After taking the car keys, he left the house. Thinking of their encounters in the hospital and the Starlight Hotel, a smile appeared on his face. He was a little impatient to meet her so he stepped on the gas pedal, and arrived at the restaurant in less than an hour.

He gave his car keys to the parking attendant, then looked around before he entered the building. The restaurant is located on the first floor. On the ground floor is the lobby and reception.

Since he had no intention of staying in the private room, he headed straight for the dining room. As soon as he entered, his arm was grabbed by a pair of soft hands.

When he felt a soft touch on his arm, he reflexively withdrew his hand, took a few steps back, and distanced himself from the other party.

Seeing his alert look, Su Aihan was stunned. She thought that since he agreed to her invitation, he wouldn’t mind her getting close to him. Unexpectedly, he still regarded her as a stranger.

Lin Xiao looked around and found Yan Yunci sitting on a table in the corner, near the buffet display stand. A smile appeared on his cold face when he saw her eating happily.

"No need, I saw an acquaintance," he refused Su Aihan without hesitation.

After saying that, he strode in that direction, leaving Su Aihan standing there with a shocked look on her face. This was the first time she saw a sincere smile on Lin Xiao’s face.

Although he was always smiling, the smile never reached his eyes, and was mostly a polite and distant smile. He always kept his distance from others, especially women, which frustrated her.

Therefore, when she saw him smiling just now, her heartbeat was beating very fast, as if it would jump out of her chest in the next second. She stood there, looking at his back, hesitated, and finally decided to follow him.

Yan Yunci sat in the corner, eating food intently, ignoring everything around her. So, when she heard someone pulling up a chair next to her, she thought it was Chen Yuhan and said, "Yuhan, have you got the lobster?"

Hearing her words, Lin Xiao let out a soft chuckle. With a playful tone in his voice, he said, "Miss Yan, what a coincidence. We met again."

Yan Yunci heard his voice, blinked her eyes, and turned to look at him. Seeing that the person sitting next to her was not Chen Yuhan, she quickly chewed the food in her mouth and swallowed it, before saying, "President Lin? What are you doing here?"

Lin Xiao looked at the sauce on the corners of her lips and had the urge to wipe it away.

He took a napkin and handed it to her and said, "Miss Yan, my name is Lin Xiao. Just call me by my first name. Calling me President Lin will make us appear distant. After all, we are once a family."

Yan Yunci took the napkin, wiped her mouth, and said, "President Lin, your brother and I have dissolved our marriage. Not to mention family ties, we do not even have friendship."

Lin Xiao raised his eyebrows and said with a smile, "Then let’s start with friendship. How about calling me by my name?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he heard Chen Yuhan’s cold voice from behind, "President Lin, it will be rude for Yunci to call you by your first name. After all, you are ten years older than her, and she should treat you as an elder."

When Lin Xiao heard this, the veins on his forehead throbbed with anger. He knew that there was a ten-year age gap between him and Yan Yunci, and he didn’t need anyone to remind him.

"After all, you are seven years older than her. It can be said that you and I are the same generation, but she also calls you brother," he added, emphasizing on the word ’brother’.

"But, I have never called him brother." Yan Yunci suddenly said.

Hearing her words, Lin Xiao was stunned, while Chen Yuhan smiled.

He placed a plate of lobster in front of her, sat down next to her, and said with a smile, "Well, President Lin, as you can see, Yunci never calls me brother. She always calls me by my name."

Yan Yunci glanced at him after hearing this. Normally, whenever she called his name, he would flick her forehead. Why did he seem so happy today when she said she would never call him brother?

A man’s heart is deeper than the Pacific Ocean. There is no way she could understand it.

While the two were arguing with each other, Yan Yunci was eating happily. Meanwhile, Su Aihan stood in the distance with her eyes wide open, looking at them in disbelief.
