"I was thinking about when I should settle the score with him. Unexpectedly, he came to seek death by himself. It’s also good. This way, I can save time plotting against him."

While the two of them were talking, Feng Zhexuan had already seen his wife standing beside Gu Jianci. Clenching his fists, he gritted his teeth and said, "Gu Jianci, you are looking for death."

Before the helicopter could land, a group of men pointed their guns at them. Seeing this, the captain was startled and asked, "President Feng, what should we do now?"

"Zhexuan, the police are on their way. It will take at least twenty minutes before they arrive. Don’t take the risk, wait for them," Wei Zheming said.

Feng Zhexuan looked at the helicopter waiting to depart and said, "I can’t wait. I will try to buy some time. You take our men and control Gu Jianci’s people."

As soon as he heard this, Wei Zheming refused immediately, "You can’t go alone!"

"If you want to go, I will go with you," he added.

Feng Zhexuan didn’t have time to argue with him and nodded.

Turning to look at Xiao Wu, Wei Zheming said, "Xiao Wu, I will leave those people to you. Make sure to protect yourself. Don’t be reckless."

Seeing the determination in his eyes, Xiao Wu swallowed her words and nodded. The best thing she could do for him at this moment was to lessen his burden.

After reaching their agreement, the captain lowered the helicopter without turning off the engine. As soon as Feng Zhexuan and Wei Zheming climbed down, the captain drove the helicopter away.

Standing a few meters away from him, Jian Yuan laughed and asked, "President Feng, are you planning to stay with me?"

Surrounded by a group of men aiming their guns at him, Feng Zhexuan remained calm and said, "Gu Jianci, let my wife go."

Yan Yuling’s eyes turned red when she saw her husband’s messy hair and newly grown beard. It was the first time she had seen him so haggard. When she took a step forward, her arm was pulled back by Jian Yuan.

Turning around, she saw him staring at her coldly as he asked, "Xiao Ling’er, where are you going? Did you forget what I told you before? You can only choose one option."

When she heard this, Yan Yuling turned pale and bit her lip. She stopped moving and stood beside him.

Seeing his wife standing there unmoving after Gu Jianci whispered something to her, Feng Zhexuan narrowed his eyes and said, "Gu Jianci, as long as you let my wife go, I will fulfill your request."

Hearing this, Jian Yuan laughed and said, "Feng Zhexuan, I forgot to tell you. I’m not Gu Jianci, and I don’t want anything other than my Xiao Ling’er."

As he finished his words, he leaned down and kissed Yan Yuling’s neck.

The moment he did this, Feng Zhexuan’s face turned red from anger. He shouted angrily and rushed toward him, "Bastard, don’t touch her!"

"Zhexuan!" Wei Zheming was surprised by his action and reached out to stop him.

But before he could take several steps, Feng Zhexuan saw a gun pointed at his wife’s temple. The moment he saw this, he stopped in his tracks and raised his hands.

"Gu Jianci, lower your gun," he said through gritted teeth.

Jian Yuan glanced at him with disdain and said, "I told you, I’m not Gu Jianci. Feng Zhexuan, we have been friends for so many years, yet you don’t even know my name? I feel sad."

"What are you talking about?" Feng Zhexuan asked with a frown.

"Joker, do you remember Code Zero?" Jian Yuan asked while raising his eyebrows.

Hearing this, Feng Zhexuan’s eyes flickered. He looked at him and asked, "Who are you?"

Jian Yuan smiled and said, "I’m Code Zero. I’m also known as Gu Jianci, but he is just a part of me. Right now, I’m Jian Yuan. As for that weakling, he has long been devoured by me."

The moment he finished speaking, both Feng Zhexuan and Yan Yuling were shocked. Yan Yuling turned to look at him and said, "So, you are really Jianci?"

Lowering his gaze, Jian Yuan smiled gently, just like how Gu Jianci used to, and said, "Xiao Ling’er, Jianci is part of me. He appeared not long after I saw my brother die from drowning."

"The one you promised back then was me, yet he took you away from me and ruined my plan. Now that everything is finally back on the right path, you only need to stay by my side. I will take care of everything."

Yan Yuling felt dizzy from the overwhelming information and turned pale.

Seeing her like this, Feng Zhexuan felt anxious and panicked. He glanced at his watch and noticed that ten minutes had passed. His men should have started taking control of this villa.

He clenched his trembling fists and asked, "Zero, what do you want?"

"Joker, I want Xiao Ling’er. As long as you get out of my way, I won’t kill you and will forget about our enmity."

Frowning at his words, Feng Zhexuan said, "I don’t think we have any enmity."

Jian Yuan burst out laughing when he heard this. After a while, he said with amusement, "No enmity, you say?"

He pointed his gun at him and continued, "Feng Zhexuan, if it weren’t for you, Xiao Ling’er would never have stained her hands with that woman’s filthy blood. She wouldn’t have left and forgotten about me. If it weren’t for you, my sister wouldn’t have been taken away from me and disappeared for so many years."

"Because of your appearance, my life was ruined. Now, you dare to say we don’t have enmity?" he asked coldly.

When he heard this, Feng Zhexuan’s eyes widened in surprise. He looked at him and said, "You are that boy."
