

The power they possessed was to stir and manipulate other lives’ “Gluttony” desire.

But as this scene unfolded, even Tang Qi couldn’t help but show a trace of sympathy.

“The Gluttony Family, about to be devoured.”
